Trump THREATENS to seize Iran’s Kharg Island

[00:00:00]The oil and stock markets also moving in the right direction as the White House and Iran come closer to a deal. Right now, markets remain higher after a blowout day on Wall Street. Yesterday, the Dow did rise 923 points. The S&P increased by 127. Nasdaq jumped 640 points.

[00:00:19]>> Stock markets up 1,000 points. That means they like the deal. You see, that means they like it. The market goes down, it means they don't like the deal.

[00:00:27]>> Oil prices have also plummeted to their lowest levels in months. Right now, a barrel of crude sitting around $86 a barrel. It's down about $102 from this time last month. President Trump also said the agreement would at least temporarily pause his plans to take control of Kharg Island, which is Iran's largest oil export terminal and economic lifeline.

[00:00:55]Great. Look at Venezuela, how well that's worked out. We paid for that war many times over.

[00:01:00]And uh many, many times over. We have millions of barrels of oil from Venezuela going to Houston. Venezuela's been amazing. This is a larger situation.

[00:01:11]>> And the US military has also been able to keep oil flowing in the Strait of Hormuz despite Iran trying to shut it down. Earlier this week, President Trump highlighted a US operation last month which allowed for more than 100 million barrels from the region to hit the open oil market.
