[00:00:05]It doesn't look like control. She feeds her, watches over her, keeps her close, but none of it is really about Nina.

[00:00:16]It's about not losing her.

[00:00:18]Her mother never became what she wanted, so Nina has to. And for that to work, she can't grow up.

[00:00:28]She has to stay dependent because independence would mean separation.

[00:00:35]And separation would feel like loss.

[00:00:40]So, what looks like protection is actually control.
