Crimson Desert has received its largest update yet, introducing three difficulty modes (Easy, Normal, Hard) with distinct gameplay experiences: Easy mode reduces player damage, opponent aggressiveness, and boss counterattacks while extending parry/dodge windows; Hard mode introduces delayed food effects (heal over time instead of instant heal), increased player damage taken, faster opponents, reduced parry/dodge timing windows, and shorter invincibility duration for roll. The update also adds substantial quality-of-life improvements including a sturdy gatherable chest with 1,000 storage slots, outfit storage in wardrobes (100 slots each, max 1,000 total), cooking from coolers without carrying items, lock features to prevent accidental item selling, preset keyboard/mouse/controller options, new pets (birds and cats), new weapons (Sword of Starlight and tree-cutting weapons), and expanded ore wells across Pywell.

Crimson Desert's Biggest Patch Yet - New Difficulty Modes - Easy, Medium and Hard Mode追加:
Hey, how's it going? Flinger here, and Crimson Desert just had a massive patch, and you know what? I think this is probably their biggest one yet. There's quite a bit of stuff that was added to it. There was more There was a couple different game modes, easy, normal, which is the one we've all been playing on already, and then hard. So, yeah, let's talk about this really quick, and let's break down the news.
All right. So, the major update this has to do with a lot with new storage, new pets, keyboard and mouse controller preset options, which is pretty dang huge.
And yeah, there's some pretty cool stuff. Okay, so the patch is actually available now on Steam, and then yeah, if you're looking for it on uh on Mac, it'll be soon here in just a little bit. Okay, so let's pop on up.
Actually, it'll be patch available at later time, so in progress. All right. So, the content easy, normal, hard difficulties have been added to uh the settings for play for experienced gamers or gray mans looking for more intense and thrilling combat, hard difficulty offers a more challenging journey.
Uh easy kind of just makes it more about the story mode, and then you can go through and you can do it that way. So, reduced damage taken for the player, reduced maximum health aggressiveness and overall speed of opponents, extended timing windows for parry and dodge, and reduced the frequency of boss bosses attempting to counterattack or escape when hit, which is kind of cool because those things they warp all over the all over the combat whenever they get hit sometimes. All right. So, normal difficulty, this is nothing's changed here. This is what we've been playing the entire time. All right. Hard mode.
All right. Now, this is where it starts getting It starts ramping up quite a little bit. So, food items affect a food item effects won't be applied immediately and will only take effect after the consumption animation is complete. So, yeah, it's going to be a heal over time instead of a a straight-up heal like it is now, and yeah, that that right there is going to be changing it That that right there makes hard mode harder. So, yeah, just with that little change. But, also they're added a few more. Increased damage taken for the hero, increased maximum health aggressiveness and overall speed of the opponents, replaced timing window for parry and dodge, reduced invincibility duration for roll, added sturdy Oh. Oh.
Now, this right here, this is for the Oh, the inventory and the new chests.
All right. So, they added a sturdy gatherable chest that can be set within the housing system. So, you can put this inside your house. This actually sold at the furniture shops. So, yeah, it has a thousand extra slots. So, you can take that and you can put that in there.
Also, you can get additional ones, the Kuku Cooler Kuku Cooler and the enhanced Kuku Cooler items, which can be placed with the housing system as well.
And then these are obtained through quests. They added uh Well, at least here you'll be treated with dignity. Now, strip naked and get on the probulator. All right. Somebody just subscribed. All right. So, also they set up a few other things. You can now also cook from your coolers. I'm not sure where I saw that. I did see it earlier, but it is wicked cool that you can cook your ingredients without having all of your stuff actually stored inside of there. So, you don't have to carry around so many items in your inventory just for cooking and stuff. That was getting out of hand very quickly, and yeah. Also, they added more stuff for your outfit storage. They added an outfit storage feature to the wardrobe, which can be placed through housing mode. The wardrobe can be purchased at furniture shops, and each wardrobe provides a hundred storage slots, and the total storage capacity increase based on the number of wardrobe slots.
Maximum outfit storage capacity is 1,000 slots, so you can have quite a bit.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it.
I mean, there's so many different items in this game that I really want to explore. They're great.
All right. Also, a few more things. They improved the housing related UI controls. I haven't checked those out yet in game, but I'm very much looking forward to doing it.
Also, they added birds as pets. So, yeah, keep an eye out for those. You can get new companions for birds. They also added new five new cat pets that you can have.
Uh let's see. Uh they did quite a bit more actually. There was a couple different ones that I wanted to point out. Oh, yeah, new weapon, uh the Sword of Starlight, which is obtained through a quest, which is now an exclusive one-hand weapon. They also added two new one-hand weapons that you can get from cutting down trees and bamboo trees. They're just like the ones they had before, the ones that have the limited durability that you can't repair. That's actually kind of cool because those things were a little bit overpowered and kind of broken actually.
But, yeah.
Okay, another one that is really cool here. It seems they added I mean, they added more flavor Kuku flame resistant and ice resistant armor.
Oh, they I mean, it's so that it can be dyed. But, they also made it so where more ores are and wells are accessible across Pywell. So, there's quite a few more of those. That one actually seems kind of cool.
Added uh Where was it? There was one I just wanted to talk about here. I brought you guys back just for this. And yeah, this right here. They added a lock feature that prevents selling or discarding of the selected items. So, now you can lock items in your inventory so you don't accidentally have to sell them. So, you don't have to Whenever you go to a vendor, you don't have to carefully pick and choose what you're selling again anymore. Very very cool.
Also, they added preset features to your keyboard for both keyboard, mouse, and controllers. And here's a couple things on those as well.
All right. Now, here's also another one.
Pretty massive actually. Changed bosses so that they are no longer immune to player attacks while performing powerful attacks.

That right there is such a pain.
Uh let's see. Increased damage taken from elemental status or ailments. Keep an eye out for that.
Uh slightly reduced the damage dealt when hitting enemies with pillars or trees.
Those Those Those shorts are never getting old. I'm just saying. Come on. I mean, that was actually pretty cool. All right. But, yeah, there's quite a few more actually in here. They added the weapon throw usable while dual-wielding and a bunch of other stuff. But, for the most part, that's That That's the big ones. There are a few other extra ones that are added in here. But, yeah. I mean, I hope the um I hope this video helps you out.
