Atheist Visits A Mosque To Film — What Happened? 🤔Added:
Can I ask why or is that a bit disrespectful to ask why? Not for mosque.
Yeah, any people if you want you can come. Ah, really? I said don't make video. I got a camera. Why do I need to delete it? Why you want to delete the video for? Time you coming is wrong. You know why? Why? Cuz it's a Friday. Yeah.
And the lady come this side. Taxi driver. Taxi driver.
>> Mostly the ones who are all taxi drivers.
>> [music] >> Welcome back to the channel, guys. So, today we are in Doncaster and we are taking a look at the Doncaster Jamia Masjid Mosque. I hope I'm pronouncing that right. So, guys, the the mosque is just right here. Um I did have a few questions I would have liked to ask them.
But, if we don't get to speak to one, then that's perfectly fine, really, isn't it?
But, I just noticed that straight off the bat.
Don't know if you can see it on my camera, but it says uh ladies entrance. So, one of my questions was do men and women pray together?
Um but with something like that, maybe they don't, honestly. Maybe uh maybe they do pray in separate separate rooms because why do they have separate um separate entrances?
I have a picture of this.
All right, mate.
Um I've just had to do a bit of photography.
Do you know who I'd speak to about that?
Yeah, you need to speak to the management, mate. Do you know who that where they are?
Regarding what you are doing for?
>> Um photography. Do you know like with a drone and and like cameras and all that kind of stuff.
Just bear with me. I need to speak >> Yeah, it's all right. I'll just crack on, but I'll be out here if you need to speak to someone.
>> Somebody's going to come and you can ask them.
>> Thank you, mate.
So, yeah, obviously I don't want to interrupt what they're doing in there, but I mean, given it being a mosque, I mean, they probably wouldn't appreciate a drone buzzing over for no for no reason or without anybody warning. So, they do have something else on here. What is it?
Little Wonders Early Years.
Don't know. That sounds like a a nursery, maybe.
Or like a a little a little person youth club.
Don't know. I've not really got the best signal right now, so I can't even Google it, but it does seem like a nursery or something like that. I'll put it in the video what it actually is.
Um I'm not sure. I just need to speak to someone who works here.
What about it? Um about um just documenting the site, recording the building and everything. You got the video? Yeah. What inside? Um out- outside. So, I've got a drone in my bag and camera equipment.
>> want to delete the video for? Um just cuz I like vid- recording stuff. I just I'm into that kind of stuff.
I'll see if there's anyone outside and I'll let you know, yeah? Yeah. Thank you, mate.
You got a camera? I got Yes, two cameras. Why you Two. Why you looking Um I just want to make a little video on the place, but I wanted to speak to someone, but no one's come out to speak to me. What you want? Um just to ask if I can if I can take my photos and videos and all that kind of stuff. What for you take video for? Um I just like recording things, really. So, I mean, I'd like to ask some questions about um the the mosque if that's like something All right.
Really?
What is it's only for prayer people here, you know? Yeah, I was going to ask a few questions like how many times do you pray a day here?
>> Five days. Five times a day? Yeah. Is that every single day?
>> Every day, yeah. Do you never miss? No, no never Never miss. That's really good.
That's good.
Um also, do do women pray together if that's okay to ask?
The door says That's on the other side.
>> No, no, this is the big building. Ah, yeah.
Oh.
You got that? Muslim? Pardon? You Muslim? Um I've not really thought about it, really. I'm not really thought about it, so I'm not I'm not really anything, but I'm not against anything. Just keep walking. You don't say anybody. That's okay.
>> Yeah.
Is it all right if the drone goes over?
Is it okay if the drone goes over?
Outside? The drone. What?
Do you know a drone?
With a camera on top.
This thing.
You can do it outside. From from outside I can fly it around.
Can I fly it over here, though? You have to put from stay outside.
>> Stay outside with it. Yeah, that's okay.
Thanks very much, mate. Cheers.
So, yeah, it was it was very nice, to be fair. He just said to stay outside.
Don't don't come inside.
And then you can fly your drone over.
And then over here they've got got loads of food.
All right, my friend. Are you delivering to the the mosque? Yeah.
Awesome. You okay?
Why you take picture?
Um I'm just recording the mosque, making a little video about it. So, I'm just I noticed this is all here, so I was wondering if you was taking it to them.
Is that all right? What you take video Of what?
I said don't make video.
I I only only of this. It's not of you.
It's just of the things. I was wondering if that's where it's getting delivered to.
Pardon? I said no make.
Is that where it's going, though? To the All right, awesome. Thank you.
I don't know what what was wrong with him, then.
I told you don't make video. I know. I'm I'm I'm just I was just having a little look.
All right, I'm sorry.
What you did?
Pardon? Delete I said. No. Why? Cuz I don't need to.
Why do I need to delete it? Why you make it? It's only food.
No, but why you make it? Pardon? Why you make it?
Just cuz I like taking videos and pictures.
No good.
I told you no make.
>> [snorts] >> I don't like Tik Tok something.
You don't like Tik Tok? Yeah.
Why?
Just Do you not watch Tik Tok?
Do you not watch Tik Tok? No. So, I'm not sure what this is if it's like a delivery to the mosque and then they just come and help themselves. I'm not sure. You all right, mate. What what is this? Do does these they Say again.
>> What mean? Which one? This one? Yeah, do do does this get delivered to the mosque and you just can just grab whatever you want? How does it work?
No, no, no, sorry. I know how do you how do how how does this work if you get what I mean? How does this work? Like the food.
>> What this is company, yeah. Company give yeah give the car this one.
>> Ah, so this is all for the mosque. Yeah, yeah. Ah, right. No, not for mosque.
Yeah, any people if you want you can come. Ah, really? Yeah. So, anybody can Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Anybody come here. This is proper from company, not from >> Ah, so I thought this was just for all the mosque. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can get it.
>> No, not for mosque. You can Yeah. Yeah, I get what you mean, anybody. Yeah, that's really good, that.
>> but Really, really good. Yeah.
How often >> only Not for only mosque. He can go door-to-door service. Yeah, oh. Yes.
Yeah, if you want you can come.
Just spend money. You you can buy everything.
>> So, the so the company pays for the whole truck and then just gives it.
That's really good.
>> Yeah, he's just a selling because this is a you work for this company? No, no, no, I'm not working.
You're you're just here.
>> I come on my mosque. Ah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, this is guy from company. This work is for Yeah, I get you now. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, this is not for this driver. Yeah.
How often do you Sorry? How often do you come to the mosque? Do you do you ever miss a prayer?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, pray. Do you do you ever miss one or is it always five times a day?
No, sometimes we miss Sometimes you miss it. Okay.
Yeah, but you always try Yeah, we try to do Yeah. Yeah, five full. Yeah, it's good. It's really good. Thank you very much.
See you later, mate.
Joy.
So, yeah, it seems like um obviously there's a some sort of um language barrier because I'm not the the best at understanding people even with different accents, let alone different country accents. So, um it seems like from what I got from it, it seemed like the com- companies buy this truck and then they give it out, but it it seemed like I could just go over there and take an orange, but I think he meant like you just pay the company to give it out to people. So, basically the mosque is paid for all this food and then anybody visiting the mosque can go and get the food. But, I'm not actually sure because once again, it was kind of hard to understand him.
You all right, mate. Do you do you do you pray here? Yes. Can I I'm allowed to ask you one question?
>> Yes. Um can non-Muslims visit here or is it do you have to be of that religion?
Like say you're you don't believe in any God and you want to come here to learn, is that something that could happen? Is that is that fine, yeah?
>> come, yeah.
Awesome.
>> and ask management. You can come and no problem, mate. Yeah? No, I I I was just coming around. I wanted a few questions to ask. No problem, mate. Yeah? For everybody, mate.
>> For everyone, that's awesome.
>> Yeah? Just come ask some manager here.
We sort out for you, mate. No problem, mate. Yeah?
Very, very nice.
>> All family there. All family. All family. Absolutely lovely to me. One thing one thing.
I noticed there's a women's on the back and men's on the front.
>> Yeah. Is anything else done separate or is it just the praying? No, separate.
Everything? Yeah. Everything? Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, that's very interesting. Thanks very much, mate.
Cheers, my friend. Thank you.
Just just recording building.
Just recording.
The church and mosque, sorry.
Just just making a video on it. So, I'm trying to speak to the people who visit the mosque and get their side of things and just have conversations with them.
I've already taken the the drone over the mosque to get some images of it, you know.
So.
No one. I'm just just just myself, so.
Why?
Yeah.
Oh, the ladies come this side, yeah.
Yeah.
So, this side's about to be right. No, I will expect that. I didn't I didn't know that, mate. Sorry. I knew this was a lady's side, but I didn't know it was bad that I was on the sides. I apologize for that.
Yeah, I just wanted to ask a few questions like cuz I had a few questions like if you if you're non-Muslim, can you come down here and learn about it or Yeah, this bad time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
next time Yeah.
Yeah.
I know. That's what I mean.
I like to be respectful, but I wanted to try and speak to you guys. I want to like get I want to have conversations with you and I like questions and all that kind of stuff, really. 7:00 Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Also, can I just ask one question before I go? Do you know that there's women on the back and men on the front? What else is done separately or is it just praying?
Everything else is done normally. Yeah.
Can I ask why or is that a bit disrespectful to ask why?
Or is that just is that just really Yeah. Fair enough.
Awesome. And that food truck, sorry.
Sorry. That food truck. Yeah. What what is that? You've Have you purchased that and like Oh, he just comes to sell it.
Right.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Right.
So, that's just his company, just Awesome. Thank you very much, mate. Have a good day.
Thank you very much, my friends. Cheers.
All right, mate.
How's it going?
Who are you?
Yeah, like so not like what are you security here?
You just stand out. You look like security.
You're like bodyguards or something.
Hopefully we won't need them. No. No, of course not. Don't reckon you will. So, what are you doing here? Just just praying?
Oh.
Very nice. Very nice. So, I I come down.
I wanted to ask a few questions, but I've pretty much got all my questions from speaking to some people like I took my drone over, so.
Yeah. Yeah. I've already I've already done the flight like I did it before all these people came here like So, you'll be able to find it on Facebook if you're on Facebook or anything.
TR Drones So, you'll be able to see drone footage of of your mosque and it'll look really nice.
No, but I travel all over.
No, any sites. This is the the second religious site I've done. I usually just go to like industrial estates and This is the first religious place I've done.
Yeah, I just come and have a little chat with the people who who come and pray, get a few questions sorted. Cuz I was curious like They pray five times a day, don't they?
Is is there something happen if you miss that or is it not that serious if you get me?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. It's fair enough. That isn't it?
No, I've not really thought about it, honestly. I've not had time to think about it, so I'm not against any religion or for any religion.
Not really, no. No. That's probably why I've not had time to think about it and all that kind of stuff, really.
Yeah.
But, I am open to hearing both sides, both religions, all religions like I like to hear people's perspective on on life, basically, and on their religion and everything.
All religions Yeah, no. I meant I meant all of them, yeah.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah, there is. Um There was another one. Which one was it called?
No, is there?
Is it nice one? There was one. Where is this one at?
Is it, yeah?
Where is this one gone?
Come on. Where is it at?
Yeah, it's another mosque. It's another mosque.
It's It's around up here somewhere and it's got like a nice green dome on the top.
Have you seen that one?
Is that different? In what way?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, is that called something different than ones?
Real of is Real of is Yeah.
Never heard that.
just slightly slightly different Slightly different, but morally like basically.
Yeah. What what do you What do you call you guys?
Sunni Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Really good. Also, nothing. Were you born Muslim or converted? At what age can I ask?
At school. But, yeah. How old are you now if you don't mind me asking? 40 I was going to say I was going to say you're you're definitely security.
You should You should be. What what do you do for your job?
Taxi driver Now, you're in the wrong job, you know.
You'd be good for security.
I reckon so. I wouldn't want to try and sneak past you.
Well, no. As long as you're Do you like your taxi job?
Really?
Good. It's really good.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's not It doesn't always go to plan like I don't have too many where bad stuff happened because I'm really good at diffusing situations and calming people down, but I've still been attacked a couple of times and yeah. So, if you go on to my YouTube channel, TR Drones, you'll be able to see my old videos of all the stuff that's happened, basically.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
They come what?
Oh, yeah. I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, there's there's quite a lot of them that do it, but a lot of them kind of ruin it for themselves like they all they all like try and trigger people on purpose and then call them out when they've reacted, but DJ Audits is one of the good ones who doesn't provoke people. He just does what he's doing.
Yeah, I don't really watch too much of him.
Yeah. What what's going on with him right now? I'm not Oh, yeah. I've seen.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, I've not really watched him too much, so I can't really comment, but when I do see people doing this kind of stuff like provoking people, it's just like Yeah, it's legal, but it's like what are you doing?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like like we've shown right now. If you just speak, we can have a nice conversation. If you don't even want to speak to it, it's fair enough. Just walk away, innit?
No, I've honestly had really nice conversations with people around here, honestly. No one's given me any dirty looks or anything. They're all very happy.
vehicle no. It's in my bag. I walked I walked from the train station. So, it's not too far. Well, why are you going back on train then? Um I will now, yeah, cuz I need to go now, but >> But you don't drive or No, don't drive, unfortunately. You've got a bike? I do, but I broke down the other week. With the electric bike? No, push bike.
>> Push bike?
>> Yeah. Just get some miles on that then.
I really do, yeah.
What?
I don't I I don't have a car and I go out almost every day on my bike. 2 hours cycling. It's It's horrible. I even need to get a car or an electric bike, really.
>> Yeah, and them peddle assist ones are quite good.
>> Yeah, they are good, aren't they?
>> a bit cheaper than electric bikes. I wouldn't risk it. Too many people will see you and try and take it. Oh, like the the really fast one. I won't do that. The the peddle assist ones I'd get.
>> all right then. I think it cuts out at 15 mph, so it's not dangerous. No one's going to really All right. The electric ones, they're dangerous themselves, but you're just inviting trouble. Yeah.
>> I've seen it myself. People they'll knock into you with the car. Yeah, I've seen some things with them as well, yeah.
It's not a good way. Well, anyway, man, I'm going to I'm going to crack on, mate. Thanks very much for being nice. See you later, man.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> It's honestly quite a nice mosque.
