The Bulb Zone is a unique underwater biome on planet 4546b characterized by high temperatures from lava geysers and a distinctive bulb bush ecosystem where plants have evolved complex root systems that raise them above sand, allowing herbivores to graze while fragments dislodge and grow into new bushes; this interconnected root network supports the population and creates nutrient-rich sands that host other species like the rare sea crown, while also supporting electric eel predators that use 42 prongs to generate electrical currents for hunting and defense, and superheated volcanic caves reaching 70Β°C that provide habitat for specialized creatures like the I eye, which is 90% eyeball and relies entirely on vision for survival.

The Bulb Zone: The Light show from Below.Added:
Pinched between the crash zone and the mountains is a biome with three large lava geysers and it's covered with a unique type of flora who has evolved to survive in the high temperatures.
This is the bulb zone. And the biome has been named after these large purple lumpy bushes with blue glowing spheres.
The bulb bush will not grow close to the sand. Instead using its complex root system to raise it up allowing herbivores to graze.
While this might seem counterintuitive, [music] this is exactly what the bulb bush wants.
When a herbivore grazes on the roots, fragments will dislodge each with its own ability to grow [music] into a bulb bush itself.
The largest of the bulb bushes are centuries old and its complex root system will reach out and connect to others in the area feeding the weaker bushes keeping the overall population of the bulb bushes in the area healthy and creating an extensive root system underneath the sand.
These nutrient-rich sands support the growth of multiple other plant life including the rare sea crown.
This biome is also perfect for one of the more shocking creatures of Planet.
Accompanied by the crackling of electricity popping throughout the water, these huge serpentine-like amp eels prefer the deeper darker habitats of the bulb zone where they are free to hunt and aggressively pursue anything it deems to be food or a threat. Situated with 42 prongs along its body, they can generate an electrical current at will causing arcs to bounce between them.
Once a constant field has been generated, it will throw its body into the target delivering a highly charged shock stunning and in cases of smaller victims killing its prey. They have a large muscular jaw with sharp teeth to chew through some of the tougher hides of its usual food sources. This could be offensively used if they find themselves facing a target as its bite can be just as dangerous. If the amp eel is not feeling threatened, it will pulse a single arc from front to rear. This is more than enough to deter the larger creatures of the planet who would leave them alone opting for a less dangerous meal. Amp eels will lay their eggs close to their usual habitats and the eggs appear to have four electric prongs on each end but are incapable of producing this electrical field.
The volcanic activity of this biome has caused the formation of superheated caves reaching up to 70Β° C at their hottest. Too hot for human exploration without protection.
But perfect for the I eyes and the shadow bugs.
Believed to be a distant evolutionary relative of the peepers, the I eye is 90% eyeball.
This eyeball is the only form of [music] defense the I eye has as its fins are too underdeveloped to support fast movement.
It is extremely dependent on using its eye to spot would-be predators long before they spot it.
The I eye is a herbivorous species but with no discernable mouth, it is unknown how it consumes its plant life.
The bulb zone borders the ecological dead zone called locally known as the void.
But on its connection with the mountain biome, there is a large sinkhole stretching down almost 600 m below sea level. This is the entrance to a biome devoid of all sunlight, the lost river.
