[00:00:13]I got a real interesting conversation starter here, you know, and I think it's perfectly timed, as probably a lot of you guys know, Professor Gad Sad just recently released his book titled Suicidal Empathy. Well, you know, it's a concept that we've been talking about for a very long time. I think it's probably one of the forefront concepts that really explains left-wing thought.

[00:00:32]You know, when you lead with empathy so much to the extent that it offers free reign to bad actors and then that backfires in your damn face. We see examples of this endlessly. I think the Somali issue for instance in Minnesota is probably one of the clearest and most recent significant and relevant examples. Well, anyways, we've got a tweet here from Asmin Gold. I'm sure you guys know who he is and it's going viral all over social media. It sparked an intense conversation. The left once again has their panties in a knot, their pearl clutching. But fundamentally, I believe Asmin Gold is right. But not only right, but I think actually morally righteous as well, which is interesting because the left is kind of framing his take here as somehow evil and terrifying. Like I said, I got a real interesting conversation starter. Let me show you guys. We got some stuff to get into. So, let's roll the tape. All right, folks. So, we've got a post here from Flint Dibble. I'd also like to point the very relevant fact that Flint Dibble here is wearing a fedora. very very relevant fact indeed. But anyways, Mr. Flint posted this screenshot of a post from Asminold, otherwise known as Zach on X. He says, "There is a very easy solution for this. Bring in the National Guard, round all of them up, and put them in forced labor camps.

[00:01:38]Shoot the ones who are violent and attack police. Done. You can literally solve this problem overnight, but we choose to allow these animals to run wild." Elon Musk then responded and said 100%. Flynn Dibble then responds saying, "The increasing popularity of this sort of rhetoric should terrify everyone."

[00:01:54]And now, of course, if you're an emotionally susceptible NPC who cannot think, you're going to see something like this and instantly be convinced that Asmin Gold, oh boy, that guy, he's an outofcontrol, farright, despicable scum Nazi. That's obviously the angle here. And it's very easy to fall into that trap because it sounds extreme, right? But you got to notice the trick that's being played here. He posted that reply with absolutely no context whatsoever. You know, I think if we're going to do the take justice, the absolute first thing that you have to do is understand the context. Asmin Gold was responding to this video.

[00:02:37]Yeah, we're not done yet, but that alone should add a little bit more context. I want to then add in Asmin Gold's response to the initial post here that went a little bit viral. He says, "Ader people are tired of living under the anarco tyranny that has been deliberately engineered across America.

[00:02:50]Criminals and crazies terrorize the public with impunity because of your performative morality. We don't have to live like this." Pick is what my post was discussing. Flint Dibble then responds saying, "People don't belong in labor camps." Which frankly, I think is just a virtue signal. You know, we have people in prison right now who have to do labor for the state. That's technically a labor camp, right? What's the argument? that people don't belong in prison or that people who have committed serious horrific felonies somehow deserve a free ride for the rest of their life should be put to no punishment. They owe society nothing in return or just to pay $50,000 a year or whatever it costs to keep them in prison and expect nothing in return for their crimes against humanity. You know, I think asoldold characterized it perfectly when he said performative morality. That's exactly what it is.

[00:03:33]It's a massive virtue signal. But let's continue the conversation here. Asminold then responds saying, "Why not?" He says, "Oh, why not? You ever seen a labor camp? It's inhumane. Well, does it necessarily have to be? Not necessarily.

[00:03:44]It can be very humane. You know, again, there's a lot of prisoners who do organized labor. Flint Dibble says, "You advocate to treat humans like livestock." Pathetic and disgusting rhetoric. When did Asmin Gold ever suggest treating human beings like livestock? You're ill if you think large groups of people belong in labor camps.

[00:04:00]It's a trash opinion. Calling something a trash opinion does not make it so. And frankly, if you ask me, there are many people who absolutely belong in prison and should be doing labor. There's many people who we currently live with in society, not to mention the millions of people who are already incarcerated. The number currently sits at 1.9 million.

[00:04:21]Well, those people are in fact in prison and many of them do labor for the state or for the country. Are you arguing that these people should be let back on the streets or again that they should just get a taxpayer funded free ride? an absurd oversimplification, just a massive virtue signal argument. You're wrong because you're wrong. You're wrong because m inhumane. You're wrong because, well, let me totally miscatategorize your argument and basically suggest that you're trying to bring back Ashwitz. Totally not what he's saying. But Asold then responds saying, "The only thing that's inhumane is allowing animals like this to terrorize the public and hurt more innocent people. Empathy for evil, apathy for the average person. If not a labor camp, what's your solution for dealing with violent, destructive criminals?" Then again, we've got a really highbrow response from Flint Dibble, who thinks himself just I mean, an unimpeachable genius. He says, "I have no problem with prosecuting criminals. What about criminals doing labor in prisons? Any answer for that?"

[00:05:12]Yeah, probably not. Your inhumane labor camp solution has been tried and rejected as the evil filth that it is.

[00:05:18]Again, literally going on across the world. Can certainly be done in evil manners, but the notion itself, not necessarily just objective evil filth.

[00:05:26]quote, "Your attitudes belong in the trash bin of history, but you rejoice at bringing more violence. You're pathetic." Again, not an argument. Your argument belongs in the trash. It's not a refute of what he actually said. Not to mention, this guy clearly refuses to even frame the argument properly in the first place. He's arguing with what appears to be the boogeyman ghost of Asmin Gold that isn't even in the room.

[00:05:47]But, you know, I think this is the perfect kind of example. It shows the contrast between two different groups of thinking. the people who lead with endless empathy and those who choose to use their empathy more selectively where it actually applies. You know, I think the question here is who deserves the empathy? Is it the criminal? Is it the people lighting fires and driving recklessly in the street with assault rifles, engaging in illegal gang activity, the violent criminals who make some neighborhoods impossible to live in? Are those the people who really deserve our empathy? At the end of the day, it comes to standards. It comes to what are you willing to accept? And while the situation is for many of us, we are not willing to accept living alongside people who are a clear danger to society. And that in my view is a very valid opinion. It's a very valid stance. I have tons of empathy. I got tons of emotion. I'm a grown man. I've shed tears. I have emotion. I feel I love people. But probably more importantly, I love to help people. I love to be there for people. I love to give my time to other people and take care of people. But you know what?

[00:06:45]There's always a caveat and a distinction. people who I feel deserve it. You know who I don't feel empathy for? Criminals, murderers, violent extremists. Again, piggybacking on what Asmin Gold said, "Empathy for evil and apathy for the average person." Well, that's exactly what it is. Empathy for the criminal, empathy for bad actors comes at a cost for regular people. We see it in the justice system all the time, right? These horrific, violent, psychopathic freaking criminals charged with the most heinous of crimes let back onto the streets given a second chance only to murder someone again. You got to apply some nuance to the conversation.

[00:07:20]What Asmin Gold is suggesting here. What he was saying in his initial tweet is that we are done. We are fed up. You know, at some point there has to be a crackdown. Look what's happening in Southside Chicago for instance. They call it Shyra. Countless people are shot every single week. Shot and killed. I mean, brutal murders, just death as far as the eye can see. Well, that's the result of empathy for criminals. Empathy for antisocial people who bring nothing to society except for pain, misery, anguish, violence, bloodshed. It would be inhumane to tackle that issue and to bring order to the streets. No, it's inhumane in my view to not do that. That comes at the cost of law-abiding people, of the good people, of the people who deserve protection, the people who deserve your empathy. And obviously, that was the point. Now clearly I think it was made a little bit aggressively and maybe a little bit hyperbolic but you know I think the Asmin Gold take was closer to moral righteousness than anything we saw from Mr. Fedora there.

[00:08:13]What we saw from Mr. Fedora frankly I think can be categorized as cowardice as vapid virtue signaling and clearly manipulative and disingenuous starting right from the very start where he posted a screenshot of the post instead of retweeting it purposefully admitting the context and then well we kind of address the rest. It's a very interesting conversation. I think frankly it's the conversation of this era. You know, how much more will we take? How much more cartel violence, gang bloodshed? How many more burning of buildings and riots and street takeovers? How much more political violence and terrorism are we willing to accept until enough is enough? For me personally, I have more of a utilitarian view. I think people should be given a couple shots and that's pretty much it.

[00:08:53]If you prove that you are a violent person, a person who cannot conform to basic societal norms, you should absolutely be removed from said society without hesitation. You should be criminally charged to the fullest extent of the law. The sentencing guidelines for most crimes should probably be increased. Throw these people away, swallow the damn key, and yes, in fact, make them pay their dues back to society. That's not inhumane. That to me is a particular form of justice. Some people would say I'm evil, but again, I think endless empathy for true evil.
