Apart from that, Sena UBT has now issued a show cause notice to six of its MPs. The further the show cause notice after the rebel MPs skipped [music] the party meet. Remember, we're talking about six out of its nine Lok Sabha MPs who skipped the crucial party meet, who defied [music] the whip, and they did not attend the party meet. Apart from that, the the the UBT camp has now issued a show cause notice. There's also been security which has [music] been strengthened of the rebel MPs so far.
And the show cause notice after rebels skipped [music] the party meet. Apart from that, Uddhav Thackeray camp has issued a seven-day show cause notice.
[music] And they've also written to the speaker Om Birla asking >> [music] >> the speaker not to adhere to the demands of the rebel UBT [music] MPs so far.
Remember, six out of nine rebel UBT MPs have skipped the party meet. [music] They have defied the whip, and they say that they do not align with the ideology of the UBT [music] Shiv Sena. They want to now join the Shinde camp. It does seem like a deja vu for the Shiv [music] Sena UBT so far. As we speak, the the rebel MPs [music] were flown out of Maharashtra. They were here in Delhi.
They met the speaker Om Birla. They've written a letter seeking [music] a separation from UBT Shiv Sena.
I'm going to go across to Tejashri for [music] more on this. Tejashri, a fast-development moving story. Show cause notice issued by the UBT camp against the rebel MPs. Security has also been tightened for the rebels. Apart from that, they've also been flown out of Delhi to Rajasthan. How crucial are the next few days and can we perhaps say that operation tiger is in full swing?
>> Well, absolutely you can say that Reshma that operation tiger is in full swing now keeping in mind that all these six rebel MPs from Shiv Sena UBT have skipped the parliamentary meeting today scheduled at 11:00 p.m. Where only three Lok Sabha MPs of Shiv Sena UBT attended that meeting. Anil Desai, Bajpai, and Arvind Sawant. All these three MPs from Lok Sabha were present. Sanjay Raut was from Rajya Sabha. But important to note over here is that the six rebel MPs have been issued the show cause notice now because they were not present in the meeting and they will have to reply within one week. Apart from that, Sanjay Raut has also very strongly in a very in very strong words have hit out at them calling them as Gaddars. As of now, all these six MPs until night the Shiv Sena UBT were trying to retain them, but it doesn't seems like the deal was successful with Shiv Sena UBT and it is a big win for Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena right now.
>> But absolutely they should be tracked this story very closely. They of course have written a letter to speaker Om Birla and they want a separation from [music] UBT Shiv Sena. Uh let's now staying on with this story, let's now tell you all the top developments when it comes to if a Sena split 2.0 is loading. First up, Uddhav faction leader and MP Sanjay Raut made a big claim saying that the rebel MPs were offered 10 crore rupees to switch sides. He also added that the rebels were secretly taken to Rajasthan from where they flew to Delhi. [music] Sources told NDTV that the situation between Uddhav faction and rebels worsen after Sanjay Raut hurled abuses at them during a live briefing. And the MPs allegedly further distanced from Sena UBT leadership after the video went [music] viral.
Amidst the turmoil in Sena UBT, security of rebel MP's have been stepped up in Shirdi. MP Bhausaheb Wakchaure's residence is being monitored [music] through round-the-clock police deployment and CCTV surveillance. Uh meanwhile, in Dharashiv, security has been tightened at UBT rebel MP Omraje Nimbalkar's residence and [music] office. All this after they skipped that very crucial UBT Sena meet today.
>> [music] >> Sources also tell NDTV that six rebel MP's of the Thackeray faction may register this separate [music] parliamentary faction in the coming days. Parbhani MP Sanjay Jadhav could be made the leader of this new group.
NDTV has accessed inside details of the late-night rebels and Shinde conversation on call. [music] Sources say that Eknath Shinde told the MP's that they have his full support amid Operation Tiger. The call lasted 35 [music] minutes.
Well, staying on with this story, it is perhaps a big setback for Uddhav Thackeray which is loading as Operation Tiger is in full swing in Maharashtra.
As for sources, all six rebel Shiv Sena UBT MP's met the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla. They then submitted a letter to the Lok Sabha speaker. They are also slated to meet Eknath Shinde. That is on June 20th. All this at a time when six of the nine Lok Sabha MP's of UBT Shiv Sena want to now join hands with Eknath Shinde. In the letter given to the speaker, they have mentioned that they want to leave the party because senior leaders want to merge UBT with Congress.
Apart from that, Arvind Sawant, Rajan Baburao Vajay, and Anil Desai, they were the only three MPs who were present at the meeting called by Uddhav Thackeray.
While six other MPs remained absent.
Uddhav Sena has now taken action against the rebels. They have issued a show cause notice the show cause notice of 7 days about the whereabouts of these rebel MPs after they skipped the parliamentary meet which was all set to take place today at 11:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, the security cover outside two rebels' residences has also been tightened in Maharashtra.
>> listening accessible accessible Shabdo Sanso Paisa This is the thing >> All right, my colleague Sajada has been tracking the story very closely now joining me live from Mumbai. Sajada, operation tiger in full swing in Maharashtra. Six of the UBT Sena rebel MPs have now written a letter to speaker Om Birla. There's also been an action issued by the Thakre camp. They want they wish to issue cause notice. What perhaps can be expect? How crucial is the next 24 to 48 hours?
>> We'll just start with this notice that has been issued by Shiv Sena UBT to the six rebel MPs. It is a clear message and an unequivocal message that insubordination will not be tolerated within the faction. As far as we know that these six rebel MPs, they have submitted a letter to the speaker Om Birla and have asked to form their separate group and Sanjay Jadhav is likely to head as the group of they are that will be registered very soon. But also we know that this is this is strong message by the Shiv Sena UBT as well that any MP who just leaves will also face the consequences because of which first a mandatory whip was issued and thereafter while six of them were absent, there is a straight away letter that has been issued especially to Sanjay Dina Patil because because till the very last moment he was very clear that he's not going to leave Shiv Sena UBT even while speaking to us on NDTV he stated that there are no chances of him leaving the party but thereafter we know that his mobile went switched off and then he did not even attend the meeting today and now currently it is being told that he is in Mumbai soon to either meet Mr. Eknath Shinde and thereafter join him in the foundation of celebrations that will be held at the Nesquik in Goregaon. So, there are several of these actions that the Shiv Sena UBT has initiated to ensure that the that they could make a comeback, but we don't see that happening anytime soon.
>> Absolutely, and the rebels have cited an ideological shift within the UBT Shiv Sena for this decision. But, thanks, Sujata. We'll be tracking that very closely with you.
>> [music] >> Well, it's the season of splits and rebellion. Just hours after UP Minister and SBSP Chief Omra OP Rajbhar, pardon me, made sensational claims that SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav has allegedly submitted a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah and that the party is headed for a split.
Now, UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has doubled down. He claimed that as many as 25 to 26 Samajwadi Party MPs are now ready to break away. But, he added that the BJP is not behind engineering this split within the Samajwadi Party. Reacting to all these comments, uh the SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP of always attempting to break parties.
Amidst all of this, OP Rajbhar once again hit out at Akhilesh Yadav, warning him that his uncles have decided to finish him off and that the ground beneath his feet is about to shift. Take a listen.
>> Only good show DJ.
>> Well, it's the season of splits and rebellion. Let's now take you through all the splits within the regional parties which has taken place in the past few months. First up, of course, it's the Shiv Sena split 2.0. Six of its nine Lok Sabha MPs have skipped the important meeting of the UBT Shiv Sena faction. Now, [clears throat] six UBT MPs are now all set to join the Eknath Shinde camp. It's like deja vu for UBT Shiv Sena at this point of time. The rebel MPs have already written to speaker Om Birla and they want to now make a separate faction. This was all that's happening about operation tiger in Maharashtra. Moving on to West Bengal, the TMC exodus, where of course 20 rebel TMC MPs, they broke away from Didi and her party. The rebel MPs, that's one faction of the rebel MPs, they want to join they have rather joined NCPI, a regional party. The TMC rebel camp has also been split in two.
One is of course led by Rita Bratya Banerjee. Like I said, the second faction of the TMC camp is led by Ritabrata Banerjee and when we talk about the strategy of the TMC rebel camp, there is no one single strategy because the camp has been divided into two factions. Moving on to the Aam Aadmi Party, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha resigned from AAP a month ago. Chadha was then joined by six other Rajya Sabha MPs who joined him and this was of course the biggest parliamentary breakaway in Aam Aadmi Party so far.
Moving on to Uttar Pradesh, let's talk about the Samajwadi Party split. In the latest, KP Maurya just today said that 25 to 26 MPs are all set to rebel from Akhilesh Yadav's party. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav has time and again dismissed the split buzz. Rajbhar, yesterday he was the one who took out that tweet and said, OP Rajbhar you're talking about where he said that SP split is inevitable.
Talking about NCP now, Ajit Pawar rebelled against uncle and supremo Sharad Pawar. Then Ajit joined the BJP Shiv Sena government and Ajit Pawar took oath as the deputy chief minister. The party split into Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar factions. Hence this is a lowdown of all the splits and rebellion when it comes to the regional parties here in India.
Here's some breaking news right now.

>> Today at Apple Park >> Apple is warning that rapidly rising costs of memory and storage components could force the company to increase prices [music] across its products, including future iPhones.
>> [music] >> In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Apple CEO Tim Cook admitted that the company has been trying to absorb rising costs to protect customers, but said the situation is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain. At the heart of the problem is a global shortage of memory chips. As AI companies race to build massive data centers, chip manufacturers are prioritizing high-bandwidth memory used in AI servers over memory components typically used in smartphones and consumer electronics.
>> [music] >> The timing is critical for Apple.
Reports suggest the upcoming iPhone 18 series could feature 12 GB of RAM, a major jump from 8 GB currently available in most iPhones.
Storage costs could rise from $13 to more than $50. Combined with manufacturing expenses, [music] the cost of building an iPhone 18 Pro could increase by nearly 25%, [music] number of probably $200.
While Apple says it is exploring ways to support memory supply [music] through investments, Tim Cook has ruled out one option, manufacturing memory chips itself.
