It ended the war, but it also meant Mexico lost more than 55% of its land, including California, Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of Texas.

Today, American farmers upstream still drain water Mexico has legal rights to. They call it water management, but what do you call it when someone redraws a line in water and then pretends it never moved? They didn't just steal the land, they stole the river. And they're still stealing it.
