This video demonstrates how to critically evaluate claims about space missions by examining evidence rather than accepting emotional arguments or conspiracy theories. The presenter analyzes Level Earth Observer's criticism of the Artemis 2 mission, showing how the critic uses circular reasoning (claiming Earth is not a globe, therefore space missions are fake), personal incredulity (dismissing footage because it looks unusual), and name-calling without providing concrete evidence. The video explains that space footage often appears unusual due to the absence of atmosphere, different lighting conditions, and camera behavior in microgravity, which can make real footage seem like CGI. The presenter emphasizes that legitimate scientific criticism requires specific examples and evidence, not just insults or emotional appeals.

When You Make The Strangest Argument Against Space That Anyone Has Ever HeardAdded:
It's now been two months since the Arteimus 2 mission and even though we've looked through an incredible amount of reactions, there is one man who's still trying his best to discredit it. His name is Level Earth Observer and ironically he's claiming that Artemus 2 is in damage control mode.
Hello all and welcome along to another episode of Tim Ford Tuesday with me, Simon Dan. Thanks very much for joining me. Okay, on with today's video then, which as you'll know from the intro comes from Level Earth Observer. As I said, he feels that Arteimus 2 is now in damage control territory, which ironically feels a little bit like what he's doing, considering the fact that Artimus 2 was a successful mission. We join him as he listens to the crew on stage once the mission has ended. Here we go.
This Arteimus 2 mission's been cringe and desperate, and the desperation continues in cheesy forms of damage control. Listen to this.
>> What you saw was a group of people who loved contributing, having meaningful contribution and extracting joy out of that. And what we've been hearing is that was something special for you to witness. The reason I >> Oh, you gave us great pleasure, mate.
Your mission was so bad and so littered with mistakes that you've awoken the sleeping general populace up to the fact you guys are full of nonsense.
Now, Level Earth Observer says the mission was bad, desperate, and littered with mistakes, but gives us no examples at all. Now, of course, we've seen some of his examples in previous videos, and they were all comprehensively proven wrong. So, if you're going to claim that a multi-billion dollar mission is in damage control, you need a lot more than just insults here, my friend. Now, the clip he shows here is simply the astronauts talking positively about working on the mission. Now, that's not damage control. That's just people reflecting on the project in general.
>> Well, I thank you for that.
And what we've been hearing is that was something special for you to witness. Oh yes.
>> The reason I had them form up here with me is because I would suggest to you that when you look up here, you're not looking at us. We are a mirror reflecting you.
>> And if you like what you see, then just look a little deeper. This is you.
>> Nah, you are not me. I'm not a silly pantomime character wearing a boiler suit trying to tell people physical reality is wrong. Nah. So I don't look in the mirror and see you when I see you. When I look on the screen, I see like what I see. Pantomime characters in boiler suits trying to fool the naive general public into believing physical reality is wrong because of firework display and a sci-fi movie. Ridiculous.
So instead of responding to any actual evidence, we've moved into name calling.
Pantomime characters in boiler suits.
Brilliant. But insults aren't arguments.
And I think he completely misses the point of what's being said here anyway.
They weren't literally claiming to be you. They were saying the mission represents the work of hundreds of thousands of people behind the scenes.
Engineers, coders, technicians. You know, the boring reality that conspiracy theories tend to ignore. This is to me is is an alltime low space. It's embarrassing. And like I say, this is just cheesy damage control trying to get into your on an emotional level. Now, if you're watching this video and you truly believe this has proven something, this mission, then you are deluded. If you think I'm on some sort of cope mission, you are deluded. I just stand by the things that are physically true. That's how I know at a fun fundamental level that this mission is nonsense anyway because they portray the earth as a bull which is physically impossible. So you are the deluded one. You're the one who's coping that sight in a sci-fi movie is proof that physical reality is wrong. You need to deal with it. It's a psychological issue. You're literally denying the things that are physically true because of hearsay beliefs. I'm sorry that will be tough for you to digest, but it is what it is. Notice what's happened here. We've gone from Arteimus is in damage control to Earth can't be a globe, therefore Arteimus is fake.
That's some real good circular reasoning there, Level Earth observer. He already believes that Earth is not a globe. So, anything involving space then gets rejected automatically. And calling everyone else deluded isn't an argument either. I'm afraid that confidence is not evidence. Once again, he's saying here that people are deluded and coping and have a psychological issue. But again, there's no evidence here from Level Earth Observer, just labels. Your heroes are characters who appear on screen. Thespians in boiler suits trying to tell you reality is wrong because of a sci-fi movie and a firework display. It's ridiculous.
Nobody believes space is real because someone showed up in a space suit on a screen. The claim has to deal with the actual evidence, the launches, the tracking data, the communication, the engineering, the independent verification. Calling it a sci-fi movie doesn't magically make all of that stuff disappear.
And now, hot off the press, we've had this released.
iPhone footage supposedly from space as these thespians in boiler suits orbited the moon. Look as usual. Can't see any land masses. Of course, we'll put aside the fact the globe is physically impossible, but I can't help but noticing the dark side of the moon appears very much like a computer graphic or CGI. Did he just say you can't see any land masses? Um, most of the planet is hidden behind the moon here, Level Earth Observer. And his argument with how the moon looks in this image is basically it looks weird to me, therefore CGI. Now, that is classic personal incredul. Space footage often does look a little bit unusual. There's no atmosphere. Lighting behaves quite differently. And cameras can struggle with extreme contrast.
>> Would you look at that, man?
>> Wow.
>> Wow.
Dude, dude, physical reality is wrong cuz I starred in a sci-fi movie. Dude, get real, mate. Is it me or does Level Earth Observer sound a bit triggered in this video? I think he does, doesn't he?
Well, not content with trying to take down the Arteimus 2 footage. Recently, Levelville Earth Observer has gone after his favorite little pep project again, the International Space Station.
Apparently, he's found a problem with some ISS footage. Of course you have, buddy. Let's check it out, shall we?
So, we're back with the ISS. We've got a short 30-cond clip here we're going to look at. We'll put aside the silly hairspray fetish here. Now, if the environment itself that these people claimed to be in created her hair to be like that and it wasn't hairspray, then matey boy's mustache and his hair would also want to be entertained in that silliness. But it's not. It's always the women and it's always a hairspray fetishdriven pantomime of deceit to get people to believe in silly things like space stations orbiting globes in a vacuum.
All physically impossible. I'm sorry, but is he suggesting here that this guy's mustache should be flying off if they really are on the International Space Station? Really? Hair behaves differently depending on loads of things. Length, texture, stiffness, products used, weight. Long hair floats dramatically in microgravity. Short hair and mustaches often don't. Is level Earth Observer all right here, do we think?
>> Excuse me. No one doubts the sky observation which is cited as the ISS seen it myself with me own eyes but that doesn't mean physical reality is wrong does it come on let's get sensible about this but let's entertain this short clip let's put aside all those things and entertain this sci-fi clip watch the woman here halfway through something bit strange happens to her almost like she has a lifting device failure here she gets slightly twanged and tugged upwards I think right now we're uh we're heading southeast over the Pacific Ocean. Uh but one of the great things about being up here is that every 90 minutes we do an orbit, we get to see a new piece of the Earth below us. And like Jessica was saying, uh it uh it changes constantly and it's just such a wonderful view out the window. Uh >> very strange. And again, was it strange though? So she moved upward by about a meter on board the International Space Station in microgravity. I'm struggling to see the smoking gun here. In that environment, tiny movements matter. A small push, shifting your body, brushing against something. All of those can send you drifting. And because there's no gravity pulling you back down, you just keep moving. Calling it a lifting device failure is doing a lot of heavy lifting itself, my friend.
>> Be a new piece of the earth below us.
And like Jessica was saying, uh it uh it changes constantly and it's just such a wonderful view out the window. Uh >> yeah, but you just never ever show us, mate. Do you? If I was there and this environment was real and all of these stories were true, I'd take a camera up there and film it for everyone on Earth to see. What you mean? Like this?
>> Would you look at that, man?
>> Wow.
>> Wow.
Dude, >> just saying matey >> was saying uh it uh it changes constantly and it's just such a wonderful view out the window uh every time no matter >> and one more time >> piece of the earth below us and like Jessica was saying uh it uh it changes constantly. It's just such a wonderful view out the window.
>> Very strange.
>> Yeah, you can see she adjusts her feet just before pushing off the floor of the ISS. Open and shut case if you ask me.
>> It's almost like her lifting device failed. She kind of didn't expect that.
Matey boy kept his cool mustache and all. But overall, it's the same old shambolic silliness that only falls by into now. We're at a stage now where this Arteimus mission has woken up many sleepers to the fact that institutions, big institutions, don't necessarily have your best interest at heart and aren't necessarily telling the truth as this so called Moonlanding Artimus 2 has proven.
So bad was that in this age of modern technology, like I said, even deep sleepers now have like scratching their head wondering what's going on. What's hilarious to me here is when he says Artimus has woke up many sleepers. How? Where's the evidence for that? The polling, the data. Is this a measurable shift in public opinion or just a feeling you have? Why do all the people who seem to think Arteimus 2 was faked seem to also think that the public opinion is changing on space travel and that more and more people are waking up to fake space missions? Now, is it because they are? Or is it because, and it's probably this one, all the people who think the Artimus 2 mission was faked are all listening to each other and hearing each other's opinions and then confirmation biases on survival mode. I know which one I think's happening. Well, there we go everyone.
Another episode of Tim for Tuesday all wrapped up for another week. I do hope you enjoyed that one. Please do let me know in the comments below what you thought of Level Earth Observers videos.
As I say, we're all done and dusted for another one. Thank you so much as ever for watching. If you enjoyed it, please do consider subscribing to the channel, hitting the thumbs up button, too. I've been Simon Dan. Have yourselves a great day and I'll see you on Thursday. See you then.
