[00:00:00]What's up guys? Luke here and world's day two just ended. So look today I'm going to break down some very exciting matches and also talk a little about skills. As we uh talked about yesterday, two out of the three teams that had that 119 has already maxed out skills. 10B also looking to do so tomorrow hopefully. But looks like uh XP is sitting first right now. um possibly very possibly taking home that world champion for skills because now skills is your your your highest score and there's a tie. The tiebreaker is your second highest score. Anyways, so congrats to those teams. Also, shout out to 1220X for helping me find some matches and also everyone in the server for helping me um find matches. Anyways, first up we have 93 from the engineering division. Here we have 1666A and 82855Z against 11211X and 6156A or 68A. So I think a big thing that you can notice right away um in some of the matches we see today are there's a lot of baskets and these baskets are pretty strong immediately off the bat or you know trying to put our focus on on this the third seed team here and the second seed team here right that is this 11211x on the blue alliance and 1666A on the red alliance mainly those red alliance is collecting a lot of blocks and as you can see here this is one of those interesting baskets that can hold both both of the blocks right they can hold blue and red and that makes it very very powerful because you can see that as the match goes they are able to clear up all these blocks, right? Really reducing the amount of blocks that blue has uh has the ability to to use here and it's pretty strong. We'll see some more later um in this video, but you know they're they're playing a pretty good uh consistent strategy here, right? Staying on one side of the field and then just they're just clearing ramming through everything. They just cleared the whole side, right? And this is really really good for them because first of all, they're collecting blocks to score. And second of all, they're running through the blue side. So I mean, if if you're blue and you need to like grab blocks, you want to drive closer to where you are, right? So you can see it better so you can drive better, right? And they drive through here and collect all those blocks and also get rid of the blue blocks here as well. So really to give no blocks for blue once again here, having their alliance partner stay very very heavily defended on uh on 11121 X here. So pretty pretty clear red fa favor here as they also want got that bonus. But you'll see as the match goes on here. There's a little bit of an entanglement going on. They're going to clear that out soon. And and there's going to be a ton of defense being played on this blue alliance. This third seed there because they, you know, red alliance knows they're good. So playing heavy heavy defense on them, not letting them score anything. Red Alliance doing more match though. So this is going to be a big PA. This is going to be a big dump at the end of the match and you already know it, right? So, I mean, is there really anything that that blue can can do to to to stop this? Right. Red has control of all four goals at this point. This is going to be this is going to be interesting to see what blue can do here, right? Cuz red is up so much, right? There's a full basket with all of these blocks. They're collecting more blocks as we speak. You're going through blue's uh park bar to collect all those.

[00:03:24]And once again, this blue is still getting heavily defended. See what happens here. Red Alliance coming in going to try to make something trying to make a a Pika happen here because that's the whole goal, right? With all those blocks, they're going to put a block there, neutralize that middle, and Blue Alliance is going to do an amazing job blocking him from able to beat Pika, right? This is about here, right?

[00:03:47]because he knows, hey, like this is a really really big and chunky robot, right? So, with his time, right, he just needs to hold down one of these sides sides of the goal, right? And make sure that this blue robot or this red robot can't can't peeka, right? And he's going to score his blocks in and then tries his best to go and stop the the pika.

[00:04:05]And he does that. And it's it's pretty insane, right? because right here as well on the other side we're going to see 111 11211x as well hitting a big D score on the very top. So very impressive match here out of the blue alliance in um yeah pretty pretty crazy strategy. Anyways on to qual 42. This one we have another basket right this one in this matches basket wins. Last match it lost but this one is a different basket from the math division. This is has 185A. Pretty sure they have a pretty incredible basket here playing against pretty well-known team here, 1082E carbonated potatoes.

[00:04:48]They have that double wing setup. And let's see what they're going to be able to do here. Immediately, this basket is not collecting as many blocks as the last one did, right? Not they're, you know, they're kind of kind of playing like what Pico would do. This is pretty much just a Pika clone here. scoring a couple blocks and more a lot more focused on just playing the the actual game here. Playing exactly how how like an ESPA or Rayu would play and you know they're just playing playing the normal game and collecting as they go. Right.

[00:05:20]They're putting like literally just two blocks in and trying to do some scores as the blue alliance, you know, starts to get a little bit of a lead here on the on the field as they as they fill up a couple goals here. Let's see what the red alliance can do here with this this horde bot. And they're going to they're going to match load. And those blue blocks goes into the goes into the basket too, right? They have a full basket now. That is super super filled as they just collected some blocks on the field with 40 seconds left. Right.

[00:05:47]The blue lines really has to think about how they're going to defend this robot because it's going to be a really easy win for red if they can get this peak off. Right. Spend a couple blocks there and 20 seconds left. Put three more in.

[00:05:58]Right. I think at that point I thought they were going to peek up but they didn't. Right. They went for this um just a quick a quick cycle on here and with 20 seconds left they spit out a couple blue blocks and I think this is when they are going for the pika or at least they would right and and will they with 10 seconds left. Yep. They looks like they went for the pika. I think like if your if your opponents have a basket, you got to just be paying attention to to the time and also like like where they are, right? Because if you're up right now, I mean like I don't know. I feel like blue could have scored their blocks there or or try to play defense earlier because this definitely lost them the game right here with this big peak at the end. And that's the win for the I think this is a China basket. Not too sure. But next up we have Cole 94 or 90 97 from the innovative div and we have a chainsaw and rake one 9123C against 213 1N and 39R. This is going to be an intense intense matchup here. I think we have a a pretty pretty bad DC out of uh out of 9123C not letting them finish their auto properly here. Their auto kind of failing here. I don't know. It puts a couple couple in at the end. But yeah, definitely not looking super hot for for the Red Alliance going into this driver control period with one second left into the driver now. Immediately, Blue Alliance has a pretty big lead, three-goal lead here, making it four goals as we speak. And Rayuan is going to go for some matchups early there. Um, interesting that they throw the blocks around into here into their park zone.

[00:07:45]Haven't seen that happen a lot at least in qualifications. And we're going to see Rayuan dumping a couple blocks in. And this is going to be pretty pretty rough for them, right?

[00:07:56]Because these teams are all pretty good.

[00:07:57]So they're able to get a pretty big D squareore there, but blue d sques them back. And you're going to see a pretty crazy thing happen right here. Whereas Rigon collects all these blocks in their intake. Their alliance partner AAM's chainsaw has spent this whole time filling up their double double double sbot. They've went around the whole field and collected all these bots or all these all these blocks with their bot that is is very well made for skills. Unfortunately, I don't think they're taking skills this year, but they do have a bot that is that can hive a crazy capacity. And that shows as they were the first seed or the first place skills before the cut off. And here we're going to see a really interesting strategy here as Rayan plays a screen for AAM's chainsaw. And AAM's chainsaw dumps all these blocks in. And as soon as they're done, what we does, it's crazy. They just park there and bam, they set up this screen against two robots, right? This is this is pretty insane.

[00:08:54]All right, anyways, as the match goes on, this is definitely too early for this play. I feel like I feel like this is a more much more of a of an endgame play and and it's definitely I mean, it's nice to see that Rayon can do this, but very very endgame play. And you're going to see here that they get driven out by the blue lines here going to the other side and pushing them across um across that double line there. And Rayon's going to try their best to get get back in this position here. I think they're going to be able to do it once as they collect a couple more blocks here. They're going to dump them back in. And they will get back into this position, but I think they're just better off playing playing normally, right? because they get a big blue gets a big D scorecore right here as they you know realize hey this guy is just going to stay here. So they get through all all the way over here and they descore all those blocks out, right? So now with 30 seconds left, they're down three goals. They got to they got to play quick. See what happens here. Quick D square out of Rayuan puts the luckily gets those blocks in for the second control zone. Ham's chain sock gets theirs as well, right? And then Reguan's going for the fourth fighting for that one. And unfortunately for the the blue line, Sat tips over on the goal. So now Reguan gets to load massively. Also interesting that I think this is 39R was waiting for their own Pika. They were waiting for their own last second dump.

[00:10:16]DC's a little bit here. Comes back lines up for this this dump here and and they're going to be able to do it as as well as Rayuan which has it just you know no one's no one's even defending them. So they got that easy going for the park as well. And that's that match.

[00:10:31]All right. Finally we have Qu 93 in the math division. This is 62.

[00:10:39]Let me go back to the auto. 62024P and 1698V against 2570R and 26038A.

[00:10:52]Immediately we have a solo on one point out of Royal Flush here. Going getting quite a few blocks here. Let's see if they get it. I think they're they should be able to get it. Yeah, I think they they do get it here. Pretty happy about that. Red Alliance has two autos. So definitely I think that was a red win or never mind.

[00:11:16]Blue blue win because of a of a line cross or something or a block cross from red. Yeah, that's what it looks like immediately. Uh 1698V getting their their 1v one. Choosing the harder opponent here, right? This is interesting that that they ch they like to choose their harder choose harder opponent and they use their their um what is it called? They use their their dcore mech to just ram into into royal flush again and again there staying very heavily on their defense, right? Um, his reach is very his reach is reach super far because he is able to stick that out and just start just just just start ramming into him. This is this is crazy new defense tech here out of 1698V sticking up their their Dcore to to pin people down clearing that the park bar as a lot of these good teams do and playing heavy defense right getting in the way is a is a big thing um in these matches here them getting in the way of real flush here stopping them from be able to score in that position and then immediately switching over to mids and you know tying up mids as well putting a block in winning that mid and then going for this Dcore here. This is going to be close and they are going to get it. That is 1698V.

[00:12:32]So pretty close match still, right? This is uh could still be anyone's game there as Royal Flush clears that out. Is now Blu's game as Blues up a little bit now.

[00:12:42]Big D score from 1698V. And another big D score from the top there. Looking pretty pretty strong. Um it's pretty crazy that world's so long.

[00:12:54]It's like four days. Anyways, blue lines here taking control of of the top goal again against against 1698 V and Ro flusher has a lot of blocks that they're waiting to score. Right, this is and they dump it all out for for that middle for that bottom middle which I don't know if it's that's if that's that smart because 169 AB very quickly takes it all back and now Royal Flush is left with no blocks. And you know, the end of the match here, he had to spend extra time collecting locks on the on this park bar, which was definitely not not super smart. As 698, he had a perfect chance just immediately to get those get that long goal control. And it's going to be pretty pretty easy there as there's pretty much met with no defense. And there's a lot of defense here as 698V almost gets a violation for that. that almost illegal and that'll be the last match that we'll be watching. Yeah.
