We're getting just under a 1.55, which is too low for mint garnet, but it's the correct reading for quartz. Now, if we get lucky, the polariscope can help us make the final call. We're getting a great blink and hopefully we can find the rainbow-like interference colors that point out the crystal axis and here they are. With the condensing sphere, we're getting a bull's-eye figure, which means this can only be quartz. And it's a super clean one, too. So, only advanced laboratory testing can tell us if it's natural or synthetic. So, this is a quartz and because of its light green color, we call it prasiolite. So, did you get this one right?
