The “Flat Lips Master” DisasterAdded:
Where are you coming from? Where are you coming from? Where are you coming from?
Where are you guys coming from? Where are you coming from? Hey, where you coming from?
>> Where are you watching this from?
What happens when a registered nurse gets called out for scamming people as well as taking their money without providing any services? Well, stick around and you'll find out.
>> Oh no.
>> Each year I try to travel different countries to learn from the best injector possible and also learn what true meaning of beauty is. Today we're going to be talking about the Lip King, which that name by itself is already a red flag. Aka your lip king, aka flat lips master. You'll soon find out why he goes by that. Everything but calling himself a registered nurse on his once existing bio.
Yeah, he quickly deleted that one. As I mentioned, he is an RN and he worked at AD Beauty Medp Spa specializing in Botox and filler as well as other things that I've discovered. He focuses on facial anatomy and precision in order to create naturallooking results. And when I tell you he does everything in his power to make sure that your lips are natural, this is how they look like. These are the results. Look at that. Flat lips. He said he's a master of that. His work is so good that it looks as if nothing was ever filled. And that is because a lot of the patients that have gone to him are questioning if something was ever put in at all.
>> The lip king is a crook. This guy basically pretended to give me lip filler and tried to charge me $500 as a new patient promo.
>> I can't believe I'm saying this, but I was also scammed by the lip king 3 weeks ago.
>> Another thing to note is that he performs treatments under Dr. Justin Evans, who is a boardcertified doctor of osteopathic medicine, and I did look it up. His license is valid until 2028.
They're both valid. Johnny is just the scammer. The Lip King went viral so much to the point where women were flying from all parts of the US in order to get their lips filled. He really took pride that people were traveling far in order to see him. I'm telling y'all, his entire Tik Tok that once existed. The thumbnails on that page were literally just GPS coordinates of where each of his clients were traveling from. And speaking of travel, he takes pride that he travels to the UK to Scotland in order to learn from the best injectors out there, as well as to finally understand what true beauty actually means.
>> I'm Johnny. I spent years training across different part of the world.
Korea, Mexico, London and here in states as well. Not to change faces but to understand them. Different ethnicities, different skin, different structures, different cultures, all need different approaches. At AD Beauty Messba, this is safe space. No pressure, no judgment, just honest conversations and natural results.
>> Not only were people loving his job, but it also meant that he was going viral on Tik Tok. Everybody was raving about him on TikTok, so I got curious. I went on his website and I realized that this guy is fully booked for the remainder of the year. It's safe to say that Johnny got so overwhelmed with the amount of people that were trying to get their lips filled by him that he closed down his website. Not only that, but his business is temporarily closed. There's also allegations that he just became so overwhelmed he fled the country so he wouldn't administer the services to his patients.
But he did have some good reviews such as 6 days ago someone said the Botox I received never worked. Oh that's the wrong review. Sorry guys. Um, a week ago someone said, "I will say that the experience and technique used were good, but you will not get a full syringe that you paid for, and my lips don't look any fuller. Don't waste your money."
Uh, he has to have some other good reviews, right? I mean, he's the lip king, so what's happening?
Well, people didn't like his work. Okay, he did have some good reviews, y'all.
But um yeah, he's a scammer, so why would I put that on here? They're going to find out soon that they got scammed.
Unfortunately, >> when someone has a thin lips like like this, this is what I would do.
>> You like that?
>> I love them.
>> Okay, so for someone who has small lips, we want to make sure we are focused on the height. Look at mirror real quick.
Second turn, turn and then look at the mirror. So we want to take a look at the um more of a height, >> not a protruding this way, but you want to make it tall. Okay. Beautiful.
>> How do you like that?
>> I like double.
>> Yes.
>> Someone asked Lip King, "How long does the treatment last?" And he says, "6 to 7 months."
>> That was a lie.
>> Another woman says, "I can't wait to see you. I've got to save up for this though." And he says, "Yes." One of the comments that was an icing on the cake for me as well as a red flag. Someone asked him, "How much does this cost?"
And he says, "DM me for promo." If that isn't a red flag, I don't know what is.
There could have been another answer. DM me for promo. You could have said it depends on type of look that you're trying to go for or all this other stuff. You know, you don't have to give a price. You don't even have to give an estimate, but DM me for promo.
>> I get this question a lot. I have a small lips. Can I still do my lip fillers? Uh the truth is, if you're looking for a big lips, no, it's not cheapable. But this is what I could do.
get finished the side pla always ship it flat.
So, y'all know how I said he does Botox filler as well as some other things that I discovered. Well, I went on his Facebook and I realized that this guy feels hip dips, which is not a bad thing. I've seen it happening before.
However, the images that were used, someone pointed it out. Why is one lighter after the procedure? Do you do whitening as well? And he responds, "Good eye. just messaged you for the solution.
These images, they're the same person.
Cool. If they are, but now you whiten your patients as well, like whitening cream. You give them whitening cream.
It's safe to say that he probably just wanted to be a jack of all trades. I don't know if the doctor knew he was doing all of this, but nonetheless, this guy has fled the country. Um, everything is down. No one has answers, but I hope that eventually he'll get caught.
>> Is this first time with us?
>> This is my first time doing filler at all.
>> Filler ever? Is this the first time ever for you guys? Is this her first time ever?
>> Yes.
>> Sounds good. Are you excited?
>> Yes.
>> Let's go. All right. This was the first time. Where you guys coming from, by the way?
>> There's a lady on TikTok who I believe truly deserves her flowers. Her name is Karine Kimmes. I hope I'm saying that right. She is the one that called out the lip king or the one that I saw first calling out the lip king to the point of where she got an ultrasound done in order to prove that the lip king was a scam artist. And right after her videos, more videos started surfacing of people coming out and talking about their experience with the lip king. Not only that, but in the comment section of all the people that have been victims of this guy, people that have gone to him too are saying that they got scammed.
They finally realized that this wasn't real. And one thing about the lip king that I noticed is that he found some type of joy in knowing that his patients never had lip filler before. It was their first time. And I think that is when he took advantage of the opportunity because if you don't know what exactly to expect, then anything he does you will trust because he's a registered nurse. And I know I've mentioned the importance of researching the procedures that you're going to have done. I still stand on that. But at the same time, if you are an RN injector, people trust that you've gone to school, you respect your job, you love your job, and you will give them the best service that they can ask for. So, this just proves that even someone with a degree still needs to be vetted. Without wasting any more time, let's get into Korean as well as all the other people that have experienced the scammer.
>> When I found him, I was like, "Wow, his work is really nice." It was something that I had thought of. Although like I naturally have lips already, but I just wanted a little bit extra like most of us do. When I went to book, the website says there's a new patient promo. You get 1 milll of lip filler for $4.95. And I was like, "Wow, that's a really really good deal. I like his work and like that's just sounds like a good deal."
So, it kind of like persuaded me to book. I booked him way back in February, so I only waited two months um to go, but I know now he's booked until like September. Basically, I go in um ready to get my 1 ml of lip filler and he's there and we're talking and I tell him like I'm really just looking for like some height um and just like more to enhance like what I have, right? There was no talk of how much he was going to give me because well for one I booked for 1 ml so I thought I was getting 1 ml. He basically does four pokes. One right here, one right here, one right here, one right here. And he's kind of like moving around which like I know that's a technique, right? So I didn't think anything of it. And then he shows me myself in the mirror. I kind of saw like a little bit of like projection because I now looking back I really think it was just because there were pokes. Right. By the way, looking back, I was nervous. I've never gotten lip filler, so I was nervous about the pain.
So, like I think I just like wasn't really paying attention. Like, I never saw him open a new box um of the product I bought. I never saw him do any of that because mostly we were just taking photos. I think he already had it prepped or something. So, if you're booking 1 ml, I'm hoping that the receptionist mentions that you're booking 1 ml just to be clear. And I'm definitely hoping that your injector is going to say you're going to do 1 ml, right? and talk to you about what to expect and all these other things. If he just kind of came up to you and started injecting, that's very suspicious and scary.
>> I'm like, "Oh, like looks good." And I just thought that because they were just like freshly done. I thought that they weren't they were just like not swollen yet or anything. So, I didn't think anything of it. I paid and left. When I got in my car, I like pulled down the mirror in my car and I was looking more and I was like, "This is my lips. Like, nothing has changed. This is kind of weird." So, I show my friends and they're kind of like, "Oh, like how much did you get? Did you get 0.5 or 1 ml?"
And after they said that, I was like, "Yeah." Like, that's what I'm kind of thinking, too. Like, there's no way I got 1 ml. Because if you know anything about lip filler, you know what people look like after they get their lips done. Like, they look crazy at least for like 5 days, right? So, I'm like, "Okay, that's really weird." So, I call um Johnny the Lip King, his assistant, and I'm like, "Hey, um I just want to call to confirm that I got 1 ml of lip filler." And he's like, "Oh, like let me ask him." And he like waits. He puts me on hold. Didn't get an answer. He comes back and he's like, "Hey, like he's really busy. Like, I'll text you." And I'm like, "Great, that's fine." Some time goes by and he hasn't responded to me. So, I text him and I'm like, "Hey, um I just want to follow up. I booked the new patient promo for 1 ml and um I just want to make sure that's what I got and it's crickets, right? And I'm like, okay, this is really weird because I've gotten like Botox and stuff um from reputable place and they can pull up your records like that, tell you exactly what you purchased, exactly how much you were administered. Like this is a medical spa. Um they should 1,000% be able to tell you like that, right?
Basically, there is no record that this assistant is able to reach himself. He's like waiting for the lip king to respond to him. And now I'm like, okay, this is really weird. So, basically, I'm getting ghosted by the assistant. And so, that's why I think what, like maybe like 8 hours had passed now. So, now it's at night. It's like 9:00 at night. And I'm like, okay, I just feel like I got ripped off because my lips weren't even swollen. I will insert a picture of basically the night time which are just my lips. So now I'm like, "Okay, yeah, absolutely nothing has changed. They just took $500 from me and basically didn't put any filler in my lips." So now I'm DMing him, which is already really unprofessional.
and he's uh he responds and he's like, "Hey, um I gave you.7 ml and threw the rest away."
And I'm like, "Oh, that's really crazy."
Um because I paid for 1 ml and you never told me you were going to throw the rest away. Nothing was communicated to me during the appointment. It was just you're done. Don't don't they look good?
Like oh, like let me take another picture of you. And it was just like like looking back it's so crazy. And he literally like pretended to put filler into my face. And by the way, there's no way there is no way he gave me.7 ml. Um because these are just my lips and this is 2 days later. I'm supposed to be super swollen still and these are just my lips. Um so I don't even know if he gave me real filler.
Maybe he put water in my lips. I don't know. You need to cancel your appointment. If you have an appointment, if you have a flight booked to go see him, you need to cancel everything. Do not waste your money. He's saying he specializes in natural lips and that's probably because he doesn't actually give you lip filler. Um, so that's why all of his clients look natural because he doesn't give lip filler. I don't know what he gives it. It could be water. It could be like I I don't even know what it is.
>> She goes on to say that she knew something wasn't right when she saw freaking Johnny hop in a Lambo, his own Lambo, and also mentioned how he goes on these trips to the UK, to Switzerland, anywhere in Europe in order to learn from the best injector is >> and also to learn what true meaning of beauty is.
>> That's what he says. I noticed as we're watching the video, she had something pop up on screen that said, "I think what he does is give you.3 milliliters and keeps the rest of the filler you bought." Now, in the DM, which is extremely unprofessional, but then we know he says, "DM me for promo with other things." He mentions how he trashes the leftover fillers because it's not sterile anymore. And considering how much this guy lies, who's to say that he doesn't use the same needle for all of his patients until he runs out, who's to say he's even putting real filler in people's lips. It could be saline. It could be water. It could literally be anything.
It's not uncommon to be told that um they'll text you or email you the results. However, getting a faster response through DM, that's just not it.
There are a bunch of red flags in that video. One of the red flags I've noticed is there's no swelling in her lips. And I've noticed that with photos that he shares on his social medias, there's no swelling, which is not uncommon. Maybe for one or two patients, but if most of your patients have no swelling, something's not right. Everyone that went to him honestly needs to go to the doctor and get STDs, STI, HIV tests, diseases check. Y'all need to get it checked. I can't even freaking talk.
It's that serious. And for Johnny, you may run, you may try to hide, but eventually you will get locked up. I'm not in the medical field whatsoever, but even I know that it should not just be 1 2 3 four pokes. It should be multiple little pokes that are strategically placed in order to achieve the look that you're wanting in that. I will say it's not just one technique that's used.
There are some techniques that different injectors use. However, four 1 2 3 4 red freaking flag. Another red flag is choosing a provider based on pricing.
Unlucky for the lip king, as she mentions in her video, she is in ultrasound school and so she was able to go and get her lips checked to see if there's actual filler there. And these are the results.
>> I mean, I could play.
>> So, she mentions this is what we are looking for. Black structure and lips showing there is fillers.
>> This was my friend's with no filler.
These are her teeth. This is her tissue.
No filler. And this is mine. Also, no filler. All just tissue.
>> As y'all can see, her friend that got no filler and her that got filler, there's no difference. What is being put in these women's lips? I have no idea. She has no idea. There's only one person that knows what exactly he's doing or what he was doing.
>> They're actually so cute.
>> You like that?
>> That looks so good.
>> Oh, yes. That looks good. Oh my god.
>> And also one thing I want you to do is smile and look at mirror. Now it keeps a shape, right? Before it would disappear completely, but now there is a shape.
Even if you smile and turn the other side and then there how they're flat in the side.
>> Mhm.
>> Yeah. There's no duck about it. So no perfect. Thanks for coming.
>> Yeah. Thank you.
>> How was your results?
>> 10 out of 10.
>> Yeah. Were you super nervous at first?
>> Very nervous first time, but no pain at all.
>> Yeah.
>> Absolutely.
>> Beautiful.
>> So good.
>> Perfect. Thanks for coming. I remember going through his TikTok before he deleted it and there was a caption of a video that I grabbed because it really just made the hairs on my back stand. It just rubbed me the wrong way. And the caption read, "Before I share another lip filler post, I want to tell you why I started this journey. My background is in emergency care. I've seen people at their lowest. I remember one moment I'll never forget. I helped save someone from an overdose. When he woke up, he looked at me and said, "You're keeping me alive. you're forcing me to live when I don't want to. Those words stayed with me and I'll probably never see him again, but if he ever comes back, I know I would do the same thing again. But that made me question, am I really keeping him alive? That moment changed something in me. People often think lip fillers or Botox are just about vanity.
But for me, it's never been just about that. It's about the connection. When someone trusts you with their face, they're trusting you with so much more than that. They open up. They share their stories. Sometimes we laugh.
Sometimes we cry. Sometimes we pray together. And when I see them again months later, more confident, lighter, doing better in life, that feeling is indescribable. I know enhancing a small part of someone's face isn't everything.
I truly hope it's not the only thing helping them. But if it can be even a small piece of their confidence, their healing, or their happiness, that means the world to me. Every client I meet, I try to really see them, to listen, to understand, to be present. And if all I can offer in that moment is kindness, support, or even just a genuine hug, I'll give that fully. If I can make a difference in even one person's life, I would choose this path again and again and again and again. #reason. When I saw that post, number one, I got to screenshotting. And then two, I was like, be so freaking serious. Be so freaking serious, bro. So now you're having your spiritual awakening, which is fine. You don't have to accept every single client that comes into your door or books you. However, you have to be very transparent about what you are now accepting, how far you are now willing to go in terms of injecting somebody.
Whether it is.3 milliliters and that is all, then let that be all. If you can't do 1 milll, don't advertise that you can do whatever. And that's coming from somebody that doesn't even agree with cosmetic surgery. However, what I don't really agree with is people that scam other people, especially when it comes to the medical field. You are risking someone's life. We don't know where that needle is coming from. We don't know if you injected somebody with that same needle. We don't know anything. So, you can have your spiritual awakening as a doctor, as a registered nurse, as anyone under the medical field. However, be transparent with your patients. That is it. That is all. All right, just finished side profiles flat and then smile for me. Fake smile. Perfect. How do you like them?
>> I love them. Thank you so much.
>> So, this is a lip kings flat lip technique. So, when you see from the front, it looks really nice. Cupid's bow. Um, and when you see the side profile, you see how flat they are. This is the lip king technique. Do you like your results?
>> I love my results.
>> Are you ready to see?
>> Yeah. went to the lip king and no I did not get my lips done with him. I got Botox and I went with him a total of two different times. The first time I got Botox just under here and then the second time I got same place and then here on my traps.
As soon as I saw these videos coming out, I immediately did not want to go with him again. And it wasn't because what he did didn't work. I believe that he did put Botox in me, right? But I don't like what he said. So he was like, um, how much how much do you pay for Botox? And I'm like, why does it matter?
Because that was my first time being a patient. I'm like, why does it matter how much I pay for Botox where I was going? Like, I'm coming with you because I heard good things about you. Like, how much do you charge? you know, that was a huge red flag for me because I'm like, he's just trying to test the waters to see how much he can upcharge me. So, the first time I feel like I paid like around $400 to do here. I don't know. I don't even know how many units I got to be completely honest. Um, I know like the average unit is like 12 to $13, something like that. And then the second time he charged me about $800 to do here and to do my traps right here. I don't know if those are normal prices. I don't even remember how much I paid at the other place, but that comment just threw me off. I was like, absolutely not. That was a huge red flag. And yep, not going with him anymore.
>> Honestly, at that point when he would have asked, "How much do you pay for Botox and everything?" That should have been a red flag. If that doesn't sound like a scam, I don't know what does. I'm not trying to sit here and say I'm holier than anybody that is experiencing this right now because it could truly happen to anyone. What I will say is please make sure that you keep your records. You ask for your records. I had to sign a waiver when I was getting my teeth done. I said, "Could I please get a copy of what I just signed?" And they said yes. Because if they would have said no, then I most likely wouldn't have done it. That's just how I am. I want proof of everything. Literally act like someone is going to come and ask for receipts at any time and have those receipts ready. Especially if something is going to be done to you, you want to know every single thing. Even if you don't understand the medical terminologies for the fact that you have that paperwork with you, you can always go back and read on it or do something, you know, and always, always, always ask questions all the time. Now, another red flag, which this could be a red flag to others or it may not be a red flag to others, but when I go on his bio of his former existing Tik Tok, nowhere did he put that he's a registered nurse. I don't know about y'all, but every video that I've made or that we've seen or that I've seen by myself of a nurse or a doctor or anything, they take pride in being just that. And that is one of the first things you will see in their bio.
So, for him to not have that was very alarming to me. But we're going to move on and watch other videos of the experiences other people had with having their lips filled by John. Before we get into that, I just want to take a moment to say thank you so much to all my anti-dulu den members. I love and appreciate each and every single one of you guys. Not in a parasocial relationship way. Of course, I had to bring that up. But I am officially moved. This is the new studio. I am officially moved. I hope you guys like it because I love it. I just had to take a week off as I was moving from one place to another place, decorating the studio and all this other stuff. It was just a lot and I just went MIA. So, I do apologize for that. I am back and will be filming consistently now posting Tuesdays and Thursdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays for the members of course.
And if you would like to join the Anti-Dulu membership, please don't. If you are in debt, please, please, please.
I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
In the membership, you do get early access and badges. And eventually, I will be making some extra content videos for my members. Will there be another tier with a different price for that?
No. Unless I make very personal videos, then maybe there'll be another tier. But for videos similar to this or just some extra stuff, there won't be another tier. I'm talking so much because I truly don't want to get back into the Lip King scammer. He's really pissing me off. But the time has come. So, let's get back into that mess. I'm not mad. I don't really want my money back because at the end of the day, I put my trust into somebody. And if it was a scam, then that's kind of my fault, I feel like, for not doing my research and not asking to see the syringe beforehand. I went and saw him January 16th. This is my before. This was taken on January 2nd. So, we can see I have fuller lips uh to begin with. Um, so all I kind of wanted was my top lip to be a little bit evened out. I've got a little bit of like unevenness. I usually get like one syringe put in probably every year and a half, two years, give or take. Picture of how my lips look when I'm smiling, so you can see. Now, going off how I said my lips were like a little lumpy and uneven on the top, especially, um, when I got there and Johnny took me back, he asked me what my goals were. I was like, I want them natural. I want them more even. I just want a little bit more of a pout to me. Um, he said, "Okay, perfect." And then he was like, "Have you had past filler?" And I said, "Yeah, I got filler probably about a year and a half ago." He said, "Well, the unevenness is from migration of filler.
That's like filler pockets. Like that's just we need to dissolve that. I said, "My lips have always looked like that."
I showed him a picture of like when I was like 15, 16. I said, "See, my lips have always had that." He said, "Oh, okay. Then we can go ahead and proceed with the one syringe." It was super quick and I've gotten that was my third syringe now over the span of like 7 years. So, I kind of know what to expect. I know it really hurts. This time it did not hurt. He was done within probably 45 seconds. Um, again, like everyone else, it was just a few pokes.
I was like, "Wow, that was really fast and it didn't hurt." And he's like, "Oh, well, I do 30 lips a day, 7 days a week.
Um, I'm the only person who does this technique. I'm like super good at it."
30 lips a day.
30 lips a day. Like I said, I don't want to put blame on the patients. I know some of them like her, she says, "It was my fault. I don't want money for No, it was majority his fault." It was majority his fault. He was a registered nurse that engaged in malpractice. That is it.
That is all.
>> I had my appointment on March 25th with him and I had dissolved my lips before.
I've done nothing since my appointment with him. And so I went in looking basically like this. I just want to first of all say that I'm kind of somewhat in the industry. I am a registered nurse and I run and manage a holistic functional medicine facility. I do IVs all day, but I also do full face Botox all the time. I have done lip filler. It's not something I'm super comfortable doing. I've taken some classes. I just don't have the clientele. Um, so I tend to go to people for lip filler. Haven't done any lip filler in over 3 years. Was pregnant, breastfeeding, all this stuff. So, I was excited to get my lips done and I wanted to start with a fresh canvas. So, I went and got them dissolved before going to him. So, I went and I don't really have any good before pictures, but I'll include one right there. Um, I went again. My lips looked like this.
I was super excited. Got to my appointment and the place is super small. The receptionist just has like a little desk this big. And she stood up and just put the numbing cream on me. No gloves, no nothing. Whatever. Again, I work in the industry industry, so I know what people do. I try not to complain all that much. Numb and cream. Don't really need to be that hygienic for it.
But, um, he comes out, he does an evaluation. At first, he was like super excited. Then, when he like understood that, you know, I'm an injector, then I told him I got them dissolved. He kept telling me that my lips weren't dissolved and that I had a bunch of migration up here, which like I can feel that I don't I got a full syringe of Hilinax or whatever it's called. My lips had puffed up um fully dissolved. And then he was like, "Your lips also won't keep a good shape. You have really thin lips. Um your filler will migrate. I don't know how much I can do. Your lips won't hold filler."
And I've gotten filler numerous times before, although it had been years, but I have uh gotten filler numerous times before. I've gotten full syringes and I'm like, "Okay." He was like, "We'll see how much we can do. Maybe 5.5 or 7."
And again, I was like, "Okay." Um, he took me back to the room. I was in that room for maybe 5 minutes, maybe even less. He laid me on the chair. Didn't take any before pictures. And then he was like, "You know what? We have a lot of lights here." And that is true. You know, he has his little tripods and his lights. And so he covered my eyes with gauze. Covered both eyes with like just the 2 by 2 gauze. Okay. I thought it was a little weird, but whatever. Before he covered, I saw that >> whatever.
He covered your eyes with gauze because there was too much lights.
That's not normal. Why am I here telling an RN that this is not normal? That is weird. That is strange. Either one, I would have said, "Nope, I'm fine." Or two, "Do you not have glasses that I can put on? I still want to see what's happening." And also, the numbing cream thing, I'm still stuck on that. What do you mean the receptionist just got up and just freaking numbed your lips, bro?
Without gloves? What? I'm not going to lie, that had me questioning you. I'm just going to put it out there. I'm not going to lie. I'm not going to hold you there. You're saying that there's different strokes for different folks in the medical field, but I've never experienced anything like this. I've never had cosmetic surgery, but I've had, you know, like my teeth and other things, and it's just it's never been a problem. It's never been awkward. It's never been weird. There's always been gloves and sterilization and new boxes opened when injections are being put in me.
>> He's using insulin syringes. Again, mind you, I'm in this business. So, is it wrong that they're doing this? Yes. Do a lot of companies do this? Yes. So, they'll take your bile of lip filler and they'll put it in an empty syringe so that they can use like half on you, half on somebody else. Cuz some people do only get half syringes. And they say that it's better in an insulin syringe than, you know, injecting it in the actual syringe that the product comes in. I don't even know what product he injected. I don't know if it was wrestling kiss. I don't know if it was Juvéderm. Didn't tell me. Um, he ended up poking me in two places. One right here, one right here. Didn't do anything on my bottom lip. Like, and then he was like, "Oh, I'm done."
And I was like so deflated, kind of like the nail salon. I didn't really want to say anything. He showed me in the mirror and he was like, "You just I just added a tiny bit of volume. I couldn't do much. You really need to fully dissolve them. Come back to me and fully dissolve them because I have a method to dissolving." And I was like, "They are dissolved. I just freaking dissolved them." Um, and he was like, "I ended up doing 0.3 on you." Then he charged me $300 for the 0.3. I was expecting a full 1 ml syringe. Okay, like half and half or however you want to do it. Um, so that was kind of annoying. Here is my after photo after. This is the same day that I got the filler. 2 hours after my appointment, this picture was taken. I have no swelling, no bumps, no bruising, no nothing. Nothing was put in me. I've still done nothing since.
Nothing was put in me. Um, he says it was 0.3. I'd be surprised if it was 0.1.
I mean, he literally poked in two tiny places, put gauze over my eyes, and then charged me. I ended up telling my sister what a waste of time it was. After my appointment, I went on TikTok and I went on Reddit to see if he's fraudulent because I was like, "What is he doing?"
I couldn't find anything. So, I was like, "Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I was feeling so deflated. Like, I just spent money even though it was $300.
And I feel like there's nothing." I went home, I was able to eat. I've gotten lip filler before. Like your lips hurt after. Even with half a ml, they hurt after. I had no pain, no no difficulty eating, no nothing. So, I'm so glad that I came across this video and now people are coming out saying that, you know, he's not really injecting your lips.
Crazy work. Crazy work. So, if anyone is in the Studio City area and wants to do my lips, any good injectors, drop your names. I'm ready to book a consultation.
I had my sister take the day off work so she could watch my twins. Um I'm just trying to look good postpartum, you know, and I feel like what he's doing is totally wrong. Not only did he waste your time, your money, he was risking your health. If a nurse herself seems to be somewhat okay with the red flags that she was seeing because different strokes for different folks, then who are we?
Who are we? It is just proof that you truly need to do your research. And if something seems wrong, do not hesitate.
Do not get scared. Call the person out.
Don't get the procedure done. I don't care how small it is. If it's something that's going to be injected inside of you, do not get it done if you are not 100% sure about it. He reminds me of that Tik Tok sound that says, "I hope you're hungry for nothing." because nothing is what he specializes in.
Somebody said he's a saline king. He's probably a water king. He's everything but freaking lip filler.
I feel deflated. And I didn't even get my lips done by him. Oh, wait. Yeah, I did. Everybody did. Look in the mirror right now. You probably have lip filler.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I was also scammed by the Lip King 3 weeks ago. I'm so glad I can finally talk about this because I thought I was [ __ ] crazy. So, I go to the Lip King 3 weeks ago. I have not had filler in 3 years. I had chin filler and I had lip filler done 3 years ago. So, it was definitely time for me to get it done.
My lips are basically back to the same size they were before I ever got filler.
So, I go in and his front desk person is asking me all these questions. I have to fill out forms. And he comes in and he looks at my lips and he's like, "You have migration." And I was like, "I don't feel like I have migration, but I'm not dissolving my lips. Like, that's not going to happen." Especially because my lips are literally the same size they were before I ever got lip filler done.
So he's like, "Okay, well, we'll go ahead and do the one syringe, 1 ml of filler." And I'm like, "Okay, cool." His receptionist puts numbing stuff on my lips, and I sit there for like 10 minutes. We go into the area to do the lip filler. And the first thing I noticed is he didn't really ask me what I was looking for. He didn't really engage with me at all. I was trying to ask him questions. He really wasn't giving me very many answers. So, I'm like, "Okay, maybe he's just like not that talkative. It's fine." So, just like everybody else, he does like 1, two, three, four little pokes in my lips. And I'm like, okay. And he was like, "We don't want to do too much because of your migration, but you're probably going to want an entire syringe when you come back." And I'm like, "Just give it to me now." Like, what do you mean? So, he's like, "No, just wait."
And I'm like, "Okay, well, do you do Botox? Like, I've been wanting my massitors done. Like, am I a candidate for that?" He tells me to bite down. I bite down and he was like, "No, you don't need it." And I'm like, "Okay, fine." So, I go into the car and I'm like, "They're not that much bigger, but maybe I'm just like my lips were smaller than I thought. Like, I might be losing my mind." So, I show my friend and she's like, "They look really good." And I'm like, "Yeah, but they're like almost too natural." And I kid you not, if you talk to her today, for the last 3 weeks, I've been saying, "I want my lips bigger.
Like, they're not what I paid for." So, over time, I've just been kind of looking at them and I'm like, "Okay, maybe I'm psyching myself out. Like, maybe the lip filler is just not there."
Like, I don't know what it is. So, I decide to book an appointment at Fix Me Up Med Spa. I just got one syringe of chin filler and I got my massador Botox because she was like, "You are definitely a candidate for it." And I told her like, "Hey, I got lip filler.
I'm not happy with it, but it hasn't been 2 weeks yet, so I don't want to I'm going to wait to like get some more."
And she's like, "Who did you go to?" I showed her and she's like, "He does great work." And I was like, "Yeah, but the experience is just like not great.
I'm not happy with my results. I'm not happy with how he spoke with me. Like it just wasn't a good situation." So, I'm going back to Fix Me Up Med Spa, which is an incredible med spa. Um, my injector, I think her name's Haley. I forgot. I have a really bad memory. But I'm going back to them next week to get more chin filler and more lip filler because I'm just so pissed that I paid $500 for my lips to look the exact same.
The healing process was also a big red flag because I had one little bitty bruise right here. And you know, if you get lip injections, you're going to have a bruise. My chin is still bruised and I got it done a week and a half ago. I can definitely show you before and afters to settle this whole the lip king scamming situation. But I first want to say that if you've been following me for a very very long time, you understand that I am constantly talking about integrity. I'm a big advocate for integrity, for injustices in the world, for talking about people who do not have access to certain things, like all of those things. So, please know that I'm not bringing this up in a dystopian way. I understand that I chose to get my lips done. I chose this person that I went to, but it's not the end of the world.
And the only reason I'm talking about it is because I don't like anybody scamming anybody. Especially if you're a trusted medical professional and you say that you're doing one thing and you do the opposite. That is not okay. These are my lips before I ever got any injections done. This was back in like 2019. My lips are very small, uneven, so I wanted injections. This is my very first time getting injections done with one full syringe. This was during the healing process. Like, can you see how [ __ ] swollen they got and the bruises that I have? Like, they got super big, right?
These pictures are terrible, but this is another angle. As you can see, I had some migration. I got that fixed. So, about a year or two later, I went and got my lips fixed. And this is like not a full syringe, but pretty much all of it. Look at my lips. They look amazing.
These are my lips like 3 weeks before I went to the lip king to get my lips done. And these were my lips as soon as I left. And I was like, it looks like I got lip plumper, but I was also psyching myself out. Like, I wasn't sure. And this was me like maybe last week. And what change do we see? None. I didn't get what I paid for. I don't think anybody got what they paid for. And I don't like scammers. So, I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I know you guys keep telling me to file a class action lawsuit. I'm just might dispute the charge. I don't know. I'm trying to get the right amount of information about what was actually injected in me before I make my next step. But it's not the end of the world. I understand that this is like very privileged for me to be complaining about lip injection, but I want people to be aware so they don't make the same choice that I did. I understand the whole feeling like she's very privileged to even be complaining about lip filler. How I take it is health. Your health was on the line.
Your health is on the line. Your health could be on the line because no one knows what is being injected in your lips. And that is a scary thought to have. And if I'm having a scary thought, imagine the scary feeling to have when you've been a victim of the scammer.
We're going to get into another video of a lady named Gabby who went to the Lip King. She literally shows her journey going there. This was before she realized who the lip king was. And I was watching that video panicking like, "Oh my gosh, does she not know what's happening? Does she not know what's happening?" And then I went and I found a part two where she finally realized, "Oh, this guy is a scammer."
>> Come with me to go get my lips dissolved. If you didn't know, I got my lips done about 3 weeks ago at a med spa in Orange County. And unfortunately, I do not love the results. I did end up getting a vertical line on the side of my lip. The camera doesn't really pick it up, but I'm not happy with it. it and I noticed it the day I got my lips done.
I let swelling go down and it's still there. So, I found the lip king on TikTok the same night I got my lips done after spiraling and absolutely had to come see him because his work is beautiful. Um, so I'm here at Ranchukamonga. I'm going to see what his opinion is, get my lips dissolved and have him redo them in a couple.
just finished. I look absolutely insane.
My lips are still a little bit numb and extremely swollen, but um here they are.
Crazy. Um this should go down in a couple days. I'm going to come back in about 2 weeks to have them refilled. But Johnny was great. His assistant, um Wendy was great. She's the one who did the dissolving of my lips. Um pain very minimal. My eyes did water every now and then, but um nothing terrible at all.
But yeah, so here they are and I can't wait to start hover. Okay, so I have been home for about 4 hours and the swelling has gone significantly down. I was warned that I potentially would swell for a day or two, but I'm I'm chilling. Like my lips feel so good. They don't feel like so overly full anymore, and everything is going down. It's healing nicely and I'm excited to see my lips when we add filler back in in a couple weeks. So, let's talk about the elephant in the room. If you have been online this week or have been on lip filler Tik Tok this week, you'll know that there has been some controversy, some drama surrounding Johnny the Lip King. When I came to this appointment, we discussed what my goals are, what I wanted. Um, and yeah, that was pretty much it. But before he began injecting, he did ask me to stop filming. And he did let me know.
It's because it makes him nervous. At the time, I didn't think anything of it.
And to this day now, giving him the benefit of the doubt, I also would feel nervous if somebody was filming while I was injecting them in the lips. Um, but I was respectful and turned my camera off. It's just so weird considering that he's always on TikTok promoting himself and filming his injections or some parts of his filming what he wants people to see and not really what goes on behind the scenes.
But it's also not odd. When I had my um skin tested for something, they like poked or whatever. I was asking like, "Oh, can I film it?" I just wanted to see I was being a weirdo and she was like, "It's going to get in the way."
And I understood it that it would get in the way. But for him to say it makes him feel awkward, that's a little odd considering that you're pretty much an influencer now, Johnny. You're an influencer, babes.
So, why are you nervous? Oh, possibly because she's going to catch you in something anyway. And then afterwards is when we both turned our phones back on to capture my reaction. And you can see it on his page and you can see it on my page. Um, I absolutely loved my results.
Loved them. They looked exactly with what I asked for. I wanted him to fix um some a symmetry issue and I wanted just a slight pout. Um, and I didn't think anything of it. Again, documented my experience. I had somebody comment on that video asking how many mls he used. And I didn't even ask truthfully during my appointment. Um during my appointment, he already had the syringes ready to go and they were administered through an insulin res an insulin syringe. Um and I'm going to include a little screen shot of my footage from that day. you.
It's going to be a little bit hard to tell, but um you can see that there's a tray to my left with what appears to be boxes of uh lifiller. I did not see him grab these boxes. I did not see him reconstitute anything or remove filler from a syringe or put it in an insulin syringe. These syringes were already ready to go to my knowledge cuz the four pokes that he did was so quick. Um, and so after my appointment, I had DM'd him asking how much he used, and he said 0.8 ml, and I paid for a full syringe at this point. 2.
Not going to ask for a discount, but like it is what it is. I paid the 4.95 promo price. Um, and this is truly my first lip filler experience, aside from the lady who overfilled my lips like weeks prior to that. Um, so I didn't really know what to look for, what to ask or any of that. Should have done my own research, but whoops. Um, so yeah, how I feel about my lips now, I thought they were honestly a couple weeks ago I was just like, hm, they kind of look the same as prior to me getting my lips ever filled.
And I've been going through old Tik Tok videos of myself prior to ever touching my lips. Been going through old photos trying to like compare what I have now to then. And the more I keep looking at it, the more they do look the same. I don't know if I'm just gaslighting myself or what, but these are my lips with no makeup product on it whatsoever.
I have naturally full lips. I will insert a photo of my lips prior to them ever being touched. Um, and the reason why I was kind of skeptical the other week about how much filler was actually used or why I might need or why I feel like I might need some more is because I still have lines right here.
Yeah. Um, in my opinion, I would have liked just a hair more if I actually have filler of my lips. If I don't, I'm really, really confused. Um, but that's basically my experience. I don't know how to feel about it. I'm still genuinely confused and genuinely don't know if I had lip filler or not because I did I want something very natural and just to enhance what I already have.
Um, I did send him a DM this morning. It is Saturday the 25th and requested my medical records for both the day of the dissolving and the lit filler and this was the response.
I am typically not one to speak out or make an opinion on something until I hear both sides. Um, obviously Johnny and his team have been pretty silent.
I'm assuming because he's seeking legal legal assistance, understandably so. But yeah, um if all of this is said and done and comes out to be true, I'm very concerned as to what was injected into my face or my lips rather.
Um and that was $500 down the drain. So yeah, that's how I feel about it. Um, you can share your opinions on whether you think I had lip filler or not. I don't know.
Like like in my opinion, I just wish they were like like that much more. I know it's like kind of crazy, but my opinion is that he probably just gave you the illusion of lip filler. He gave you the placebo effect of a lip filler. He probably just put lidocaine. You couldn't feel your lips for a couple of hours and that was it. Who knows? He probably put 3. He probably put 2. He probably put 0.1. No one knows. And that's what's scary.
Something I want to add on to is the whole syringe situation where a lot of his patients aren't seeing him open new syringes or even open them at all. They just see them laid out already. I know that some medical providers don't show their patients syringes because it gets their anxiety up and all this other stuff. It's not the biggest red flag, but I think what it comes down to is transparency. When your patients want to know what you used, how much you use, and all this stuff, you should be open and honest, and there shouldn't be any back and forth really. So, it all comes down to transparency. Let me know what you guys think of this entire mess in the comment section down below, and I'll see you guys next time. Quick update, I went on Instagram threads and found this picture of Johnny holding Juvéderm, which is an injectable dermal filler.
Probably the first and last time he held it, and it was most likely for promo because apparently he's not injecting anybody with anything. Also, some people have come out saying that before they realized he was going to disappear, he was sending emails claiming that he would refund them. Well, those refunds allegedly never happened. A surprise, a surprise. Anyway, see y'all next time.
