[00:00:10]But first, these children, and then the Bible, and I'm going to tie it all together.

[00:00:27]What did you think when your father told you that God presented himself in the hospital?

[00:00:39]>> I don't know that's true.

[00:00:41]>> You don't know if it's true?

[00:00:47]>> I know >> it was. What did you think, Mario?

[00:01:04]I'm so happy that God presented himself and saved me in many ways and is still carrying me and healing me.

[00:01:15]Yesterday I went to the cardiologist and one of the scariest nights that I had in the hospital. The first time I was hospitalized in March was when I went a meaning I had a serious heart issue. My heart was beating at 140 BPM instead of the normal rate which is 100 or below.

[00:01:43]The rapid response team came to my room.

[00:01:47]There were so many people there. They had to give me heart medication. They had to give me oxygen. It was late at night. My mom wasn't with me. That's the night that I thought, am I going to die?

[00:02:02]But I didn't. Yay.

[00:02:06]And yesterday, I went to see the cardiologist.

[00:02:10]The cardiologist performed an EKG on me and also told me two very important things.

[00:02:19]First, he believes the reason I went a because of this aerosol treatment that I had been given. And I had been given that I think cuz I don't know, it's all a blur. I think I was given the aerosol treatment because I was having trouble breathing.

[00:02:39]and he thinks that that may have contributed to the aphib, which is a really dangerous thing. Going aphib in your heart can lead to a heart attack or stroke or something else unsavory.

[00:02:56]But the really good news is that the doctor, the cardiologist told me yesterday that I can be off of all heart medication. I was only taking one aero Aeromaterol, something like that.

[00:03:12]Aeromaterol.

[00:03:13]So, I just want to be off as many medications as possible. Thankfully, I'm off of that one. And thankfully, I'm alive.

[00:03:21]>> Yay.

[00:03:23]>> And I'm in love with my children, my mother, and God. And I'm reading the Bible every day. You don't have to go to church to be connected to God. Reading the Bible I find very helpful and I thought we would read some of it together.

[00:03:44]>> Yes.

[00:03:45]>> Okay.

[00:03:46]>> Because I was reading this morning and this made me think of you all.

[00:03:52]>> Okay.

[00:03:53]>> Listen up.

[00:03:55]All right. We are in Genesis chapter 27 starting at the very beginning.

[00:04:04]So when Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau, his elder son, and said to him, "My son." And he answered him, "Here I am." He said, "See here now. I am old.

[00:04:32]I don't know when I may die.

[00:04:36]So now I pray you take your weapons, your quiver, and your bow, and go out into the open country, and hunt game for me. And prepare me appetizing meat such as I love, and bring it to me that I may eat of it, to giving you my blessing before I die.

[00:05:05]Wow. There's so much here in just these four verses that I want to dissect.

[00:05:14]First, it's important to take care of your elders.

[00:05:20]Just like I take care of your grandmother when I'm even older than I already am, you have to take care of me. It's in the Bible.

[00:05:34]>> The Bible says it. Okay, >> you have to take care of me. And actually, they already have been taking care of me.

[00:05:42]>> They've been very helpful while I've been sick, giving me this, bringing me that. So, thank you. Keep up the good work.

[00:05:52]Now, Isaac, he had a lot to give his firstborn son, Esau, and he was excited to do that.

[00:06:05]I'm not like Isaac.

[00:06:08]I want you all to know, and I'm not even jo I'm not joking.

[00:06:13]In the future, I don't want to have a house. I want to live in an apartment.

[00:06:19]And I want to use the money that I make from selling the house in the future to travel, to get massages, to do whatever I want.

[00:06:33]So, I tell you all the time, it's really important to work hard and pay attention in school because when I'm not alive anymore, I'm not leaving you guys anything.

[00:06:47]>> Okay. I'm so serious.

[00:06:51]>> I worked so hard my entire life and I want to enjoy everything. And it's not like I have Isaac money to leave you guys. I don't. Um, but whatever I do have, I want to enjoy. And I got everything that I did by working hard.

[00:07:11]And I know that if the three of you work hard, work very hard, that you can more than fend for yourselves.

[00:07:22]>> Okay?

[00:07:24]And then things in Genesis chapter 27 get really messy because Isaac's wife favors one of her other sons and not the one that Isaac wanted to give his blessing to. So then Rebecca was unamed as they say in Spanish. She she was meddling.

[00:07:49]And I want you all to know that there are three of you.

[00:07:54]But I do have a favorite amongst the three of you.

[00:08:00]>> My favorite is whichever one of you three behaves best that day.

[00:08:08]So that means that every single day, >> one of you could be my favorite, but you have to behave really well.

[00:08:23]And then I finished reading chapter 27 of Genesis and the end is very foreoding.

[00:08:32]>> But what happens?

[00:08:34]>> It's not really an end. It's more of a to be continued. And I don't want to continue it right now because it's going to be dark. And I'm feeling the light.

[00:08:46]I'm feeling bright. I'm feeling good.

[00:08:52]>> So, I am enjoying reading the Bible.

[00:08:59]I am enjoying sharing it with my fram and I'm enjoying this new found knowing that God is real.

[00:09:11]I wish I would have known this earlier in life >> since you were a kid.

[00:09:17]>> I didn't. However, I just want to say two things before I wrap up. One, this is my truth. I know this to be real that God exists.

[00:09:33]But you all don't have to believe that.

[00:09:36]You can believe whatever you want. But I know what I experienced in the hospital and God is real. And secondly, I love you each so much and I will always love you and be here to guide you even if I'm not going to give you money.

[00:09:58]>> But you're your own individuals and responsible for your own futures.

[00:10:05]The decisions that you make even as early as now in elementary and middle school will affect the rest of your life. So, as they say, choose wisely.

[00:10:31]And I love Teddy.

[00:10:34]Even though he's not here.

[00:10:47]That's where Teddy used to lay in my office. And that's this adorable painting of Teddy behind it. And yeah, I'm going to be that person after my mom physically is no longer here.

[00:11:02]I'm gonna keep her room the way it was.

[00:11:05]I'm gonna keep all her clothes. I'm gonna keep everything until I have to get rid of it. But hopefully I don't have to get rid of it. Anyways, I ended in a really weird place.

[00:11:23]But I'm so happy my kids were off from school today. They had yesterday and today off. That's why they joined me for today's video.

[00:11:35]And I'm doing my best with them. And I'm doing my best with God. And I'm doing my best with life and work and everything else.

[00:11:51]I'm so relieved that all of my heart tests and everything came back normal.

[00:11:59]The doctor had given me another test in the hospital which he didn't give me the results for until yesterday and then my EKG result yesterday. Anyways, things are good. I'm so excited for the future.
