And some of what it costs, you don't even notice you've lost until it's been gone for a long time.
Even though I'd started noticing the signs that I was teetering on the edge of burnout about a year ago in May of 2025, and I'd started to take some steps to shift what I was doing to prevent an all-out burnout, I didn't fully get to the I can't do this anymore until this past January.
