XRP BREAKDOWN UPDATE🚨 (XRP PRICE PREDICTION & NEWS 2026)

[00:00:03]Good morning everybody. Welcome back to Selenex Crypto. I hope you're all doing great and welcome to this Saturday morning update. And you know, volatility update on XRP this morning because you wouldn't expect it but this Saturday morning we've had quite a lot of volatility, bearish volatility, bearish pressure for XRP specifically. So we'll talk about that.

[00:00:22]We'll talk about what happened with XRP yesterday as well, right? Because yesterday of course the significant price action for XRP really started already with breaking down below 1.47 and with that failing to hold the breakout, right? So I mean that was the big question yesterday after the bullish momentum that we had on Thursday, which in hindsight was just more of a big bull trap, which thankfully I wasn't caught in. But on the other hand, you could have made profit with that as well if you were early, which I also did not, right? So it's it's a bit of a blessing and a curse, but um yesterday fortunately we did foresee already that there was a real risk that we were not going to be able to hold the breakout. Yesterday there were already some scares in the general financial markets. If you look at the volatility index yesterday that rose a bit together with bond yields. So the situation already wasn't amazing in the markets. And then obviously XRP over the course of the afternoon yesterday really pushed down lower into the point of control of the range that we are in because we are still in in a range, right? I mean if you look at this, you'd say, "Wow, that's so aggressive, a lot of selling pressure." And that is certainly true.

[00:01:28]But ultimately if you if you forget this and you just zoom out and and you remain level headed, you can see that XRP is still within the range. But yesterday bearish pressure back to the middle of the range. So with that we had lost the breakout and that means that at the moment XRP is just stable. It's just neutral. And that means two things.

[00:01:48]That means first of all that it's going to be relatively choppy again. The price action over the course of the last week and a half I'd argue has already been quite choppy. Some big moves into the up upside, big moves into the downside. Um the volatility volatility like this will not help, right? Because if you look at the situation for XRP right now, the range is sitting between 1.47 and 1.4.

[00:02:10]Um I would say that it's like with the with the momentum and with the weakness we have seen this morning, I would say it's it's better to be slightly bearish here potentially.

[00:02:20]But then in the on the other hand, we actually do have a lot of gaps into the upside as well, right? Here at at 1.45, 1.46. We have some major fair value gaps. We have them a little bit higher as well.

[00:02:31]Um [snorts] So that makes it and we also have the the previous week VWAP in in 2 days when when when we actually see the week closing there. So I'd say for now when we're when we're talking about XRP, it's best to just focus on critical levels within the range, right?

[00:02:45]So wait for those levels to hit and then wait for the reaction at those levels and then make your actions based on that. I would I would say it's very unlikely when we're talking about where the general market is at the moment. And after the price action that we had from Thursday to Friday, I would say it's very unlikely short-term, but I said the same thing on Wednesday, so take that with a grain of salt. I'd say it's very unlikely we're going to break out right here. It's just not the general direction of the markets and the price action over the course of the last 2 days really hasn't been in favor of of a a move like this.

[00:03:16]Like maybe if we have some sort of a fundamental fundamental catalyst such as peace in the Middle East. I'm I'm just saying something. Like then this is still a possibility, so it is a possibility, but it's not most likely.

[00:03:28]So then so generally I just expect XRP to range here. When we're talking about ranging, the key levels to look at I would say are quite clear. It's to the upside what we just spoke about, right?

[00:03:41]At 1.46. Get a strong rejection there or do something like this and that seems like a potential short opportunity in my eyes.

[00:03:49]We also have the range high a little bit higher, so so that's a a that's an interesting level to look at. And to the downside, our current support is decent at 1.4. And you can also see the funding rates right now are getting negative.

[00:04:00]So, with all the longs closing off this morning, we have actually started to become a little bit over shorted. But when we're really talking about interesting support levels to the downside, I still think 1.38 with the swing low right here with a good reaction could be a buy opportunity. And otherwise, 1.33. Right, 1.33 is by far still the most interesting opportunity.

[00:04:19]If we get some sort of a flush followed by a reclaim of these swing lows, I think that's the best opportunity on XRP personally, right? I I'm not saying you should buy there, but that's what I personally think.

[00:04:30]So, I would just wait for for for for those outer edges of the range that we are in. And we have indications to believe we're going to stay in that range. I would wait for those and make decisions based on how we react there. And obviously, I'll keep you updated on that through the process.
