[00:00:00][music] [music] Hello, good day and welcome. I'm Timothab and today I'm going to solve a transformative [music] finale uh by the Thinky Dies team.

[00:00:20]This [music] is a metapuzzle and it is the season finale. Um, puzzle number 61 of season 2, first published May 3rd, 2026.

[00:00:31]The story. The mentor has the final clue. She welcomes our pal, then recites, puzzles not emblematic of the solvers will act as vital info holders.

[00:00:45]All right, let's have a look at the puzzle.

[00:00:54]This is a metapuzzle, which is a puzzle made of other puzzles. To find the solution, you will need to revisit puzzles of the season and look for clues and patterns. Um, in a separate tab, I have um the other puzzles or the the season loaded up. Um, okay. There may be relevant clues in both in and around this puzzle. You can revisit the intro story at any time with the button at the bottom of your screen.

[00:01:22]Um, once you have found the puzzles involved, try to find what they might have in common. The lack of specific rules might be a little scary at first, but you have everything you need to figure it out. Follow your instincts.

[00:01:33]Metapuzzles can be quite tricky, and many people enjoy working together with others to crack them. Well, I am not working with others.

[00:01:41]All right, what do we have? So this is the emblem of the um the solvers. We discovered that in the metapuzzle of last season.

[00:01:58]And we have a sheep.

[00:02:01]And a right side up sheep gives the emblem the right side up.

[00:02:06]And an upside down sheep gives the emblem.

[00:02:12]Well, that's rotated, I guess. Rotated 180 degrees. And that is rotated 180°.

[00:02:19]We have four shields with circles and dots.

[00:02:29]H.

[00:02:32]And we have a tall sheep.

[00:02:36]We have a black sheep.

[00:02:39]We have a half tall sheep.

[00:02:42]And we have a long sheep.

[00:02:49]Interesting.

[00:02:54]H. All right. Let's see.

[00:02:57]Um, let's go there.

[00:03:03]Let's have a look. What have we got?

[00:03:14]Let's have a reminder here.

[00:03:30]This was the one where um that is a to zed with a and zed repeating it would have seemed um were here. Um I'm trying to remember what the deal was with that. Let me go back to this. So we have a circle with a dot, a blank circle, a circle with a dot, a circle with a dot.

[00:04:12]And then the blank circle.

[00:06:25]I have to uh Does that Okay. Um, that's one, two, three, four, five, six. That's 13. That's 14. That's 15. Okay. So after wait 15 what's this? It's a one of something.

[00:07:34]Oh, and look, there's a clue that this is part of the metapuzzle.

[00:07:38]Um, okay. So, well, a apparently I worked out that the A was a circle with a without a dot in it.

[00:08:01]Um, circle, diamond, diamond, star. Circle, diamond, diamond, star. Circle. Circle. Diamond. Star.

[00:08:13]Circle. Circle.

[00:08:17]Diamond.

[00:08:30]Uh in any case, um that would lead to F A FFF if that memory is correct. So, but that means we've done nothing with the sheep. So, I don't think that that can be the right answer.

[00:08:52]So, let's back at this.

[00:09:08]Okay, that to me looks like there's a six from the uh mentor's point of view.

[00:09:25]Um that has been circled.

[00:09:34]Okay.

[00:09:43]Okay. So if this is a sheepy transformation, the rotation gives me um this Then could this be a sheepy transformation? So this is a tall version of that and perhaps slightly narrower.

[00:10:10]And then this is inverted and then this is tall on one side.

[00:10:25]or maybe arguably if we're talking about the sheep's body, it's rotated through 45° and then this has been stretched linear transformations.

[00:10:40]Goodness, that takes me back to my high school math.

[00:10:43]Um, let's have another look here.

[00:10:56]Okay, let's go back.

[00:11:11]Oh, is it going to be in the puzzles themselves rather than in the art?

[00:11:36]For some reason, Choco Banana being a newer puzzle type that feels No, maybe not.

[00:11:54]Okay. So, what am I looking for?

[00:11:58]I am looking for an upwardly stretched one, an inverted one, not quite sure what that is, and a horizontally stretched one.

[00:12:22]All right, let's have a look.

[00:12:27]That doesn't look to give anything. Oh, and I'm also looking for circled numbers that might be related to that. Okay, let's look at the next one.

[00:12:53]Don't think I have anything there.

[00:13:04]That one we just looked at.

[00:13:07]That doesn't look It's probably shading puzzles.

[00:13:16]though it could be well it doesn't have any numbers in No.

[00:13:48]Do I think it's that one?

[00:13:52]Does that have something that looks?

[00:13:59]No.

[00:14:04]No.

[00:14:10]Okay. There's a nice big four, but um that doesn't appear to be a stretched emblem.

[00:14:32]Does that have a stretched emblem in? Doesn't look like it.

[00:14:39]or inverted of course.

[00:15:01]It's interesting. The early puzzles were all not very much in the way of shading.

[00:15:13]Okay. Does that have arguably a stretched emblem? Let me just have a quick another look at the emblem.

[00:15:21]That was this.

[00:15:34]Trying to find what I need to find.

[00:15:44]No, I don't think that's arguably a stretched emblem.

[00:16:05]That was the cafe.

[00:16:08]But not a stretched emblem unless it's in the it's been amazingly few shading puzzles.

[00:16:34]So, it's maybe it's not in the answers, but it's in the puzzle in the artwork cuz we're up to 55 and I haven't found anything yet.

[00:17:08]So, maybe it's the artwork then cuz the shields are the artwork.

[00:17:27]Okay. There's an emblem there, but that appears to be a normal emblem.

[00:17:42]Oh, that's an inverted emblem, is it not?

[00:17:51]Yes.

[00:17:55]And that's a four.

[00:17:57]Okay.

[00:17:59]Right. Okay. So, that that there is suggesting that I've got a four for this symbol.

[00:18:12]Okay.

[00:18:15]Yes, that seems to be accurate.

[00:18:22]There was another one. I remember thinking, "Yes, one near the end was a shaded five.

[00:18:28]What was that?"

[00:18:31]Um, there was one recently that was a shaded five. That was the um cave, I think.

[00:18:54]Okay. Yeah, that's definitely a shaded five.

[00:18:58]But that there looks like a sort of rotated maybe a 45 degree rotated emblem which would map to this one.

[00:19:21]So we have four there and five there.

[00:19:26]All right.

[00:19:41]So now It's that is that the emblem?

[00:20:13]No, it needs to be the right way up.

[00:20:16]The other two that I'm looking for are the right way up. One is stretched vertically and the other is stretched horizontally.

[00:20:38]So two more emblems.

[00:20:48]That looks normal. That stretched horizontally definitely.

[00:21:01]So, what number does do we see there?

[00:21:07]There's a three.

[00:21:15]Yep.

[00:21:16]And all of our numbers need to be between one and five.

[00:21:21]Okay. So, what do we have? Let's go back to here.

[00:21:27]The inverted one was four.

[00:21:34]This one was five.

[00:21:37]This is three.

[00:21:43]So stretched vertically.

[00:21:59]Uh normal It looks normal.

[00:22:26]That was the inverted one.

[00:22:44]That looks normal.

[00:23:00]That looks normal.

[00:23:12]That's the stretched horizontally.

[00:23:22]Where are you?

[00:23:35]Is that stretched vertically?

[00:23:39]Yeah, that could well be.

[00:23:55]Where do I get a number from that?

[00:24:19]Okay.

[00:24:20]So all of these are either one by something or two by something. And if I look at the two by um something areas, I can see a giant four there. It's a different style of four from the other one. But that seems fairly clear to me to be a four.

[00:24:53]And it's a very definite, you know, it's it's all of the two by something um boxes.

[00:25:06]Okay. So, we go back to here.

[00:25:11]So, that was tall. So, that was four.

[00:25:15]inverted was oh now I have to remember so we have four as the first one inverted was also four I think where did I see that one.

[00:25:55]Yes, that would also be a four.

[00:25:59]Oh, that could be that's a different symbol. So, it's not a double letter, right?

[00:26:06]Okay. Four. Four. And then one was a three, one was a five. Which way round was it?

[00:26:17]Uh, the angled one is next.

[00:26:25]Now I need to find it again or horizontally stretched. I remember the horizontally stretched one was the one there.

[00:26:43]So that was the three.

[00:26:45]So it must have been the five [snorts] that was the vertically stretched.

[00:26:53]Sorry, that was that was the uh 45 degree rotated and the five was the cave. Yes. So 4453.

[00:27:07]All right. Now we go back to this one.

[00:27:18]Let's have a look here. So four with circle with a dot.

[00:27:31]That's this letter here.

[00:27:34]uh N O P QR S.

[00:27:40]So S um then four circle without a dot is N.

[00:27:55]And then five with circle with dot.

[00:28:08]That'll be O.

[00:28:11]And then three circle with dot.

[00:28:16]Where are you hiding?

[00:28:23]That's this one.

[00:28:29]WXY Z. So that would be snow.

[00:28:34]And it makes a word.

[00:28:41]But why snow?

[00:28:46]Let's try that.

[00:28:55]Oh. Um, there was a expedition or something. Spot on. Pack some warm clothes and meet me at the Solvers Mountain Outpost. Your apprenticeship project awaits, right? Um, oh my goodness. Got to wait a month. Um, yes. Uh, let me go back to here.

[00:29:22]There was something in was it this one? Embark. Yes, there was the hint about the travel.

[00:29:36]Okay. And the snow was a hint about the destination.

[00:29:40]Okay. So, um, that's a very nice puzzle.

[00:29:46]Um, and yes, um, all the clues were there.

[00:30:00]Um, but goodness, could I not find what I was looking for? I So, I was looking for the, um, uh, emblem as solutions.

[00:30:13]Um, and it was the emblems in the um, intro artwork that was the important point.

[00:30:23]Um, but once I had spotted the inverted one and that that very clearly gave me a number, that told me I was on the right track finally. So, in any case, um, this has been a fantastic season.

[00:30:39]We've got a month or so to wait till next season. Um, and uh, it is entirely possible that there will be some intermission puzzles um, that come to your um, email box. Um, there were between the last two seasons. Um, but uh, guess we will have to wait and find out on that.
