West Bengal Cabinet Expansion: 35 Ministers Set to Be Sworn In at Lok Bhavan

[00:00:00]The West Bengal government will get a full-fledged council of ministers today with at least 35 amlies sworn in as ministers at a ceremony scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Luke Pawan CM. So Wenduadiari said in a postex that Governor Aron Ravi will administer the oath of office and secrecy to at least 35 new ministers at Law. The Bengal CM further stated that the BJP government stands committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of West Bengal. In the meantime, sources say that several prominent leaders including former TMC strongman Arjun Singh, cricketer turned politician Ashoke Dinda, former Rajya Sabha MP Swapandas Gupta and BJP leader and actor Rupa Gangali are likely to be given cabinet rank and Tapas Roy former minister in the Mabani government who later joined the BJP is also expected to find the police in the ministry. Besides, several BJP legislators who retain their seats in the assembly elections are also likely to be inducted. Adhiari who took oath as Bengal's first BJP chief chief chief chief chief chief chief minister on May 9th was sworn in with only five ministers. Then it has been reported that West Bengal council of ministers can accommodate up to 44 ministers.
