The April 26, 1989 Manikganj tornado in Bangladesh was one of the deadliest tornadoes in recent history, killing 1,300 people and leaving 80,000 homeless; it struck an area already suffering from a 6-month drought, demonstrating how natural disasters can compound existing humanitarian crises when they hit vulnerable populations.

The Worst Tornados in Recent HistoryAjouté :
These are the worst tornadoes in recent history. Back in April 26th, 1989 in the Manikganj District of Bangladesh, a massive tornado took the lives of 1,300 people and left 80,000 people homeless.
What's crazy about this tornado is that it hit an area that was already suffering a drought for over 6 months.
So, the people were already struggling and then randomly, the sky turned violently dark. A random spinning random tube of mass destruction appears from the sky that was 1.5 km wide and then just carved through the surrounding area for 80 km. This isn't even the worst tornado that's happened. I found the worst of the worst tornadoes that have happened in recent history, so you don't have to. You can go watch that video right here on my channel.
