T-Rex's extremely short arms resulted from evolutionary trade-offs where energy was redirected from limb development to skull and jaw growth, as the massive predator relied on its powerful head for hunting rather than using arms for grasping prey.

Oh my god.
We all don't like doing that.
I this I need the resistance to be different.
I don't know if I can do it so far down.
Follow me.

They can be just flowing off in the lake or grazing throughout the valley in large groups or herds.
Follow me. Follow me. Guys, this Look, do you know what?
Just like a minute ago, so Good afternoon.
I did. Yeah.
>> Well, T-Rex is an extreme among extremes.
It's an outlier among outliers.
Its entire family is very weird. The Tyrannosaurs have very strong heads as a whole.
And they are relatively big, but they were still, compared to T-Rex, quite fast, quite agile animals.
T-Rex took that idea of a massive predator with a strong head and smaller arms and kind of went into overdrive because it I think I'm right saying it was probably the only giant animal for thousands of miles. When we say that an animal only has a certain budget, so an energy budget is like how much it gets in from food every day.
So, that because there's only a certain amount of food energy that an animal can take in, there's only so much there is to go around.
And if it needs all of that energy to maintain its equipment for hunting, like a very strong, very heavy skull, it doesn't really want to Evolution doesn't want to use it for anything else.
So, it kind of says, "Okay, we'll take away from the arms because the arms aren't really much use to us anymore.
They're not using them as a hunting hunting uh thing.
We'll put all of that energy into growing a bigger, stronger skull." I don't know how likely that is cuz you're trying to lift up an 8-ton animal with arms no bigger than a human.
It's like that's interesting, but it's it's something that is a scientific hypothesis that could be tested.
