New Details in Celeste Hernandez Case Are Disturbing

[00:00:01]So, Sofa Squad, it is way worse than we thought it was. Even though we knew it was really, really bad. Like, it's even worse than that. Okay. Now, what I'm talking about is the Celeste Hernandez that's the victim of Singer David. Of course, this is alleged. He hasn't been found guilty. Okay. Now, what we're going to do is this. So, I have my phone in front of me. I'm referencing an article. This is by Andrew Dalton. It came out yesterday, April 29th. Today's April 30th and I'm going to talk about the highlights of this of what we found out in the evidentary hearing. I will do a deeper dive on it on my main channel.

I recorded it once and my microphone cut off within the first 30 seconds and it was muted the rest of the time. If you know, you know, this is on brand. So, that being said, my volume is just the phone, you know, me talking and the phone picking it up.

[00:01:29]Now, of course, the case we're talking about, like I said, is Celeste Hernandez. This is the victim. And Senior David is the person who stands accused of doing this to her. Now, one huge thing here in the article is that we learn exactly what went down, how it went down, and how he dismembered her.

[00:01:46]And you know, so we we've learned, of course, that her unalivvening took place by stabbing her multiple times and that he used a chainsaw in his garage to, you know, dispose of the body. Now, let me just skip down here. Whatever.

[00:02:03]Another This isn't shocking at this point, but nonetheless, it's still shocking. Like, we already knew he was a perve, but it says that he met her when she was 11.

[00:02:13]11 and started essaying her when she was 13 and he was 18 at the time and then he took her life when she threatened to reveal the inappropriate relationship.

[00:02:22]Now I'm going to quote here. So quote knowing he had to silence the victim before she ruined his music career as she had threatened very soon after her arrival at his home. Defendant used a knife to unlive the victim multiple times and stood by while she bled out.

[00:02:40]Now here's the thing too. thinking about the music videos and this weird obsession with like that kind of stuff that he has. It's accurate, right? And like we're now like this isn't just like trying to be edgy. This is this is dark stuff here. Okay. Now, of course, it says, you know, he pleaded not guilty, etc., etc. Her body was found, as we know by now, decomposing in that Tesla of his. And prosecutors said they had obtained text messages that showed Celeste and David's inappropriate like you know the essay relationship. Uh and they also found images essay images of her on his phone.

[00:03:21]The mei quote the messages reveal the victim's jealousy over David I'm sorry over a defendant's relationships with other women as the defendant had led her to believe they had a future together.

[00:03:35]This was a grooming process that he did very much over the years. The document continues she became extremely upset and threatened to disclose damaging information about her relationship with the defendant to end his career and destroy his life. End quote. The filing says he rented a ride share car to pick her up on the night of April 23rd, 2025 from her hometown, which is about 80 miles outside of LA. The two exchanged messages until she arrived at his Hollywood home, after which her phone went silent permanently.

[00:04:09]They alleged he sent her a late night message asking where she was in an attempt to cover up the unalivvening.

[00:04:16]Now, there's an evidentary hearing scheduled for May 26 because it was supposed to be tomorrow, but they pushed it out. The document says David bought two chainsaws online and used them to cut apart her body and an inflatable pull in his garage where her DNA was later found. Quote, the defendant took horrifying measures to destroy and discard the victim's body. Prosecutors said in the brief, "David drove to Lake Chu Kachuma in Santa Barbara County about 110 miles northwest of his home to get rid of evidence three times." The document alleges her passport was found there in July. On April 24th, the day after her death, he gave a radio interview and had a record release party promoting his debut fulllength album, Withered, which was released the following day, prosecutors said in the filing. Prosecutors alleged he kept her body in his Tesla and lied to friends and business associates who asked him about the smell. Her remains were so degraded that examiners couldn't even determine her eye color. She had braces at the time of her death and a tattoo of the red sh on the inside of a finger as well as his name. According to the report, two fingers were missing as were parts of her arms and legs.

[00:05:30]Prosecutors had not previously described how they thought that she was unive or given details. The autopsy report says that she was unive by penetrating wounds. Now, the her parents wait so the prosecutors said the parents of Celeste reported her missing from her home in February 2024 and after the February report, the sheriff contacted David, but he told them he had only met her once and didn't know she was a minor. After she returned home, her parents took away her phone, but David drove to her hometown and paid a friend of Celeste $1,000 to give her a phone so that they could communicate.

[00:06:05]She was reported missing again in April of 2024. The document said she spent much of her time at Burk's home in the Hollywood Hills and traveled with him to Las Vegas, London, and Texas to meet his family.

[00:06:18]They defense attorneys asked the court to basically seal this record, but they declined. So then it just goes into stuff that we know like you know about his music career and all that kind of stuff. So here's a couple of things. Now this is one question I want to ask y'all. I want to do it before I like forget or whatever. Okay, so you know how if you follow me like in my coverage of him, I'm like you can't tell me somebody else didn't know. Somebody must have been was supposed to have like gotten rid of the car. You know what I mean? Like he was going on tour. So it's like you get rid of the car, I'm going on tour. Like someone helped him dispose of her body. The way this is reading is it's like oh he was lying to his friends and business associates and he did this and then put her body in the car and blah blah blah blah blah. So this is my question. Number one, the smell that was coming out people. So if he's at the point of having to lie to people about it and them ask like what's the smell from your Tesla and they're saying something?

[00:07:12]No. But that wasn't like a red flag. You see what I'm saying? Like that was not like a red flag to people to be like, "Huh? What?" Like this isn't okay.

[00:07:21]Secondly, do we think at this point that he's so stupid that he literally did this on his own? Just tried to, you know, dispose all that and was like, "Well, I have to go on tour. I'm just going to put her body in the in the trunk and just leave it." I mean, is that what we're dealing with? You see what I'm saying? Secondly, 11 years old.

[00:07:46]You're trying to tell me that nobody thought that that was around that whole situation was like, "What's she doing here?" Right? I don't care if the SEN didn't start till she was 13. What's an 11year-old do like huh? What's a 13-year-old doing here? What's a 15-year-old doing here? Here's the thing, too. Oh, she lied about her age.

[00:08:06]She did that. Okay, I've been looking at the pictures of her. Let's pretend on a good day with makeup and done up maybe she can elevate her age a couple of years. Okay, if that right she looks like a kid is what I'm getting at even this. So pretend at 13 she does her makeup and all this to make her whatever you know be all done up. Okay, we're maybe seeing 15 at that point looks wise.

[00:08:38]This is not passing the barometer. She's so young looking that if a kid like that told me, "Oh, I'm 19." Right?

[00:08:48]Let me see your ID. I don't believe you.

[00:08:51]Right. Period. End of story. And even if that was the case, no. Right. No.

[00:09:00]And again, clearly other people knew she was hanging around. So, are all these friends and stuff like that? Oh, no. We thought she she was li she said she was 19. David said she was 19. Use some common sense. Okay. I've never smelled a dead body like that. You know what I'm saying? I trust people that say you 100%. I've smelled like rotting and like you you say you're out in the woods, you come across like a some kind of dead animal or something.

[00:09:32]Sure. I know that putrid smell. People say the body is worse. So, you're telling me people were able to turn a blind eye to number one, how very obviously young she looks and hanging around this dude. Number two, a rancid smell coming from the car.

[00:09:56]Yeah. If nobody else gets charged in this, which you know, at this point, from what we've seen, it wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't surprise me. It just it wouldn't surprise me. It's a sad state of affairs. I have to say that.

Do you think that he disposed of her body on his own and just like I'm just going to leave in the trunk and hope for the best, right? I mean, is that where we're at with this?
