The fatty poultry parts exported cheaply from the US after rejection there continues selling in markets like in Sawam, Wenchi Junction, Suhum, and Nkrumah Circle despite Which which Nkrumah Circle is it you say?

And there's a little article here that says um turkey tail is marketed selectively to Pacific Island communities throughout in the I mean throughout the US. So, basically some people in the US do not eat it, and it's only mostly the Pacific Island territories and as well as independent nations, said a University of Michigan researcher. And she said many islanders think the turkey tail is delicious. And basically I think islanders think like Africans. They think the turkey tail is delicious. It's also cheap, but far from nutritious. It's full of fat and cholesterol and contributes to one of the major health problems facing Pacific Islanders, and that is obesity.

[00:09:00]So, So, so I think there's a point. So, another big question I also want to ask.

[00:09:12]And and I can say about 70 to 80 people, I don't have the statistics, I've not done any research, but 70 to 80 people who buy willy will definitely buy willy in there because they need to see the willy dancing somewhere in there. But, what is the nutritional value?

Who import this product? Yeah.

So, actually, the statement from the FDA The Food and Drugs Authority has reminded the public about the ban on importation of Tek Tail, commonly known as "Trophy" in Ghana. Despite the ban, which was instituted 1999 due to Tek Tail's excessively high fat content and associated health risk, it's still in many markets uh where it's openly sold. So, I underline the word "openly sold." So, if FDA goes there, they will see the people who are selling them.

[00:31:18]>> In a public notice issued yesterday, the Food and Drugs Authority stated that the ban was instituted to cover Tek Tail and other poultry product with over 15% fat content. So, there are other poultry products. So, let's know the other poultry products as well. The health risk FDA highlighted that the consumption of such products uh poses serious health risk, including obesity, high cholesterol, and heart-related diseases. The ban forms part of efforts to promote healthier um eating habit and protect public health. The advice to the public The FDA therefore advises the public to stay away from these products, the authority's statement stated. The public is encouraged to make informed food choices and prioritize their health by avoiding banned or unwholesome poultry product.

To to even check your cholesterol level too. Even know that yeah, you know, all this chofi I've been consuming, nothing is wrong with me. Because most of the times we we we we get to think that because we cannot feel anything happening to our bodies, we are healthy.
