GUYS, ROBLOX IS SAVED. ACTUALLY, NO. NO, it's not. Roblox isn't saved. Yeah, we have a uh lot of Roblox news to talk about today. Some of it's really bad.
Some of it's really good. Some of it's going to make you guys really mad. And um some of it uh well, some of it has to do with games like Forsaken getting sued. So, let's just go ahead and hop into it. So, as I talked about in the previous video, Roblox is ending all donation games. Games like Please Donate will basically be shut down essentially on the 29th of this month. Basically, if you missed the big news, Roblox made an announcement last week that if you want to be sending Roblox to people, you got to use Roblox Plus from here on out. And so, they're basically getting rid of all donation games on Roblox starting on the 29th, including my Roblox game, my donation game. So, thanks Roblox. That's amazing. Love you for that. And as you might expect, there's been massive backlash over this, right? This is like the number one way for people to get free Robux. Please donate donation games. A lot of people love it. Roblox issued a response to the backlash. You might imagine what they said. Go ahead and take a guess. Like actually in your head right now, I want you to take a guess at what they said. Okay, I'm going to I'm going to tell you now. So, basically Roblox said, um, yeah, we know that this is going to essentially shut down all donation games, but we're going to do it anyway. They said any games that are affected by this should just start using Roblox Plus. Sometimes I really hate when Roblox asks for feedback and then we give them the feedback and then they don't listen to the feedback we give them. It's like, what's the point? This is one of those times. Now, I guess on the other side of that coin, we do have a little bit of good news here. Roblox announced that they're actively working on removing all the spam and cloned games on the platform. Now, instead of reading what Roblox said about this, I'll just show you. You know how when you search up a brain rot game, you just see like 50,000 brain rots that are like the same thing.
Like, for example, if I type in tsunami, like they're all the same game. Escape tsunami for brain rot. Uh, upgrade tsunami for destruction. Escape tsunami on a jetack. Plus one speed motorcycle tsunami. Escape from the tsunami for brain rods. Escape the tsunami to car plus one speed versus they're all the same game basically, right? Well, it looks like Roblox is going to start classifying this as spam and aka cloned games and they're going to start removing it from the platform. So, good job, Roblox. That's That's a good update. Roblox is saved. I'm joking.
Let's keep going. Oh, yeah. You guys aren't going to like this one. I I can I can already tell. I can already see the comments. Oh, boy. You better sit down for this. Okay, here it is. Starting in June, Roblox creators must pay a thousand Robux for every game that they want to publish to all users. Yes, if you want to publish a game on Roblox, it is now going to cost you a,000 Robux, aka $10. Now, you're probably mad about that. And as I'm talking, you're probably sitting THERE LIKE, but this this is actually better than the alternative. You see, previously Roblox made an announcement that you had to have Roblox Plus in order to publish games to all users on the platform.
Roblox Plus, of course, being $5 every month or $60 a year. $10 as a onetime fee is way better than $60 a year. But hold on, there is a little bit of good news here. Roblox will refund the Roblox publishing fee in full after 3 months if your game is still active and has not received any moderation action. So, whenever you publish a game to all users and you pay the $10 fee, if after 3 months your game hasn't broken any rules, Roblox will give you the 1,000 Robux back. You know those games that are highly inappropriate, like this bathroom game here? Well, if you have to pay money now to upload every single game and publish it to everyone, well, in theory, you should see less inappropriate games because these people will just be losing their money constantly. That's the theory anyway, and that's why Roblox is doing this. So, after 3 months, if your game hasn't broken any rules, you'll get your 1,000 Robux back. Or alternatively, if you do have Roblox Plus, if you are subscribed to Roblox Plus, then you don't have to pay the fee. I guess it's an either or six or seven.
Anyway, are you guys ready for some good news? I'm joking. It's more bad news.
So, uh, Roblox is going to start locking games. I'm sure you guys saw this. A lot of people talking about this on the Tik Tok. If you're not age verified and you go to certain games, games that have a a higher level maturity than like the little 8-year-old iPad games, you're going to see this message right here.
This game will be locked. Let's check if you're able to play. Roblox is starting to lock games that have a certain maturity level on them. Meaning if you want to play certain games, well then you have to do an age check, an age verification in order to ensure that you are age appropriate for for that game like Front Lines here, the maturity level is moderate. You're going to need to do an age check to play this game.
Now, weirdly enough, on top of all this that we just talked about, a lot of big games on Roblox have started getting banned. Like literally, a lot of big games on Roblox, like My Restaurant, literally made by big games, it got banned earlier today. Flood Escape, the classic game, it also got banned earlier today. Noob Train, another big game.
that had like 500 million visits. It got banned the other day. Pressure got banned. And I like I I understand the situation around it obviously, but the reason why it got banned had nothing to do with that. It It just got banned for other reasons. And some of these games are coming back online, but some of them are still content deleted. I'm not really sure why Roblox is is banning all these games or why they're going down.
The big rumor right now is that Roblox is resetting the maturity rating for these games before they obviously release the age check update because they want to make sure that the age rating for all these games is is accurate. Yeah, we honestly don't know.
It's just kind of all speculation at this point. A bunch of big games are getting deleted and nobody knows why.
Now, we do have some good news. Okay, let's talk about some good news. The Roblox lock emojis are now officially gone. As of today, you will never see these in the chat ever again. I don't know why this picture says mommy feet goddess at the top, but don't worry about that. You see, because today Roblox launched cross server chat and chat summaries. Now, I'm not going to go through the entire post here and read everything about it. I'll just kind of quickly explain it to you. Basically, the Roblox chat has two tabs now. The inserver chat and then the global chat.
Here is for anyone that is in your server. You can talk to people in your server. And then global is for everyone across every server ever. So you can talk with people even not in your server. It's kind of cool. Now the other thing is this right here. We have AI summaries. This is what's replacing the lock emojis. So if you're in a server or a chat and other people are talking, you can't see what they're saying cuz you're in a different age group. Roblox will use AI, as you can see right here, to essentially AI summarize what everyone else is talking about and tell it to you. It's better than the lock emojis, at least. So we got that going for us.
Another update Roblox announced is at the end of the year, Roblox is going to be launching a tool that allows you to create animations for your avatar.
Essentially, emotes for your avatar using AI prompts. So, you can see down here at the bottom, it's an AI prompt.
They just type what they want and then Roblox will AI generate an animation for your avatar that you can use. And uh not going to lie, I'm a little bit worried about it, especially when we already have uh stuff like this in the catalog.
Yes, that is my avatar shaking them cheeks.
like what what's going to happen? Like what happens if you just put in the prompt, I want an animation where my cheeks uh uh shake. Almost said something else, but you get what I'm saying. Uh I I I'm curious how this is going to go, especially considering it's made with AI. So, I guess we'll see. And on top of this, Roblox is also adding fingers to Roblox avatars. So, even if you have blocky avatars, square avatars, you know, the R15 avatars, those avatars can now wiggle their finger fingers fingers. So, you can you can use stuff with your with with your fingers. And uh I'm not going to lie, the first thing I saw whenever someone released this or whenever whenever this, you know, was was announced. Okay. Well, I actually can't show the gif. I was going to show the gif. It was a It was a gif of a Roblox avatar sticking his finger up another avatar's booty hole. I can't show that, but you can move your fingers now on Roblox. So, that's good. That's real good. That's good. literally just announced right now Roblox tweeted and said more Robux is always a plus. So instead of Roblox Plus just being $5 a month if you want extra Robux alongside of it, they now have Did they delete the tweet? Did they actually delete? They deleted the tweet and retweeted it. Why would they do that? Any Anyway, you can now buy different packages. So if you want 500 a month, it's $9. You want a,000 a month, it's $13. You want 2,000 a month, it's $22. So you tell me in the comments if it's worth it or not.
Obviously, I'm just going to stick to the $5 a month one cuz I already have enough Robux. I have like 2 million. So, no use of me paying more money a month for Roblox to give me Robux every month.
Now, we need to talk about Roblox enforcement bans again because there's still a problem and a lot of people are still talking about them. So, I'm going to kind of explain the situation here that happened with this user named King Arthur. This guy uh this guy right here.
So, basically, he got banned for account linking. His Roblox account was linked to something inappropriate. And the reason why it got banned is because someone had hacked their account years ago. And whenever they hacked their Roblox account years ago, it logged that IP on the account. And well, flash forward a few years to now to today.
Roblox logged that IP address as, you know, fraudulent, inappropriate, bad.
You know, it was a hacker. And so they just banned every account with that IP address. Meaning every account that the hacker hacked just got banned. And they didn't do anything wrong. They just had their Roblox account banned and they have been banned for 211 days all because someone hacked their Roblox account. It logged the hacker's IP address on their account and every account with the hacker's IP address got banned. Roblox responded to all this and basically said, "We investigated our systems and determined that they're working as designed, but the team is looking for ways to improve the altac account ban experience for the average user without making it too easy for malicious users to reverse engineer.
Thank you for your patience." So, I don't really know what that means. I don't know if they're working on it. I don't know if they're going to fix it. I have I have no idea. But enforcement bans are still a problem. You know what else is a problem? Roblox Forsaken. Not really. I love the game, but it's uh it's part of a lawsuit. Now, now I'm not going to read through the entire lawsuit here, but I will give you a TLDDR on it because um it's bro like this like this. This is this like teenage girl. This is a grown man typing like this. By the way, I just want to point this out, okay? Like like who types like this? Like if you type like this and you're an adult, what are we doing? Okay, like this this is 12year-old activity here. This is 12-year-old behavior. Anyway, anyway, basically what happened is this game was created by a guy named Soul. Soul has some pretty bad allegations against them. I'm not going to get into them.
They're out there. You can read up on them. So Soul ended up giving ownership of Forsaken to Basil and this guy named Hitoko. Well, according to this lawsuit, Soul decided that he wants ownership of the game back. And to stop the game from getting back into Soul's hands, Basil and Hitoko here, they essentially they're suing him. They they they're part of a federal lawsuit now. It says, "The lawsuit starts out with a nice summary. Soul transferred the game to Basil and Hitoko after some ugly accusations against them, and now he wants to unwind the deal and get ownership back." Dude, I still can't get over, bro. Who dies like this? How How old is this guy again? Hold on. I'm sorry. Hold on. Okay. So, according to Google, Soul is 19 to 22 years old. Okay. I mean, I'm 29 years old and I cried over tongue tongue tongue. So, like I don't really have room to talk, but oh man, I can't imagine typing like this, dude. Like, like, nobody goes Hold on. I'm disconnecting my keyboard for this. Nobody goes I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Back to the video. I'm sorry.
Anyway, Basil and Hitoko are suing Soul to ensure that the ownership of Forsaken stays in their hands and it doesn't get transferred back. And we will hear an update from Soul's legal team within 30 days. So, we'll just kind of have to wait and see what happens here. And then also speaking of lawsuits, Roblox is getting sued again, this time by the state of Indiana, essentially saying that the platform has not made sufficient measures to protect children against bad actors online and that the effectiveness of the safety features have remained to be seen. And like look, I'm going to be honest with you. I agree with a lot of the people quote retweeting this. I like I don't really know what else Roblox is is going to do here. They have taken away chat. You have to do age checks to play certain Roblox games now. Like I there's really not much else Roblox can do at this point. Like to be honest, I kind of think Roblox has went a little bit too far with some stuff. Like yes, Roblox definitely still has moderation issues.
Like for example, if I just look up Club, I'm sure there's going to be a bunch of inappropriate games on here that that need to be taken down. Of course, like like this like this right here. But like I'm not really sure in terms of like features what else Roblox can add. They've already kind of done everything. Chat is restricted. Games are restricted. You can't talk to people anymore. You know what I mean? We are truly in the endg games. We'll have to see. Hopefully, this isn't the end of Roblox because, you know, that'd be the end of my career. What am I going to do?
Go to Fortnite? I don't think so. And then finally, I want to talk about this right here. I missed this in the last video. Three young hackers aged 19 to 22 have been arrested by Ukrainian police in Leiv after stealing more than 610,000 Roblox accounts. Basically, a bunch of hackers used a fake Roblox extension and a lot of people downloaded those fake Roblox extensions. Um, around 610,000.
They got access to the accounts and then they sold the stolen accounts, including 357 highv value ones on the black market for $225,000.
And now they're going to be in prison uh for up to 15 years, which is a long time. That's why if you're going to start using Roblox extensions like this one here, and like look, I'm not saying this one's bad. I use a bunch of Roblox extensions myself. Just make sure the ones you're downloading are actual legit extensions and not a virus. Otherwise, your Roblox account is going to get banned. I mean, hacked. Hacked and banned. Probably both. To be honest with you, it's it's going to get both. It's going to get hacked and banned. In the words of Roblox Tik Tok, stay safe out
