As you may know, she has been going through several lawsuits and also several lawyers within the past 6 months. This update is important because Nicki has now replaced her legal team. So, we'll talk about that and then I'll get into two more updates that have come out since then. So, it says in the Temar Peak versus Nicki Minaj / Pink Personality Incorporated and Pedro Velasquez, the defense team for Nicki Minaj and Pink Personality has expanded.

[00:01:03]Two new filings dated May 18th, 2026 show that Peter T. Shapiro and Ariadne Panagopoulou of Lewis Brisbois, Bisgaard and Smith LLP have formally appeared on their behalf in the Southern District of New York. Here is the accompanying court documents. Please take notice that Ariadne Panagopoulou, Esquire of Lewis Brisbois, Bisgaard and Smith LLP hereby appears as counsel for defendants Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, aka Nicki Minaj and Pink Personality Incorporated and requests that all papers be served upon her and all communications herein be directed to her. Now, this law firm is located in New York City and Nicki's previous lawyers were also located in New York City as well. Here's another notice of appearance because you might remember that it's now two lawyers from the same law firm representing Nicki. Please take notice that Peter T. Shapiro, Esquire, of the law firm hereby appears as counsel for defendants Onika Tanya Maraj Petty, aka Nicki Minaj, and Pink Personality, and requests that all papers be served upon him and all communications herein be directed to him. So, once again, this law firm is headquartered in New York. Let me tell you right now. Of course, with Nicki's recent political moves, a lot of speculation about who these lawyers are and how did Nicki find them? And what's their experience? [00:03:35]Remember that one of the lawsuits for Nicki is from a previous law firm. So, in the matter of GR SM LLC versus Nicki Minaj, the court has rejected the Nicki Minaj default request again, and this time it's labeled a second notice. So, that basically means that they tried to serve her with a lawsuit before it got rejected. They tried to enter or request for a default judgment against against Nicki for lack of response to the lawsuit. The judge rejected the first default request, and now the judge is also rejecting the second request. A new Los Angeles Superior Court notice of rejection dated May 18th, 2026 says the request for entry of default {slash} clerk's judgment was rejected because of the POS-010 proof of service for Nicki Minaj is still defective. The clerk's reason is blunt. Service on another individual is not personal service. The notice says that kind of service is actually substituted service, which means the plaintiff must comply with California Code of Civil Procedure 415.20.

[00:04:47]The court made the same point before, but this filing now identifies it as a second notice. So, to be honest with you, you should be like, "Bro, this is a whole law firm. Like, they should know the rules, right? Like, you if even if you make mistakes, you shouldn't be making mistakes a second time, especially as a law firm. Like, y'all are supposed to know how to do this." I see some people are wondering if these lawyers are in any way affiliated with MAGA because there was really no reason for Jud Bernstein, one of Nicki's previous lawyers, to stop working with her. He really listed no reason, like, "Oh, not like she didn't pay or couldn't pay." And so, I'm just wondering why if these lawyers could be affil- inside of the MAGA world. But, once again, we're we're going to get into it on Patreon, okay? So, as I'm getting ready to record this, another update has came out. Let's go. Once again, shout out to Documentings, okay? So, with the same law firm, GRSM LLP, who is suing Nicki, has obtained a clerk's default against Harajuku Barbie Music LLC in the Nicki Minaj case, even while the service fight over Onika Maraj herself continues.

[00:05:59]Let's pause. So, in a lot of these lawsuits, it's important to read and pay attention because in the lawsuits, Nicki is listed as a defendant. So, they're suing Onika Tanya Maraj Petty, which is an individual, but they're also suing Harajuku Barbie Music LLC, which is the business structure, one of the business structures around Nicki. And so, in the matters of corporate lit- litigation, you can't just get a default judgment against the individual. You have to go after the business structure, which is the LLC, which is why after their first and second failed attempts, now they're seeing some success on the law firm who is trying to get a default against Nicki. A request for entry of default filed May 19th in Gordon Rees Scully LLP versus Onika Maraj {slash} Harajuku Barbie Music case shows the clerk entered default the same day against Harajuku Barbie Music LLC. The form visible on page one reflects the clerk's notation that default was entered on 5/19/2026.

[00:07:07]The request specifically targets Harajuku Barbie Music LLC and not Nicki Minaj. The filing says a copy of the default request was mailed on May 19th to both Onika Maraj {fee} C/O Patricia O at the New York address and Harajuku Barbie Music LLC C/O Marcella Ortega at a West Hollywood address. So, look, Onika Maraj has a New York address on file, but the LLC has a West Hollywood address on file. That matters because the court had just rejected the default request against Onika Maraj again as I just explained saying service on another individual was not personal service and that compliance with CCP 415.20 was required. So the plaintiff, which is the law firm, has now managed to get a default entered against the LLC defendant even though the individuals service issue for Nicki herself remains un- unresolved. So while this specific video highlighted some positive strides for Nicki with her legal team after all of the setbacks in 2025 and early 2026, having new lawyers is a good thing to tackle all of the different cases. But the fact that the law firm suing her has now entered a default against her LLC, Harajuku Barbie music, and there's a possibility that that might proceed.

[00:08:36]Which is a little scary because it does not allow for the lawyers to defend the case. Now, this is happening because of all of the setbacks and the delays because Nicki didn't have a legal team and this lawsuit has been filed and unanswered. So they're probably tired.

[00:08:52]Anyway, I know we discussed a lot of legal terminology and stuff. So what I'm going to do is cut this video here and I'm going to go into the specific document where they entered the default judgment against Harajuku Barbie music.

So we need to talk about like if this goes through, if the default judgment against Nicki's LLC is granted, will they continue to sue her individually, Onika Maraj?
