This raw portrayal captures the tragic dissolution of identity, where the person remains but the persona evaporates into unpredictable fragments. It serves as a sobering reminder that caregiving in the face of cognitive decay is an act of radical patience, not logic.

Just clapping.
Oh, when the saints go marching in, when the saints go maring in, I want to be in that number.
When the saints go marching in bom bom dad >> yeah dad's car I've cleaned it this morning it's clean >> yeah nice and shiny and clean >> best not make a mess of it then >> no definitely not what color is it >> black >> oh man is coming down and you need to see it.
>> Oh, that'll be nice.
>> And just like that, we're home. I've honestly found today just a little bit difficult with my nan. Um I think because she's had quite heavy fixations today. It's been really hard to distract Nan. Like some days are a little bit easier than others with distractions, but today was just particularly really rough and just a difficult day. It's one of those days where it feels like herade isn't working, but it is. She's just really distant in her dementia world.
And days like today just make me really sad because it makes me miss the person that I saw yesterday and the day before even more so. And you grieve through these multiple versions of the person that you love that you meet each and every day. And today I just really grieve the bubbly bright nan that I saw two days ago where it was easier to have conversations. However, communication doesn't always have to have words, and I could feel that my mom was squeezing me every now and then with her hands, and she just seemed really tired today. So, I think maybe she just ran out of energy for talking and holding conversations and being a little bit more present in this reality. And it's just part of the journey really. But yes, another day in the Jmento world. Thank you so much for spending another day of that with us. We are so grateful. And as I always say, your love, your kindness, and support means the world to us. So, thank you truly from the bottom of my heart. We really are so grateful. Me and my mom read through all of the comments and every one of you is so special to us.
So, thank you so much. Don't forget to press subscribe if you haven't already and we will catch you in the next video.
Now, bye everyone.
