HeroesCon 2026 Wrap up Vendor POV
Added:Look, you take them all.
>> I like that.
>> You like that?
>> Yeah, we I like I like what he's saying.
>> Like what he's saying.
>> Take them all.
>> So, what number? I'm sorry. I didn't I didn't go over these yet. I was waiting for.
>> All right. Good morning. We have a little bit until we open. This is Friday. This is officially day one at Heroes. We switched a bunch of stuff around. We got stuff in better order.
So, let me show you what we got.
All right, this is it. B&B booth, double booth here on the corner. That's a 20 by 10.
We did set up our little spinner rack here. We'll put it closer to our booth once we actually get in and start opening. Uh mini racks. We got the Scotty Young rack.
Don't have that many blank covers, but I did that. Plus the Alex Ross Timeless.
They're all villains.
Uh these are all reprints of ECS from the early '9s.
Still have some I couldn't fit.
Um some of these the top two rows are signed.
Then it's just, you know, random stuff in there. Lots of variants.
And the last one again, a lot of I wouldn't say a lot of variants, but some variants. We got some other, you know, Green Lantern, Harbinger one, things like that. Books that are more on the cheaper side, but still cool books.
I don't want to just have, you know, hiding in a box. And then we have the wall.
Lots of good books.
Yesterday we got hammered.
I could not show y'all like anything.
I mean, we got killed.
So, okay, out here we got our two for fives.
Picked up 31 short boxes. Most of that went two for five and then we added some more. Um, these are the dollars or the five for fives that we that we went through. So, top and bottom side Good books over there. Got a little bit of consignment on that side as well.
>> Four rows of slabs and then two rowsish of raws. Pretty much Brian's X-Men run that he had for his PC. He priced out pretty much that whole two rows there.
And let's see.
Get a little bit closer.
Lots of ASM >> buddy Miguel hooked us this up for like the fourth time and down here the RAWs which are hard to see until you get up close like this.
Ah, you can see them.
Amazing adventures, Amazing Fantasy.
Some ASM Punisher limited series first Sabertooth.
Third print on Hulk 377. Very hard to find.
Got some Stan Lee sigs. First Punisher.
Death went Stacy. First Hobgoblin.
First Black Cat.
First Venom. First Carnage. Y'all know Hulk 181. GSX1 greatest cover of all time.
At least it's in the running.
>> Then we got some paintings here. This is Brian's uh sister-in-law.
She does some paintings. Uh 9 by12 acrylic on canvas. She does some superhero stuff. She sends it to us and we sell it during live shows and all that good stuff. So yeah, it's cool.
Good stuff. Lots of stuff. Finally got this in better order. It's not not perfect, but the ASM and other Spidey boxes.
All of this used to be, you know, normal price show stock. They're all half off now.
All the way down to Spawn, which we just picked up a ton.
Then we got more slabs that we can't fit.
>> Stuff like that.
>> I mean, I didn't realize it was even over here, but it's not expensive books.
So, still lots of ASM. Got Silver Age over here. Got a Rick and Morty number one.
Gosh, so much ASM.
Never thought I'd be tired of seeing ASM, but you know, it happens. Little bit of spawn. Got some sign stuff.
Yeah, tons of stuff. Brian went to the bathroom. He's probably looking around at people's booth without telling me.
That's okay cuz as soon as he comes back, I'm going to go do the same thing.
All right, let's uh see if we can get some action going here.
>> We have Ryan over here with an artist.
We put a table up to sit down and the artist decided to take the table and use it as a sign.
>> So Brian had to let me know how it went.
>> Very funny.
>> Anyway, besides that, we got holes in the wall. We got to fill them.
>> Um, mini racks. Nothing. Yes, sir.
>> Looking for All right. Time to go to the bathroom. I will give you a short rundown the wall that we're on, all the type of stuff that's here. Obviously, there's some stuff that's not comics. Um, but for the most part, it is comicheavy.
Uh, and this is artist alley.
>> There's some artists over here with their boots.
>> Many original art books.
Uh there's some empty booths here. I don't know what that's about. But uh of course there is some non-comic book stuff. Like I said, stuff like this.
Actually pretty quiet over here. But there is I know um Chris Claremont's here. I don't know exactly where his boo is, but let me see. There's a long line.
Where is this line going to?
Try to find that.
Is that Jen? John Jen >> right there.
>> So that's a I don't know what you consider a big line, but that's a sizable line here. I know Claremont. People have said they've been the Claremont line. It's massive.
Uh I don't know for sure. It's the only time I got to leave the booth, run to the bathroom. Okay, that's not really that long a line.
>> Satisfied. Uh yeah. Yeah. But I mean but still like I mean that but that's like >> what do we got down here? Can't remember. Oh couch crews down here.
Rough edges.
How you doing?
>> I'm showing you guys. I'm not even showing the stuff that's here. What's up guys?
Kyle, you going to come by and buy anything from us?
>> I've been trying, but you just uh >> GPA, >> tell me.
>> Tell me.
>> I've been trying, but you sold it to somebody else.
>> What was it you were looking for?
>> Remember the the the the platinum?
>> Oh, yeah. That's right.
>> My bad. Sorry, guys. Got to go. See you see you later. See you guys.
All right. says Oblivion. They got some good stuff back here. Don't really have a chance to look at their stuff. I'll try to get a get an outside zoom on it.
>> It's got some golden age. Okay.
>> Yeah, there's plenty of good books back there. Plenty of good stuff.
variants.
Good stuff. All right, this is a cool booth. They got music playing. Got some albums up there. Video games. Got a couple girls running the whole thing, man. It's awesome.
All right, and we're back.
>> Hopefully Brian's not mad.
>> All these silver 7's all came by the same place.
What if you take them all? I like that.
>> You like >> Yeah, we I like I like what he's saying.
>> Like what he's saying.
>> Take them off.
>> So, what number? I'm sorry.
>> All right. I didn't I didn't go over these yet. I was waiting for you to get situated.
>> I said 975 for those two.
>> 55 for this guy. Um let me see what I can do.
Um 350 on that.
>> Said my bottom was five on this, but I'll go another 50 off. I'll go 450 on that. So, what did I say? Yeah, you win.
350.
Uh, so that's seven for this pair. This guy, I'm upside down on this guy for real. Uh, this what I expect to be a 98.
It was a 98 CBCS. Uh, I I get I got it.
It was already It was a signed bag. Uh, 98 CBCS. All I did was get it signed and send it to CC and they came back in 96.
So, there's like send it back in.
>> There's one wrinkle right here. I think it'd be fixed. So, I'm pretty stuck on this one. I'm actually losing 100 bucks selling it, 1100 cuz I'm in it for 12, right? So, let's let's not make insult injury. I believe that I'm I'm semi-interested here.
>> I said uh what I said on this.
>> You said seven for the pair, right? 7 something.
>> No, no, no. I said 450 and 350. So, that's 800. Yeah.
>> You definitely said something was seven.
>> No, you said this was seven, but he'll do uh >> No, I said for that pair I can do 9005.
>> Yeah. Yeah. And then this this one I can do 450 and then 350.
So uh current stats on this one is 550 for uh the double sign.
>> All right. Big deal has been completed.
>> All types of stuff. Got modern variants.
>> Got major 98.
>> Somebody chop that in half.
Yeah. 9880.
>> Good job. All done.
>> You want me to try it?
>> We close up in a few 45 minutes, I think. And uh let's see. My buddy Lee came by, cleared out the EC reprints from the '9s. Bought them all, gave me a deal, took them all.
Forgot we even had these suckers.
So, put those up. Sold a bunch of timeless variants.
sold a good amount of Scotty Young. I put out some some extra to fill the space. But >> yeah, there are lots of holes on the wall.
>> There's been a busy day, but a good day.
>> Here's We'll see. We'll see where they go in the next.
They're right there.
>> No, no, no. It's fine. Guys are clearing us out, man. You got up in there, man.
>> I think that's true.
>> We just got done.
>> He didn't stop 43 short boxes out.
>> Oh, Right. Right. Right.
>> I've been doing this since I left.
>> So, he went from 19.
>> So, now >> we are getting cleared pretty good.
Also, the other boxes we have over there are fairly light.
>> Couple more stacks.
More boxes getting out of here. So, it's a good day.
All right. It's Saturday. It's early.
Brian's back sweating answering so many questions, taking so many books out the package.
I'm sure he's so happy. But back up, different books. You know how it is.
small changes.
>> Kind of went back to some older books on the mini racks.
>> Uh pretty busy. And last year was the release was the game.
>> Right. We have an awesome commission that we got. Oh my lord. Look at this sucker.
>> You take this off so you can see the full glory.
>> Yeah.
>> You're very talented there, girl.
>> Thank you so much. This is black and white.
>> Yes. Tell us a little bit about it.
Size, all that good stuff.
>> Right. So, this is 9 by12 inked. It has alcohol markers here for some of the gradient.
>> It is an homage to Secret Wars number eight.
>> Of course.
>> Love the jazz hands.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Got to have the hand.
If >> you didn't have the jazz hands, it would not be Secret Wars.
>> I love to accentuate the muscular structure and things of that nature. So, we got some highlights in here, some dark shadows, >> some smoke. And you want to tell people your handle, where to where to find you for commissions and all that good stuff.
>> You can find me on SP Comic Art on Instagram and yeah, I go to Scad and you guys should check me out. Check them out.
>> Awesome.
>> Happy to be here at Heroes.
>> Yes. Thanks. It was great meeting you.
Thank you so much for the piece again.
>> Absolutely. It's awesome meeting you guys.
>> All right, we got some books that came in. So, we got our consider 181 65.
Uh, very smart buddy. Now, what we just got dead number one CBCS 98 2800. We got Batman 227 signed by Neil Adams that just came here as well.
Um, there were three pretty good books. What was the other one?
Don't actually remember.
Uh, I'll find it in a second.
>> I got that.
>> Oh, yeah.
945 white paper.
>> Those have just come in. Bought those.
Um, a couple that came out of the box consignment. We had to wait until we had enough space. Did pick this up yesterday right before closing sign out of these two.
>> This is in a box. 53. Pulled that out.
>> Um, blah blah blah blah blah. Another one just came in. assignment subie one signed by Stan Lee and probably these two I didn't show earlier GI Joe1 90 new standls 94 and5 >> um did pick this up traded somebody really wanted a raw book so I grabbed a Wolverine one 90 not an expensive book but pretty Cool.
Picked those up. We We redid our X-Men row here. We picked up another little run from a local buddy actually was here and he had kind of a prime runish and he already had some anyway.
So, we had some duplicates up on the wall. So, they're getting they're getting picked through pretty good.
All right, it is Sunday. Yeah, the song lot of holes in the wall.
>> I didn't film very much at all, but lot of sales. Our two for fives, the table that was up here, we got bought out of our two for fives. Um, then our actual show stocked along black boxes, we actually got bought out of that as well.
And we just basically moved over the dollars here. We kept a few boxes of the show stock. Um, and the table that was back there was we pushed up so we have more space in the middle. But yeah, it's uh it's very wild, very busy. Just did a live show. Sold a little bit. So uh yeah.
All right. In Artist Alley trying to come out to the main Well, I guess I go this way.
going straight down artist alley. Uh the main what I consider the main rows to my left. That would take you pretty much straight down our booth. I mean, I literally have not been down here since Sunday, our first year here. This is our fourth year. Um yeah, it's super super busy. We do have two people kind of watching our booth with Brian, so it's a little bit better right now. So, I'm going to try to run this down, show you a little something because this this convention, you see the back wall and you figure this is it from where we are to that back wall is the whole thing. But if you've never seen the floor plan for this, the layout, it's a big L. So, it's going to turn to the left and go down quite a ways. And that's where CGC and another portion of artist alley is down there as well.
So it is a pretty big place when you uh consider the other side.
It is not as big as Mega Con's west count uh concourse that is I think 1.1 million. By the way, this is uh Heroes on Hard to find. This is the shop that puts this on.
They're basically right behind that is the entrance.
So, this would be right when you come in.
And we got Harley. He actually came over to our booth and uh bought some books from us.
Heritage,000.
>> What am I missing? Short box. Golden's back there. Andrew Pop.
>> Comic Connect. That's George Perez and Romeo Tango.
>> This is Anony's comic art.
>> You'll see him go live on Instagram and stuff like that.
>> Just massive amount of >> original comic art.
>> 12K on this one.
>> Very funny guy. I bought a couple pieces from him. I don't do much in art, but some really cool things signed up. It's always good. Got Dale Roberts. He's He's big time.
>> Dad, remember me brought to you.
>> We got Reese's Rare Comics. They're good guys. I do enjoy Reese.
Uh then we got Cove.
He's on the other side of this, but looking over here.
Let's go on the other side.
See, I think this is a gentleman, Gem City Books. It's a guy that was at Mega Con right behind us.
>> And we got Kobe Cove and he is not here, of course. He's out trying to buy books probably.
I made that banner for him.
Same uh same uprights, same banner rack that we use. Helped him out.
Sorry about that.
You guys see you got some big books up here.
Do Sandman lizard second vulture black suit punisher bat 251 bat 423 invincibles.
>> Awesome.
>> He's got great stuff. He's got deep pockets. Got some really good collections. And he's got his own little skirts down here. That's awesome. The deal Mario is over by us. Uh Mega Con.
Good guy. Super funny. Love talking to him.
>> Uh there's comics everywhere. Like if you come here and you don't know, never been here before. I mean, you'll get lost. There's so many comic books.
There's the L. So you would then go all the way down there. God, I haven't been past this part in a while.
>> She aviator. Oh, it's our buddy Joe.
Someone might come to his booth, but then totally forgot. Well, I was I was busy. So says Joe and that's Joe Junior.
Not on not on YouTube. I'm over your head. You can't see it >> everywhere. What?
>> We can't see you.
>> We see that though.
>> What's up, buddy?
>> Yeah, Bill's always He's pretty good.
>> And that's Aviator Comics, >> buddy Joe.
He was working at a restaurant. Holly, what'd you get?
>> Hey, buddy. Did you even go to Dave's concert?
>> Who?
>> Yeah, exactly.
>> I don't know nothing, man. I just work here, I think.
Dangerously terrific comics. I don't think I've seen this booth before. Got some turtles up there.
Savage. A lot of large format.
Pretty cool. Nice books.
Not familiar with this booth. Big booth.
I think that's at least three booths together. Maybe four. That's big.
And they've got something going up there. It's a stage or something. I don't even know. So, you got some t-shirts.
Is some toys, but very few.
Comics. More comics. Here's some non-comic stuff.
Very little that's in this convention.
>> Collector Supreme. Yeah, he's taken down. That's uh Joe on Instagram. Didn't even get to see what he had. I totally missed you, man.
>> Huh?
>> I couldn't even see what you had up.
>> Oh man, >> this was terrible for you two, man.
>> Good, man. How'd you do?
>> Great.
>> Crushing it as always, huh?
>> Great show.
>> Awesome. Good to hear, man.
And of course there's got to be a chocolate or a fudge place and stuff like that.
>> What's this? Good neighbor goods.
>> State Farm. Okay. Well, I got to say this side is I mean it is still a lot of comics, but >> it's not comic heavy. Yeah, this stuff's not on side that I'm at.
I think there's a reason they put them down this this side.
Yeah, I'm not going to walk all the way down to the end, but >> some variants.
Here's a t-shirts type of stuff. You see three or four of these at Mega Con booths like this patches, things like that.
We got some Funko two land.
Pennywise. Okay.
Uh, >> going on Lounge Flies.
Okay. This is Unknown Comics. We're familiar with them.
>> Different variants and all that good stuff.
>> I know I'm walking through pretty fast, but I do need to get back to the booth.
Brian's got to find a way to get Oh, there's some artist down there. Okay, got it. So, that's basically past here is is the artist alley on this side.
Then it kind of wraps around the convention some signings and all down there.
Okay.
>> All right. Well, let's get back to the booth. Brian is going to have to go get our little truck. budget.
>> Uh very small little budget truck. He's got to find a way to go get some type of queue for load out. It is awful here. Um what happens is you try to plan Saturday night to get a spot on the street. Um and then you basically are in line. Like that used to be the queue that put you in line for when the loading docks open.
Um, but then there was a sign last night that said no parking all spaces on on Sunday. So, we moved and uh we don't know.
We don't know how it's going to work with a load out or anything. It's iconic with our buddy Adam. What's up, bud?
>> Crushing it as always.
>> Trying to How'd you guys do?
>> Pretty good.
>> You guys coming back again?
>> Of course.
>> How can't you? How many time you guys were going to Baltimore this year?
>> We are.
>> How much were tables? I'm actually going to go is just to vent just to look.
>> I think it's more than here. We just got a 10x10 corner. What's it here? About about 1,000.
>> I just paid 950 for two corners >> per t per table. Okay. So, this was 1,900 bucks. This was >> So, it might have been like 12 or 13.
So, it's not like crazy like Mega Con, but we were able to get just one corner and it was okay. So, it's a few hundred more than it is here, but supposed to be a really good show, though.
>> Oh, yeah. I mean, I I've been there several times. Yes.
>> I was just talking to Adam at Iconic for a moment. I'm talking about the load out. Yeah, we're still don't really know what's what's going on with it. So, got to get back to the booth, let Brian run out, try to figure something out. Got a couple people staying with us to help out. So, we'll be okay.
All right, guys. Sunday.
We've removed all the slabs.
It's the end of the day, Sunday, I should say. Slabs are gone. A lot of boxes are gone. Pretty much boxed everything up. We're messing with a little bit of cash. Brian is in the loading dock. We're loading some stuff up now. We got to take down the racks.
We got to take down the banners. All that good stuff. But got a couple people here helping. So, we're we're going to rock this out and be out soon. So, that's it for Heroes.
