[00:00:30]Coming from someone that has been a Drake fan for years, I can be honest and say that I didn't like Ice Man. You should take my opinion with a grain of salt because I personally do not like rapping Drake. I like Drake when he is in his feelings singing. I feel like Ice Man, the entire album is really just targeted to him trying to clap back at Kendrick Lamar and a bunch of other people that turned on him during that moment in time. That's my opinion and I personally I'm not a fan of it. I'm not a fan of that body of work. However, I am a fan of the Dancing album. That reminds me of the one album I remember cuz everybody hated it, but I loved it.

Now, as far as the third album, I haven't listened to it just yet. I'm still in the process of finishing the second album. That's just my thoughts as of right now. We both have been so busy working on different projects and so we really have not had the time to see each other. Although I don't really know much about the concrete boys, I think I'm still going to go because at least I get to hang out with my bestie. You know, sometimes you have to go do things, not because you thoroughly enjoy them, but because those are the things that your friends have interest in. I know you do it for me. There most definitely been times when I wanted to go do some cutesy girly stuff. And you know, that's not really his stilo, but he's been just based off the strength of that's what friends do. We're going to head to that tonight. I don't know what I'm going to wear.

[00:06:25]Mind you, a lot of the people that are complaining and being very nasty are grown adults. It's actually a bit concerning to see how grown women are so harsh on someone so young. Honestly, every time I see somebody going against her, it really makes me like her so much more because if you grew up in my hometown, then you definitely know I had it hard growing up. I had so many older women that were very nasty and mean towards me as far as the things that I would wear. Mind you, the things that they would talk about were the things that made me authentically myself, the things that I thoroughly enjoyed at the age of 16, 17, and 18. That's one of the reasons why I pushed her so hard because when I was that age and I was experiencing a bunch of older mean women, it did make me feel a bit emotional. But one thing about it and two things for sure, I always say this, I don't have any hard feelings towards people from my hometown that were really mean because they prepared me for greatness. I wholeheartedly believe if I did not experience what it was like to be talked about for being authentically myself for absolutely no reason, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm telling you, first they call your authenticity crazy. And then the exact same people that said your authenticity was weird and talked about it are the same people that dropped your swag. That's how it goes. Mark my words, in about one to two years, Trim is going to surpass a lot of your guys' faves that have been in the industry for years and years on end.

[00:08:04]Hopefully, they're able to take care of this today because for one, I drove all the way out here. For two, I couldn't find the option online to be able to book an appointment, which most DMVs are based upon appointment only, at least from my experience of living in Witchah.

So, since the car came from out of town, I have to go to the highway patrol office to get a VIN inspection. I assume it's they inspect the vehicle to make sure that it's up to the Kansas standard regulations. And then from there, once the vehicle is thoroughly inspected and it's been approved that it is road safe for the state of Kansas, I can sign the paperwork there. They'll fax it over to the car dealer and we're good to go.

I'm going to head to my local FedEx and get that taken care of immediately because I definitely have been prolonging the process. Got that taken care of. I got to go drop that paperwork off, but our weekend's about to start. We're one step closer. We are having a little bit of a dilemma. Do you see my eye? Do you see how these areas are a little bit more redder than others? That is because I am in the process of an allergic reaction. So, I decided I was going to take a strong leap of faith out on trying catfish today. Now, the thing is I very much am allergic to seafood. I've been allergic to seafood for a very long time. Over the course of time, I had assumed that I just automatically grown out of the allergy because when it comes to shellfish, I'm good. But now, I was like, "Okay, you know what? I'm going to try catfish because a lot of people close to me love catfish and it looks really good." So, I was like, "Okay, cool. Sorry. I'm I'm trying to stop scratching, but it's it's not easy."

[00:12:04]I had assumed that I had completely outgrown the idea of being allergic to seafood, but clearly I'm very much wrong because I got some catfish. Mind you, I tore that piece of catfish up. If I could show you guys, I would because it's like night and day. I ate the catfish. Everything was great. But then as time started to go on, I started to realize that my throat was itching. Then my tongue started to feel itchy as well.

[00:12:35]Now I'm starting to get hives. And then you also see that my eye up under here is now swollen.

[00:12:47]So I think what I'm going to do is hi boo. This upcoming week, I'm gonna go get an allergy test because at this point, I don't know if I'm allergic to seafood as a whole or if I'm just allergic to gill fish or am I allergic to the batter when it comes to fish being fried. I don't know. I took some benadryil. I'm getting ready to take a nap because I feel like death. This is me officially 1 hour postallergic reaction.

[00:13:20]All right, it is a few hours later and I feel a little better. For the most part, I feel okay. I don't feel as bad as I did earlier. Earlier, I felt like death.

[00:13:31]I have to get an allergy test this upcoming week. Like, I need to know what it is exactly that I am having an allergic reaction to. You can be allergic to shellfish and not be allergic to gilfish. It's so many different varieties of fish. So, it's something that I really need to get to the bottom of. In the meantime, I'm glad that I'm feeling okay. And I will say catfish is good. Like, I see why y'all be chowing down on it. It was so good.

[00:14:20]Anyways, I sat you guys down because a few days ago, I did go and buy myself a new MacBook and I'm so excited because I have been needing a new MacBook for one.

[00:14:32]The MacBook that I currently have, I've had it for about almost 10 years. 2028 will be 10 years. So, as right now it's about at 8 and every now and then I'll notice that I have a little bit of lagging. So, I'm like, you know what? I'm going just go ahead I'm going just go ahead and get a MacBook Neo because for one, it's only like $600 comparing it to the average price of a MacBook. So, it's like, okay, if you don't like it, you're not really taking that much of a loss. I'm excited.

Initially, right off the packaging, you see that the Neo is significantly thicker than the average MacBook, whether it's the Air or the Pro. This one is a lot more sturdier than the other two. One thing that I will say is that I was surprised that the Neo came with the adapter and the cord because typically with most Apple devices nowadays, you're not getting a box. You're only getting the cord. It's literally so clean and it's so sleek.

[00:16:42]My immediate reaction was to take Benadryil. Took Benadryil. Why did I take that benadryil? And I was out till 5:30 this morning. Mind you, I took the Benadryil yesterday around 4:30. So, here we are now. It's the next day and we're up and moving. Like, we're back to regular schedule programming. I'm currently bleaching the knots on one of my wigs. I'm very indecisive on what I want my next hairstyle to be. I'm getting my hair done this week. Part of me wants braids and then the other part of me wants a sleek, no baby hair wig.

[00:17:12]Either way, whatever hairstyle I get, I'm trying to aim for hairstyles that will protect my leave out so that I'm not damaging it. We're either doing braids or a wig. I like for my knots to be over bleached because typically when the knots are bleached, when you look at the color of them, depending on the quality of hair, cuz sometimes the knots be turning red. I've had some companies send me some hair and I knew it wasn't no good stuff because when I went to bleach the knots, they would turn auburn like that red color. If you have a good quality of frontal, typically the knots will turn that goldish color. This actually is my first time buying hair from this company. We going to see how good quality this hair is. But this ain't no paid promo, boo. This is something I spent my own money on.

Then I need to go to Home Depot because I need to get some sandbags to go in the trunk of my car. And I think that's it. That's all I need to do as of right now. Knowing me, things most definitely can come up. I really wouldn't put it past me. Oh, I knew it was something else I wanted to do. I also want to go back by Aloe because I went to their pre-opening, which was a few days ago. I believe they officially opened yesterday to the public. However, when I was there, I bought these gray straight leg pants. I literally love the way they hug my curves and I have to get another pair.

However, I was watching a few other people's videos that did end up going yesterday when they opened it up to the public and they had some black ones. I need to head out to Aloe to go look and see if they have those because I want another pair. I'm so mad that they weren't out on display when I went the first go around because I would have literally gotten both. I made a TikTok a few days ago when I did end up going and one of y'all had commented and said, "You're going to love those gray pants.

[00:21:38]Sometimes I fast throughout the day and I don't even notice it because I will go without eating breakfast and I'll get so far off into my day that I don't even realize that I haven't ate breakfast or even lunch sometimes. I got two tacos and I get my meat and sauces all on the side because I like to get hard shell tacos. And with the hard shell tacos, I've noticed that when I get my sauces and meat on top, it makes my tacos soggy by the time I get ready to eat them. I got sour cream, vinegrett, and hot. The gag is we mix all of them together.

[00:22:12]As far as the proportions, we have about 3/4 of the way sour cream. And then for the rest, we're not even going to do a full 1/4 of the hot. We're just going to split the last fourth into half between the hot and vinegrett.

[00:22:28]And I do this because I don't like the vinegrett by itself, but I do love the taste of it when I mix it with the hot sauce. It gives it that sweet and savory taste while also you have the sour cream diluting that sweetness just a little bit.

[00:23:01]These days, it's very rare that I will ever crave Chipotle only because I feel like the quality has gotten so inconsistent. And this has come from someone who used to eat Chipotle all the time. So, my craving for it comes in little spurts. When you eat something so consistently, you have a set expectation. And unfortunately with Chipotle, it just got to a point where it just was missing the mark. So the only way for me to thoroughly enjoy it is to just have it every now and then so that I'm not disappointed because my expectations are not that high anymore.

Anyways, I want to show you guys everything that I got from Aloe because I have made not one but two trips to their store. Mind you, they have only been open to the public for about 72 hours. I believe I didn't get that much. I feel like these bags are a bit overdramatic because I didn't need these big old bags, but it's okay. It's fine. I'll take it. So, for starters, this is still water. I've never had it, but we're going to try it out together. I want you guys to feel like you guys were experiencing Alo for the first time, just like I was. Okay.

[00:27:28]Nothing special about it. It literally just has the name Aloe on it. So then the first day I got these boot cut pants. You guys seen me wear these earlier in the vlog. These are super stinking cute. I'm really curious to know what's the inseam on these because they're not too long and they're not too short, which is something I don't find so often within companies. Their boot cuts typically flood on me. Okay, so actually I was wrong. See, this is exactly what you fact check. The inseam is 32. For double extra small, extra small, and small, the inseam is 32. And then for medium and large, the inseam is 33. I got these in an extra small. They fit so well. They snatched my body. I absolutely love those pants, which is exactly why I ended up going back and getting more the next day. But to continue on from what exactly I got that day, I also got this zip up.

[00:28:24]I just love this material and I really love that Aloe is tall girl friendly. If you guys have any athleisure brands that you guys really like and you feel like they are tall girl inclusive, please lead me in the right direction because a lot of companies, they are not doing it.

[00:28:38]It's always a lot of flooding. I don't want to flow with my pants. I don't want to have to wear my pants overly low because the inseams aren't long enough.

[00:28:45]I don't want to have to go online to have to order the longer version of the pants because you guys don't carry the longer version in the store. I don't have time for that. Like, I don't. So, Aloe, they really managed to come through because I was not expecting to spend any money up in there, but I did.

[00:28:59]I had been telling myself that I was going to wait until the aloe release because I knew the aloe was coming to Kansas City, but I just did not know as of when. I knew it was going to be in spring, but there was no official date that was listed until a few days prior of them opening. The way that it all happened was I was on the plaza cuz I went to go buy a new MacBook. And it just so happened that that same day they had a somewhat private event. We had a RSVP. I was not on the RSVP list because I how can I RSVP for something that I don't know nothing about? I ended up getting online to see if there was any way I could possibly get in before everybody else comes within the next few days. I was able to go online, click on a few buttons, and I was able to get in.

[00:29:42]And I'm really glad that I was on the plaza that day because if I wouldn't have been, I probably would have missed the grand opening for sure. I should have got all my shopping done the first day, but I didn't want to splurge on a bunch of clothes and then have a moment of regret after. So, I was like, you know what? I'm going to buy one set now and then if I really like it that much, I'll go back and I'll order more. I found so much more than what I was planning on going in there for.

[00:30:06]Nonetheless, back to the haul. I ended up getting this headband as well. It was so cute and I just had to have it. It's the perfect headband for me to have to go to the gym or even to just pair with my set. Let's say I got a wig on and I don't feel like touching up the front. I just want to throw something on and go.

[00:30:21]Throw that headband on and I still look like I'm put together. That was it for day one. Then we have day two, which I ended up getting three items as well.

[00:30:30]They just put it in a bigger bag. The first item I got was this zip-up.

[00:30:35]Zip-ups have been my thing lately. I've been loving them. I'm sure you guys seen in my last vlog or Yeah, I'm sure if you seen my last vlog, then you know that I had on the Hollister zip-up. That's my thing right now. I ended up getting the black one because you can absolutely never go wrong with black and it overall just looks so clean. The quality is thick. This is going to be a perfect staple piece for fall. Then I got the same thing but in gray. I really love the silver finishes on them. I think that's so cute. And I was actually talking with my friends. I was telling her I hope that they do kind of like a limited release like Lulu did as far as with the gold emblems because it would definitely eat down. I will be going back to make that purchase. I got this one in a double X small. These crew necks do run big. This one is in a small because I wanted a larger fit. And then the last thing that I got were another pair of those straight leg pants.
