My Daughter was lifelighted after a car wreck

[00:00:07]>> On September 9th, 2024, while I was vacationing in Kiraasal, I got a test me a text message at that time from my son stating that his wife had got into a car accident and she was unconscious and lifellighted to Memorial Herman downtown. You could imagine my response when I heard that news. I was way across the country and at this time my son and my daughter-in-law needed me home. So needless to say, I booked the first flight home. After the accident, her GCS stayed three for weeks. GCS of three just means that she was not awake. She was not alert. She was not responding to pain and eventually she started responding to pain. If you want to hear the full story, it is on my son and daughter-in-law's page of her accident and her recovery. 200 days later, she finally spoke to us. Now, it is almost 500 days later and she has graduated from rehab, y'all. And today, we celebrate her. My heart is so happy that my son was able to bear all of these things, support his wife 100%. We're celebrating him and we're celebrating her today. And I hope you guys enjoy the footage that I'm able to capture. We are leaving the house, but I didn't do a get ready with me cuz we were running late.

[00:01:18]Actually, we're still running late. So, since this was so last minute, y'all, I'm at Kroger's to get them some flowers. I don't want them to have to carry nothing too big home. I was going to get like balloons and all these things, but it's already a lot going on.

Y'all don't sleep on Kroger's flowers and don't sleep on grocery store flowers cuz I love me grocery store flowers. Watching them grow.
