[00:00:06]Zeke was born here on our farm. He was born premature. I would say maybe a month early.

[00:00:15]When we found him, he was so tiny. He couldn't stand on his own.

[00:00:23]He weighed 15 lbs. Normally when they're born, they can weigh anywhere between 50 and 100 lbs.

[00:00:31]He wasn't able to nurse, so we knew that it was time to take action.

[00:00:38]We really didn't think that he would make it through that night, but we were very, very lucky that he was alive the next morning.

[00:00:50]It was definitely a change. We never expected to have a house cow, a house calf, but once he got stronger, he started to show his personality.

[00:01:04]He ran a lot and he jumped and he was very, very playful.

[00:01:11]We had little shoes for him so he could walk around the house.

[00:01:16]The dogs really took to him very, very quick. And I think that he thought that he was one of the dogs.

[00:01:23]He definitely surprised us all.

[00:01:30]About 2 months in, he needed to learn how to be outside.

[00:01:34]I was very emotionally attached to him, so it was very hard to put him outside.

[00:01:40]But he he did fine. He was at the front door waiting for me every morning.

[00:01:46]Ziki, what are you doing? You can't fit in that chair. He still thinks that he can sit on my lap and he can't.

[00:01:55]And definitely acts out if he doesn't get his way.

[00:02:00]I think he really started to show how spoiled he really was when he wasn't allowed on the porch anymore.

[00:02:10]I feel like I'm always saying, "No, Zeke, no."

[00:02:16]But he just wants to be with me all the time. He loves attention.

[00:02:22]If you see me pull in the driveway, he was waiting for me to come out and definitely get those snuggles.

[00:02:30]We have a very special bond. It's a bond that I've never had with any other cow here.

[00:02:36]Oh, I couldn't imagine my life without Zeke. I could not be happier that he survived and that he's living his best life now.
