Gas is up over a dollar a gallon in Georgia compared to last year

[00:00:00]So, we had a whole Gulf trip planned for this summer. My family and I were excited. The bags were basically already packed mentally.

[00:00:07]And then we looked at what it would actually cost to get there in gas, and we had to have a very different conversation. Gas prices in Georgia are up over a dollar a gallon compared to this time last year. A dollar per gallon. That adds up fast on a long drive. Experts are pointing to two main things. The ongoing conflict with Iran is affecting oil markets, and summer travel demand is picking up at the same time.
