[00:00:00]If you're a Latina Trump supporter, aka chickens for Chick-fil-A, you do not get to come to God's internet and complain about being racially profiled at Trader Joe's. Because the administration that you voted for and that you support actually went to the Supreme Court and got the Supreme Court to legally allow ICE to racially profile people in order to make arrests or to detain them. So, if your feelings are so hurt from being racially profiled at Trader Joe's, imagine the feelings of the individuals who are being racially profiled by federal agents, arrested, and taken to detention centers. Latinas for Trump are only Latinas when it's convenient for them, when it makes them feel special, when it makes them feel exotic, when they want people to fetishize them. But, when it comes to being in the voting booth, all of a sudden they're not Latina anymore.

You want to speak Spanish when it's convenient for you and it makes you seem exotic and spicy and fiery, but oh, you don't vote in favor to protect the Spanish language and Hispanics. You don't vote to advance and better and or to protect your community. Under Trump's administration, there has been multiple accounts of ICE agents going and arresting and detaining and taking Puerto Ricans to detention centers. Now, she probably wasn't paying attention to the discourse surrounding Bad Bunny when he was performing at the halftime show at the Super Bowl because she was probably too busy watching the Kid Rock show, and I can only make that assumption because this is her following list, and because she turned off her repost and refused to tell people who she voted for and simply just wants to dance around the question. But, during that discourse, it was made very well known that Puerto Ricans are US citizens. Yes, we're US citizens because we are currently being occupied by the United States government. So, when we are born, we are given citizenship status immediately. Yet, what did I say?

[00:01:35]Puerto Ricans are being picked up, arrested, and detained, and taken to detention centers. Why? I wonder why?

[00:01:40]Because ICE is allowed to legally racially profile. They look brown like me. They speak Spanish and they're doing it in public. Maybe they have an accent like my father. Just this past year alone, ICE was sitting by the dozens in vehicles outside of a museum in Humboldt Park, Chicago. Shout out to my birth neighborhood, beautiful Humboldt Park.

[00:01:58]It is the Puerto Rican neighborhood of Chicago, and yet they're sitting outside of a Puerto Rican museum for what?

[00:02:04]Puerto Ricans are US citizens. Because these discriminatory and racial profiling tactics have been legalized, allowed, and normalized under the administration that you supported, the one that you voted for. Therefore, I do not care. I do not want to hear you complain about being racially profiled at a Trader Joe's when federal agents are out here ruining the lives of and racially profiling Latinos and Hispanics all around the country. The leopard finally ate your face, and to that I say good.

[00:02:30]>> The Supreme Court essentially gave ICE and the Trump administration full passage to racially profile the Latin American community in order to detain and apprehend them.

[00:02:45]GAVE ICE THE FULL PASSAGE to simply apprehend someone based off of the language that they speak and the color of their skin.

[00:02:58]Folks, this is THE SAME SUPREME COURT THAT JUST A FEW MONTHS BACK TOLD COLLEGES THAT IT WAS NOT OKAY IN THEIR admissions process to take race into account.

[00:03:10]But it's okay FOR THEM TO TAKE RACE INTO ACCOUNT AS IT RELATES TO ICE and racially profiling.

[00:03:17]This is the state of our country right now.

[00:03:20]This is no different THAN WHAT THE GERMANS WERE DOING to the JEWS IN WORLD WAR II. AND FOLKS, that's not hyperbole.

[00:03:28]That's not fear-mongering. That is the current situation of this nation right now.

[00:03:34]The Supreme Court is compromised.

[00:03:37]Period, point blank. And I am no longer living under this notion that it is not a part of all the other political branches within our government. It's compromised, and God help us all.

[00:04:34]Did your people go through redlining?

[00:04:36]Did your people go through extreme police brutality?

[00:04:42]Did your people march and have to fight for civil rights?

[00:04:47]Did they use y'alls babies as alligator bait?

[00:04:50]Did they have lunch parties and lunch mobs run up in your run up in your in your spot in your little enclave that you built once you got to the United States of America and burn it down to the ground?

[00:05:02]Did you have to hide? Did you have to like go through the underground railroad and hide in little cubby holes in in houses so that you wouldn't get picked up by a lunch mob? Did you get dogs sicked on you? Did you get sprayed down with water hoses?

[00:05:17]Did you get all of your ideas and inventions stolen patent stolen?

[00:05:22]Did you get used for free labor in the United States of America?

[00:05:26]Did Latina women for free have to let little white baby suckle from their bosom while their baby starved at home?

[00:05:37]>> People online are reacting after some Latino Americans opened up about experiencing treatment they see black Americans have been warning about for years.

[00:05:46]Now, emotions are running high as videos and comments spread across social media with many saying they finally understand certain struggles.

[00:05:55]Some are calling it a wake-up call, while others are saying the conversation is long overdue.

[00:06:27]And I don't understand why this isn't national news.

[00:06:31]He was reportedly in his 40s and at the moment police are saying that they're calling it a suicide and that apparently there is no foul play.

[00:06:40]However, the community is asking for a thorough investigation and I believe that we deserve one being that this country has a vast history of racial violence and with this current climate of basically terrorism in Latino communities, it just doesn't feel right that they would immediately suggest that this is suicide being that people don't just hang themselves from trees in broad daylight in public parks like people don't do that. Aurora is actually a largely Latino community.

[00:07:15]So, with all of the, you know, racial targeting right now of ICE raids and people just feeling really comfortable being racist, it absolutely makes sense why the community is demanding a thorough investigation and I believe he and his family and the community deserve that. They deserve a thorough investigation. I don't believe that ruling it a suicide so quickly even makes sense. So, I'm honestly sending prayers TO >> JUSTICE FOR DAVID >> SHOUT OUT TO HARRY. GO FOLLOW HIM. This is horrific. This happened in Massachusetts. A lot of people already know about this.

[00:08:04]It has never been about arresting criminals that are here undocumented.

[00:08:08]This is an attack on Latinos and people of color. This is a young woman. She was with her child, her baby.

[00:08:17]They took it from her and they proceeded to arrest [music] her.

[00:08:20]I'm telling you this is never been about protecting the United States from criminals. As a matter of fact, they are barely arresting criminals.

[00:08:29]The vast majority of people that they're taking away from this country are people who are productive members of society, >> [music] >> mothers, daughters, children's, brothers, people who you know, >> [music] >> people who have done good for this place and they are still sending them away.

[00:08:44]Because it's always about white supremacy reigning supreme. They don't give a [ __ ] about people of color or minorities. They never have and they never will.

[00:08:52]And this is a stark reminder of what's going to happen for the next years.

[00:08:55]>> [music] >> It's simply heartbreaking because we see it more and more again. And all these videos need to be out there and need to be like put out there to create awareness because people need to know what's happening.

[00:09:06]And as content creators on TikTok, I encourage everybody to keep posting [music] them because the more people see the reality of the terrors that people are living out there because of the new Gestapo called ICE, the more we'll be motivated to [music] vote on midterms, if we have them, so that we can get these people out.

[00:09:26]>> You have a girl that got racially profiled. Uh she was going to apply for Trader Joe's. She even tagged Trader Joe's.

[00:09:32]And she's Latina, right? But the first thing that the lady said to her was "You need to speak English." So, she was assuming something like that. She was assuming that she spoke Spanish only and not English. So, she says that she was racially profiled. I look at her reposts and it's something about Lincoln Riley.

[00:09:55]So, I commented, "Did you vote for Trump any chance?"

[00:10:02]And I know it's a bad thing. Nobody should ever racially profile, right? But, if you voted for Trump, you you voted for this.

[00:10:11]Like, what what did what did you expect?

[00:10:15]Am I being a [ __ ] Probably, but I'm [ __ ] pissed. Oh my god, and my skin is peeling cuz it's going through this transformation. Oh my god, I'm so excited.

[00:10:23]And who's going to do it already?

[00:10:24]Who is going Who's doing it?

[00:10:27]>> The 18-year-old Hispanic who was arrested in Florida and ICE tells him he has no rights. That's right. The man's in Florida, gets pulled over.

[00:10:39]He's trying to tell the police and ICE that he's a US citizen.

[00:10:43]ICE looks at this 18-year-old kid, tells him, "You have no rights."

[00:10:50]And it's because the color of his skin.

[00:10:53]The kid is a citizen and they profiled this 18-year-old Hispanic guy.

[00:11:01]So, just because he's Hispanic and that's supposed to automatically mean he's an illegal immigrant. That's not what that means. And for y'all that's saying ICE is doing things >> This story is packing intense debate online. With people asking whether these experiences could finally create more understanding between communities.
