The mini manuring blower is an integrated, lightweight, and ergonomic solution designed to address the challenges of manual fertilization in hilly plantation areas. This innovation allows workers to carry up to 25 kg of fertilizer, significantly reducing physical strain, fatigue, and musculoskeletal problems while improving mobility and efficiency in difficult terrain. The system is constructed from recyclable materials, making it both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. By replacing traditional manual fertilization methods, this technology enhances worker well-being, reduces operational costs, minimizes fertilizer wastage, and supports sustainable plantation management practices.

LCC503 BUSINESS PITCHING - MINI MANURING BLOWERHinzugefügt:
Hello everyone. Today we gather not merely to watch but to celebrate ideas, patient and the spirits of excellence together. Before I begin, I would like all of you to imagine an old pump plantation located on a steep, uneven and scattered areas far from the main office.
Imagine workers carrying heavy fertilizer sex under the hot sun while continuously bending for hours just to fertilize one section of the plantation.
Now let me ask you a question. How can plantation workers efficiently fertilize thousand of hectors in hilly terrains without risking their health and productivity? The answer is simple. By fertilizing more efficiently with better tools and smarter techniques. Today we should stop relying entirely on traditional manual fertilization and start utilizing modern tools and integrated system that allow fertilization to be done more accurately, safely and effectively. As quoted by Bill Gates, investing in tomorrow's technology today is more critical than ever. Even a small deviation in fertilizing practice on large scale of oil competition can result in major financial loss and reduce crop yield. One real example can be seen in Jaguar plantation located between Bao and Lundu where workers face major difficulties carrying out fertilizing activities due to hilly and scattered terrain. My name is Maxilia Anamura and as an administrative assistant at Sulra, I have gained valuable exposure to plantation operations and field management challenges through direct observation and brainstorming session.
One recurring issues that stood out clearly was the difficulty of fertilizing in hilly plantation areas.
This is not only an operational issues but also workers welfare issues that affects productivity, efficiency and long-term sustainability.
Fertilization is one of the most important argicultural practice in ensuring maximum growth and productivity of all palm trees. However, in most plantation today, fertilization is still applied manually. Workers are required to carry huge fertilizer sets across difficult terrain. Spread fertilizer using bowls and continuously bend while fertilizing. According to the food and agricultural organization, physically demanding agricultural work can contribute to fatigue, reduce efficiency and muscularkeeletal problems among workers. Jagu Pal estate itself is located approximately 45 minutes between Bau and Lundu and covers around 3,161 hectares across multiple phases of land.
Due to its uneven and hilly terrain, fertilizing activities become extremely challenging and time consuming.
Therefore, today I would like to introduce an innovative and revolutionary solution known as the mini manuring blower. The mini manuring blower is an integrated solution that combines operational equipment with an efficient, accurate and sustainable fertilizing system for plantation. This innovation is specially designed to improve fertilizing efficiency by reducing the physical burden faced by the plantation workers.
Currently, plantation face several major challenges. Firstly, workers are forced to fertilize crop in difficult hilly terrain which requires significant physical effort. Secondly, workers are often overworked due to repetitive manual labors such as carrying heavy fertilizer sex and continuously bending.
Most importantly, these activities expose workers to health risks such as fatigue, muscle strain, and lower back pain. As a result, operational cost become higher. Plantation productivity decrease, fertilizer wastage increase.
Research shows that inefficient fertilization practice increase production cost and reduce crop yield.
Furthermore, physically demanding work reduce worker efficiency and overall performance.
To address these issues, our group developed an integrated innovation called the mini manuring blower. This compact blower is designed with ergonomics and efficiency as the main consideration to assist plantation workers during fertilizing activities.
The mini mannering blower offers several important features. Firstly, it is lightweight and economically designed which helps reduce operator fatigue during operation. Secondly, it is capable of carrying up to 25 kg of fertilizer allowing workers to complete more task while reducing repetition in fertilizing activities. Thirdly, the blower improve workers mobility in difficult terrain making it highly suitable for hilly and uneven plantation areas such as jaguat. In addition, the system improves safety and efficiency by reducing access excessive bending and minimizing physical strain, allowing workers to perform better quality work with less fatigue. Another unique aspect of this innovation is that it is built using recyclable materials, making it is not only practical and affordable, but also environmental friendly.
In conclusion, the mini manuring blower is not simply an upgrade, but a major improvement over traditional fertilizing techniques. This innovation improve efficiency, reduce operational cost, enhance worker well-being and support sustainability in plantation management.
So let me leave you with this question.
Is it time to stop working like it is still 1950 and start moving towards a smarter safer plantation system? Because true innovation is not merely about technology. It is about making work easier, safer and more efficient. That's all from me. Thank you for watching.
