Regulation & Safety Trends to Monitor in Bitcoin, Ethereum

[00:00:00]It's time to take a closer look at Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more in the crypto report. So, let's welcome in Nathaniel Bradley, CEO of Data Vault AI.

[00:00:08]Nathaniel, always nice of you to join us. So, we're seeing Bitcoin higher today. What does that signal? Do you think it does suggest that appetite is returning or should we not be like reading into just one session, do you think?

[00:00:22]>> Well, uh 1% gain significant across Ethereum and Bitcoin today. I think you see, you know, the most activity since May uh in in in uh both uh so when I look at it, I I really feel um you know, the the the appetite is is certainly been there. I this could be a function of uh really people coming off of that break and and coming into uh you know, basic uh utilization of this tool. Um I think the crypto sector is uh enjoying here an increase um you know based on the confidence and the use of these of of crypto across the board. And I think you can see here that uh you know that this this increase is significant enough to really get uh a lot of those juices flowing again you know and get people back involved with this 100%.

[00:01:12]>> Right. Yeah. Because the market has turned somewhat bearish. I mean, particularly when you look at the DeFi guys compared to say the traditional finance uh momentum that we're seeing, but you know, you mentioned the second straight week of positive ETF inflows for Bitcoin, second time that's happened since May.

[00:01:34]Are these kind of the signs that you look at to kind of distinguish whether this is sustainable, whether this has legs and is durable?

[00:01:43]Well, the I think the nearest ne near-term catalyst is Clarity Act. Um, we've seen that uh slip out of the the Senate floor in terms of the vote on the Senate floor that remains to make this law. Clarity Act uh is on uh the precipice of being passed. And you can see here people mobilizing to uh own more cryptocurrencies as they become more usable as they become more utilized uh in uh you know these proper markets uh that are that are looking at it as now uh more than just a phenomenon. It it is a way of doing business. It's a way to speed up in particular aspects of business and you could see this tool becoming more useful in particular when it becomes legal in the United States to use it in many more ways.

[00:02:32]>> Where are we up to with all of this?

[00:02:34]Because, you know, every day we hear pieces of, you know, some progress being made on some part of this act. I'm just wondering if you have a sort of timeline in mind if it's going to be such a major catalyst for this asset class.

[00:02:48]Well, when you look at the entire exchanges going to token uh formats, you know, the the New York Stock Exchange itself announcing that with, you know, by the end of the third quarter, we're going to be trading on on on uh really crypto infrastructure, tokconomic infrastructure. Uh so you can see that that that in itself uh becoming a catalyst for much larger adoption. uh the these tools, you know, speeding up commerce and providing so much utility and and quite honestly a better way uh moving forward in terms of many of the ways that we transact or need to transact. uh crypto represents a a quicker uh a safer a better uh audit trail uh with respect to many transactions and you can see the clarity act really bringing this to bear where uh in order for our markets in in America to stay competitive to stay ahead uh we need these tools >> right and obviously with this fiveweek hike today I saw that Bessant had something to say about this as well that lawmakers were at the one yard line right now on the clarity act. So that seems to be helping as far as some of the official commentary is concerned. Um when you look at cryptoreated stocks uh companies um who is this actor, who would this law be good for and not so good for do you suspect?

[00:04:16]>> Well certainly uh organizations that have embraced tokconomics. You see I IBM has a very uh robust token approach. Uh companies that have been ahead of the curve securitized that just went public certainly ready to feast on this. Um you know self-s serving data vault AI is a company that's well positioned with respect to uh the clarity act passage.

[00:04:40]Um you can see also uh banks potentially being uh the losers in this with respect to those that have not done a great job.

[00:04:49]uh organizations like Fierve that that that have uh robust tokconomic strategies and strategies that emo embrace crypto. The fiat conversion uh is a huge business from crypto to fiat and back. Um organizations that are uh positioned as middleware in that space uh tend to be winners in this space. I say fiserve well positioned uh organizations like securitize that have built their entire business model on this certainly coinbase and ripple uh big winners in this.
