Whenever I interact with a fan in person, they let me know how much I've impacted them and inspired them. It really makes me realize it's way bigger than basketball. I was actually writing in my journal last night before bed. Let me pull out what I wrote to myself. Your impact on the world is way bigger than what a pro hooper is defined under. Your purpose is helping people live healthier and fulfilling lives where they feel more at peace dayto-day where they can be more fit, healthy, and embody a more positive outlook on life. That's your purpose. I just finished my 17th book of gains, as I call it, volume 17. Just as you can see, this one lasted me from last July 2025.
So, while my own goals haven't changed, it just reminds me the journey is the reward. By the time you guys watch this video, moves will have been made. But what won't change is I'm going to continue to work and keep spreading good vibes in this universe. Keep trying to help help people live better lives. I'm going to be working to put out more content that people can benefit from.
Whether that's training, nutrition, everyday habits, mindset, journaling, drinking tea, just stuff I I have tried myself and I think can help one on their own journey. And I'm by no means perfect cuz every step of the way I try to self analyze, you know, why did this happen?
What could you have done better? But it just goes to show you can do all the right things, but the outcome isn't what you desire for. you're able to still see the vision because not everyone does.
You got to see the vision and keep working towards it. And if someone doesn't see the vision and they're trying to put you down and for whatever reason their own biases, they're hating or they don't want the best for you, then [ __ ] them. I try not to swear cuz they're kids watching. But like, you got to have that mentality where I'm going to try to keep the vibes positive, but you know, sometimes sharing the lows is what's real. So, I'm just going to share what's happening. Obviously, I can't go too in depth into the the BS, but what matters is we trying to be great. We're striving for greatness. And so, greatness awaits and it's on the other side of putting in work and continuing to be a good person every day. So, GDS about to go get some gains. Catch you in the next one.

One small win for today was I was able to jump off my left foot harder than I have, you know, the many weeks prior cuz I've actually been dealing with a little bit of knee issues the last few months. Not not serious, but it would flare up sometimes if I didn't warm up properly and then had a sharp change of direction. And so I've been really focusing on building up the knee again, doing these exercises. And today was, you know, first day jumping hard off of it. I probably didn't jump off like 110% like I can slam off my right leg cuz if you watch my videos, you know I jump actually higher off my right leg. But my goal this off season and including these next few months is to train my left leg up to get back to where I was before and more importantly just be able to jump hard AF off of it and not have any issues. So windmill off one off left leg is one of the goals I wrote out. And today I was able to, you know, grab rim with two hands with ease, no pain. And so it's a good step cuz I've really been training my knee pretty well the last, you know, one or two weeks. And so I feel the difference and just got to keep it up. Afternoon had some live reps with the youth team. So that was good. got some on ball reps, you know, be able to play, do my thing.
So, overall a good day. It's always It always feels good when I get a good day of training. And I also got got to get some sun as well after the uh afternoon session cuz in our practice gym in the afternoon or usually from noon to afternoon between different sides of the practice gym, sunlight will come in through the windows. And so you could probably see in the morning during the core workout, you see some of the light coming in and then in the afternoon it'll shine in through the weight room.
And so around 400 pmish, 5:00 pm, a lot of sun comes in. So it it it actually was nice as well. Always feels good getting sun on the body. I know it definitely helps. And so any chance I can get some sun, I try to make the most of it. It helps you stay positive as well. It's a real thing. Anyways, about to edit some videos later. First, I got to go eat dinner cuz I haven't eaten dinner yet. All I had was uh some protein and carbs just now.
Right when I got back, I took a shower, did a quick compression boots, got some work done, replied to messages, sent some video edits to my editors. The next few weeks, I'm really trying to build out all my online stuff. I've been reading a good book lately, and one of the main takeaways is outsourcing all the stuff that is not the best use of my time. And so I want to focus on creating and outputting content as much as possible, but but the goal is for me to do as little editing as possible. Even though I can do it, it's just not the best use of my time. Cuz that bit of time, I could be doing something else. I can be planning content. I can be actually filming content, creating more pieces of useful information in a way that benefits more people. And so I'm really trying to build out my online content, the online programs, the GDS goods store, as well as coming out with a few more products the next few months.
Also been slacking on the podcast, which is, you know, normal cuz I've been in season and, you know, shit's happened, but want to keep that up as well. And so there's a lot of things on my plate, but it's not too much. It's it's all a matter of time management, energy management, and so I have it all written out and I'm hiring people to help me with that. So So in the future, it's going to be all under control. I'll be able to spend less time on it. Just going to keep building. And so yeah, GDS, look at this setup.
