[00:00:30]Oh my. So, today it's fun project. I think we'll be replacing these tracks and we'll show you um why when we get into the project, but the new one showed up this morning and preparations are beginning for cleaning cleaning. He's supposed to be in a truck right now, but the elevator shut him down. Is that a better job than this job?

[00:00:56]So, here sits the uh new tracks that will be going on in substantially better shape. So, we got to finish up cleaning and then we can uh get it in here and it'll hopefully go better in here than it did the last time when it fell off in the field cuz that wasn't fun at all.

Now, hopefully with the crane, nice hard ground to work with that this don't take too terribly long. But I've been lied to before on a project being easy and that ain't the right size.

[00:04:01]Grease tension. So, you loosen that grease fitting up and it pukes out the grease, releasing some of the pressure or all of the pressure. From my experience, it releases some of the pressure.

[00:04:15]>> I think some >> some and then the the fight can take place. So, instead of a comealong to pull that back, we're just putting tension on the uh track with the crane. And it's working.

[00:08:54]It's just that easy. So, as you can tell, tread's like unbelievable because we're typically not on cement. cement or asphalt is typically what wears the face off. Where skid loader tracks fail from our experience is these cracks right here eventually rip to the outside. How many hours are on this, Dad?

[00:09:20]Oh, I think it was like,400 hours. No, it's getting less. The odome the tachometer is going down instead of up,70 now today.

But we tried one more job with her and that was it. And if you don't catch it and know that they're getting weak, you can roll them off then really easily. They would be perfect for a a spare.

Well, they both were about the same. So, we went to the tighter side cuz likely they're probably going to wear in some without a doubt.

[00:23:29]>> It was one of the first vehicles that came around the farm that you can't drive with the door open, which is super annoying like when hooking up to a trailer. It puts the emergency park brake on, which is electric nowadays, not the the foot lever deal, but it's the same thing. And he calls, >> and where was that where was that button located?

[00:23:49]>> Down by your left knee. And uh he calls me up, I don't know if you're going to get this out of the field. The truck is pulling for all it has. And I'm like, it's I was >> 700 horsepower. There's no way that it can't pull that head trailer. So, I was pulling I I had the door open and I was backing up to the head trailer, I believe, and I wanted to hear cuz I had the extended hitch out and I wanted to hear the hitch click together. Didn't know that the automatic emergency brake gets applied. So, I hear it click together after forcefully backing up because it was already on. Put her in the drive and just It moved. I got it to move.

[00:24:38]But she was >> You are so lucky you didn't pretzel my drive shaft.

[00:24:43]>> It's just not I don't know. It just is all set up as >> you can drive a TRX pulling a head trailer for about 50 yards with >> it. Just takes 3/4 of the throttle to get her to go.

[00:25:00]>> Oh yeah. So, I wasn't too happy about that, actually.

[00:25:05]>> I wasn't happy about the whole situation either.

[00:25:10]>> Yeah. So, I get there and show them.

[00:25:11]Yeah. Here's the park break that you got to turn this on because I had also had this problem with the door opening trying to hook up to stuff. Very poor. I understand the safety feature, but >> No, I don't understand the safety feature.

[00:25:29]It's there to keep you from falling out.

[00:25:32]>> Yeah, you're going to fall out. You You choose to open the door for a reason and drive a little bit. You should be able to do that. You don't need those people that fall out of the door because it's open and they're trying to drive. Let them fall out.

[00:25:50]It'll wean out the gene pool a little bit. Now, I know that's going to get me some hate because there are some terrible stories out there. So, maybe I'm wrong. It could be I'm wrong, Brody.

All right, he's going to bring the planter back in here. We did do more than what uh this video shows we did today. Uh we worked on a the 58T digger pump tires. You guys have seen us do that twice already. I didn't think I needed to share. I had no creative ideas on that project. So it drives. They didn't fall off.

[00:29:27]So it is what it is cuz they're actually steel instead of rubber. Those things have rubber on them right now, but that's gone in like probably the first day. So, yeah, looks good. New rubbers.

[00:29:42]She is ready for spring rock picking season, which if the weather would ever shape up, we could go and do. We're all getting kind of sick of the shop. Be totally honest with you. It's time to get out and do something. Even if it's rock picking, but it's all mud still.
