This video report from TSN reveals that despite Moscow's claims of a ceasefire, Russian forces launched over 140 shellings and more than 850 drone strikes on Ukrainian positions in a single day, resulting in significant civilian casualties including 65 children wounded in the Sunumi region alone. Ukrainian defense forces have demonstrated effective countermeasures, destroying 1,130 Russian soldiers, 1 tank, 17 armored vehicles, 100 artillery systems, and nearly 2,000 drones. The report also details the repair process for damaged armored vehicles, where specialists restore equipment damaged by FPV drone attacks, and provides frontline insights from the 82nd Air Assault Brigade commander describing Russian tactics of small infantry groups moving on foot and the declining morale of Russian forces due to poor training and lack of logistics support.

President of Ukraine Vadmir Zalinski reported during the night. The occupiers launched 10 assaults, mostly in the Slovian direction, and carried out more than 850 strikes using various drones.
All of this clearly indicates the Russian side is not even trying to imitate a ceasefire on the front. the president emphasized. He added, "Today, just like yesterday, Ukraine will act in a mirrored manner. We will defend our positions and the lives of our people."
Russia killed four people in Donetsk region. Three more were wounded as a result of shelling over the past day.
Two civilians were killed in Doorilia.
The occupiers killed one person in Katrsk. They struck with FPV drones and three KAB bombs. Another civilian was killed in the village of Myaki. One person was wounded by the Russians in Duskfka. They attacked with drones and an FPV drone also injured a person in Yarova. Slovansk was also under attack from Kabi bombs and drones yesterday.
Overall, as a result of the shelling in Donetsk region yesterday, 18 sites were destroyed. Residential buildings, businesses, 10 settlements came under fire.
65 children wounded in a month. The youngest child is one year old. These were the consequences of Russian attacks on the Sunumi region in April. According to police data, the Russians shelled 44 communities in the region, and the number of strikes is only increasing each month. During April, the enemy attacked the Sunumi region more than 2,100 times. Every day, the Emanvelico, Krasnopilia, Yunaka, and Sunumi communities were under fire. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sunumi and Shka districts. It was in Sunumi during strikes on residential buildings on April 4th, 10th, and 21st that 65 children were injured. According to the military administration, the enemy mostly uses glide bombs and various types of attack drones. Russians use missiles and artillery against the Smi region somewhat less frequently.
By morning, the enemy was missing personnel, 1,130 of their soldiers, according to the general staff. Our defense forces also destroyed the following over the past day. One tank, 17 armored fighting vehicles, and 100 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, and as many as five air defense assets, eight ground robotic complexes, and nearly 2,000 operational tactical level drones.
They repair damaged vehicles and return them to service. Next, we'll show how the repair crew of the 79th Brigade restores a Striker armored vehicle. Its main purpose is to transport assault groups to their positions. During such missions, the equipment regularly comes under attack from enemy drones. How the restoration process works and who is involved in it. More in the following report. There will be a QR code to help our defenders. Funds are needed for vehicle repairs and components for ground robotic systems in order to save as many of our soldiers lives as possible.
>> On the way to the positions, this striker encountered a swarm of enemy drones. tried to stop the vehicle and reach the defenders.
>> The enemy at this very moment is aiming at the engine.
The primary objective of this action is to completely immobilize the vehicle, effectively prevent our troops from leaving it quickly, and ultimately inflict significantly greater losses upon us. In other words, they are not targeting with just one FPV drone, but several. So right now, while we still have additional protection as we reinforce it ourselves, they try to break through the first layer of defense with one FPV.
Then with a second and third, they aim to disable the vehicle to make it stop.
>> Thanks to the dense welding, the vehicle withtood the attack, but before the next deployment, it needs repairs.
Immediately after this significant impact, the jet caused a minor amount of damage to the onboard electrical systems and equipment. We have electricians who went over everything and replaced several sensors.
We carefully put it all back together, thoroughly checked every single detail, and there are absolutely no issues at all.
>> Ahead is the final inspection, and the vehicle will be ready to go out again.
>> At this particular stage of the process, we are also going to perform a comprehensive test drive, running the machinery through its full cycle to ensure everything is in perfect working order. We really don't expect to encounter any significant issues with its various functions or operational capabilities. Primarily because this is high quality imported European equipment that is considerably more modern and advanced than the systems we currently have in place. There is quite a lot of sophisticated technology involved here.
Electronics here.
We've done everything now. Replaced what was needed. Today I'm planning to finish it and hand it over to our units for their missions. It will carry out its combat tasks.
>> Equipment comes to the specialists of the repair company every day, says Deputy Company Commander Vodir Kuzno. It happens literally every single day that the vehicle goes out. Somewhere in some unit, it inevitably gets hit or damaged.
There are usually just not enough highly trained technical specialists available to handle it.
The engine or components that can be disabled. The first thing they do is stop the vehicle. Then they try to burn it. finish it off and prevent us from evacuating it from this area.
>> But the paratroopers still manage to evacuate the armored vehicles. And then the specialists from the repair company get to work.
>> The guys here are all regular people.
Most of them are mobilized. They come in and we try to select the right.
Those who have experience working with machinery. Our unit is quite diverse.
There you can do more than just repairs.
But mainly we try to choose people with experience.
>> We provide training for them ourselves.
dispatch a lot of people abroad for further training.
>> The unit performs a range of tasks that allow vehicles to be quickly returned to service, says its commander, Yuri Kravitz. We >> carry out repair work, replacing units and assemblies, fixing minor faults, repairing the chassis, replacing components such as the engine, gearbox, and smaller units up to four units.
everything else that is already a major overhaul which is sent to the factory.
>> Because most of the equipment comes from abroad, the supply of spare parts affects the repair time, says Yuri.
>> It depends on the extent of the damage.
On average, it takes up to 5 days. The longest process is the defect inspection.
As soon as they collect the spare parts, they will deliver them to us. This is the delivery of spare parts. In addition to direct repairs, specialists from the repair company of the 79th Brigade equip combat vehicles with additional armor, which protects paratroopers on the battlefield every day. Ukraine will simplify the process of obtaining temporary residence for foreigners who are fighting or want to join the defense forces. This was announced by Prime Minister Julius Virenko. The government wants to eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy for people who are defending our country.
According to the certificate, temporary residence will be granted for the entire duration of the contract and for another 6 months after its completion. The government has regulated the situation when a foreigner cannot renew their passport. This is due to the need to contact the aggressor state or a country that does not recognize Ukraine's territorial integrity. In such cases, documents can be submitted even with an expired passport. One of the hottest areas of the front is in our focus today. This is Alexandriki. Let me remind you this is the junction of the Nepropetk, Donetsk and Zaporia regions.
We are discussing the situation there with Yhenni Chikmeestro, commander of the airmobile battalion of the 82nd separate air assault bukavina brigade of the eighth air assault corps. Greetings to you Mr. Yehenni.
>> Good morning. Greetings to you. But first of all, I would like to draw the viewers attention to the fact that we have the details. We have the all Ukrainian platform friends.
We talk about it all the time. We constantly ask Ukrainians to donate to help the sha. You can make either a onetime donation or subscribe to support various units. Today I ask you to support the 82nd brigade. So Mr. Yevan Holovki recently said that Horoc wants to create a so-called buffer zone in the Denipro Petrovsk region. Do you see any signs of this?
And in general, what can you tell us about the situation in the area of responsibility of your particular unit?
>> There are certain signs. The enemy continues to build up forces using the tactic of small groups. However, due to their lack of success, they are forced to bring in personnel, one or two servicemen at a time, at different times of the day, so to speak.
Obviously, everything is detected, targeted, and destroyed, but they do not abandon their attempts. That is if previously they moved along the same routes. Now they are trying to change their routes to move let's say through the junctions of units along the flanks to enter from both the west and the east. But they have no success. Well, it was already known that they were trying to build up their potential there and in principle it was expected where they have no success. They are forced to switch to more specific actions. If before they used to travel and intensively use motorcycles over the course of a single day he was killed in the area let's say of about 1 kilometer and these attempts amounted to about five or six tries during the day. Then he started moving on foot just as he is doing now. The intensity of motorcycle use has decreased significantly due to the losses suffered by the enemy.
>> But the SOP spokesperson reports that in April the enemy increased its combat activity in the Alexandrika direction.
The number of assaults and combat engagements has increased. Do you feel this on your front as well? And if these assaults have intensified, what is their tactic?
>> The tactic has remained unchanged. In our sector, they are now mostly moving on foot. There has been an increase because there is renewed activity specifically from infantry groups with one or two enemy servicemen moving at a time. It's not felt as critically, but the intensity has increased. Before this it was several times less. Now when they have a certain intensity when they they use reserves pulling in some units after restoring their combat capability they appear start moving more actively.
And you can even notice the difference in their equipment and in the actions of the infantry itself how exactly they approach how they behave things like that. But none of their attempts are successful. Not in our sector nor in the sectors of our neighbors.
You see, on the one hand, they say that the number of assaults has increased.
But on the other hand, recently in an interview, a representative of your brigade said that the enemy is exhausted and is abandoning their positions more and more often. In your opinion, is this a matter of motivation or training of the enemy? Do you feel this? Do you see it? Do you observe it?
>> Regarding the enemy's training, I can say one thing. According to a prisoner who was captured, the training there is almost non-existent. It's usually at a low level unless we're talking about some special units. Let's put it that way. They train for about two weeks and basically it's firearms training tactics and some basic communications. In other words, all their efforts are focused on making sure their infantry doesn't move on foot. They really do march a lot carrying certain equipment, but it doesn't bring them any success.
Why exactly do they abandon their positions there? Why do they run away?
It's at the level of morale. They're being destroyed morally to such an extent that they have no logistics. They can't even deliver parcels to their personnel. Right away, we try, let's say, to inflict fire damage in a combined way in the area where the enemy has been detected. And over a certain period, we dismantle their shelter, take it apart, and after that, they simply can't physically remain there anymore.
>> Mr. Yevan, thank you very much for your service, and thank you for joining our broadcast. That was about the situation in the Alexandrifka direction. We spoke with Yevhan Chik Maestro, commander of the airborne battalion of the 82nd Separate Assault Bukovina Brigade.
