Can Morality Really Evolve?

[00:00:00]People today often say, "Morality evolves."

[00:00:04]But think about that for a second.

[00:00:06]Social norms do change. Clothes change.

[00:00:09]Music changes. Language changes. Even traditions change. But should right and wrong change, too?

[00:00:17]Because if morality only depends on what society accepts, then slavery was moral when society accepted it.

[00:00:26]Corruption becomes moral when everyone does it.

[00:00:30]And cruelty becomes moral if the majority approves. That does not sound right.

[00:00:36]Deep inside, most people already know some things are simply wrong, no matter the generation.
