CUSMA uncertainty staggers Canada's auto sector

[00:00:00]I'm sitting in Alliston right now. So, you know, this is the community that my grandkids are growing up in and I think what's really changed Dave everything you said is true. We didn't get the infrastructure built when Ford came in he he stopped the process. You know, there were there was work that was being done. He didn't believe in electric vehicles in 2018. He believes in them now, but he didn't believe in them then. So, there was a stalling of the the process of the infrastructure build and he canceled the rebates and so on. So, the market wasn't allowed to grow.

[00:00:33]Maybe it wouldn't have grown as much as it needed to anyway, but still there was a pause. Now they've started up again, but the real thing that has happened and in you know in all the articles I read about this Japan is worried about Kuzma. They're worried about access to the American market. That's what this is about. So, whether it's a hybrid or whether it's an electric vehicle, I don't think we're going to see growth in the auto industry until we get Kuzma settled. That's what's that's what's going on.
