UFC Fighters Secret: Turn Suffering Into Success | Aiemann Zahabi on The Framework Podcast追加:
Without that lesson, I wouldn't be one of the best defensive strikers in UFC history.
>> Number one right now. Yeah. I haven't looked back, man. Listen, uh it's been great. You know, it does it had its downsides. Like there was a couple of years where I lost a couple of fights in a row and it was like I got embarrassed, you know, I got KO'ed and like a very low probability type uh strike, a spinning elbow, which doesn't happen very often, but I got caught with it.
And it was more I feel like because of my own ego, like I just threw caution to the wind. But, you know, without that lesson, I wouldn't be one of the best defensive strikers in UFC history.
>> Number one right now.
>> Yeah. So, it's like every everything that happens that's negative. It can be a positive in the long run. You know, just cuz it's negative short term doesn't mean it's negative long term.
And that's kind of like my advice for the next generation. Uh not necessarily only for fighting, but for anything you want to achieve.
Life has suffering built in.
>> Yeah. And it's only cruel if you're doing something you don't want to do.
But if it's something you're passionate about and you want to succeed in it, you can find joy in that suffering. Because the more suffer the more you suffer, when you actually get the taste of reward, it you can't quantify how good it feels, right? But if it feels cruel and whatever, when you get the rewards, you don't feel like it's enough. Like imagine getting paid a million dollars uh a year to do something so mundane that you can't stand and every day you hate your life. You know, the million dollars is not really worth a million dollars, you know, >> percent.
>> So, you might as well do something you like even if if it costs you less. Like you know like a lot of fighters complain about you know like uh fighter pain and all
