Bible prophecy uses a day-year principle where prophetic days represent literal years, as demonstrated in Daniel 9:24-27 where 483 prophetic days (69 weeks) from 457 BC precisely predicts Jesus's baptism in 27 AD, and the 2300-day vision in Daniel 8:14-17 refers to the time of the end rather than the intertestamental period, challenging the commonly taught 7-year tribulation paradigm.

What MOST Christians get WRONG about Bible Prophecy | Unbelievable!Added:
Why your beliefs about Bible prophecy may be wrong. Hi there, I'm Ben Birkhart. Welcome to Clear Call Ministries. I'm glad you're joining today. And this is a very important presentation because many have missed the truth about Bible prophecy. Many in the evangelical world are missing the truth. We cannot afford to be wrong about prophecy. Let's find out what the Bible really says and why we just might be wrong about Bible prophecy. So, here's what's most commonly taught in the futurist paradigm. Let's take a look at this. Many prophecy teachers teach about a tribulation period of 7 years.
And they put a 42-month period or a 3.5 year period, also known as the 1260 days, at the latter half of that 7-year period. Here's an AI overview of it.
Rapture teachers generally interpret the 42 months, 3.5 years in Revelation 13 as the second half of a seven-year tribulation known as the great tribulation. During this period, they believe the Antichrist breaks his covenant with Israel, desecrates the temple, and mandates worldwide worship, enforcing his rule through the mark of the beast. Now, those are very important items in Revelation 13, and I'm going to talk about those more when we get to the end of this presentation. So, stick around. Pretty important stuff. So the second half of the tribulation is focused in on while the full tribulation is pictured as seven years. Teachers focus on this last part as a time of most intense persecution and divine judgment. But we're going to look at this in a lot more detail here to understand what is being misunderstood and what is going wrong. This is really important that we understand. So let's take a look. Here is a fuller chart presented by Pastor Gary Hamrich. You may be familiar with his Revelation series or may not be, but it's pretty well known on YouTube. And so we have here a very standard common outline presenting the book of revelation, presenting a church age from the ascension of Jesus up to a rapture event, then seven-year tribulation, then a second coming event, and then the 1,000 years lake of fire and everything else. Now, this is a very standard common kind of chart when we are dealing with the futurist paradigm of Bible prophecy. So keep this in mind and we're going to see how this plays a role in the details of prophecy as we go along here in this message.
Let's take a look at Daniel 7:25 for a minute here. And he shall speak great words against the most high and shall wear out the saints of the most high and think to change times and laws. and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
So here the Bible describes a period of persecution. This is in fact a verse related to the little horn of Daniel 7.
Now if you compare all the points of the little horn in Daniel 7 with the first beast in Revelation 13:es 1-10, you will find that it is the same power doing the same activities. So this is very important because this is where many people are taking their three and a half years to stick into the last part of the seven years. But we're going to see some more details on that here pretty soon.
Let's take a look at another verse.
Daniel 11:35 says, "And some of them of understanding shall fall to try them and to purge and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for a time appointed." That's Daniel 11:35.
Now, we want to notice the language here in the prophecy about the time of the end that's coming. The time of the end.
So, there's persecution and that persecution leads up to the time of the end. Okay? So keep that in mind because several verses give us details about the time of the end and we want to make sure we understand clearly what that's all about. So let's take a look. There's persecution leading up to the time of the end and it is yet for a time appointed. Notice now verses or verse 40 of Daniel 11. And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him, and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships, and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. So at the time of the end, there is a conflict against a certain power that is in power at the time. at the time of the end. In other words, there's a point in time, the time of the end, and there are attacks and things going on at the time of the end. So, this is very important, the time of the end.
We're going to start seeing some more things. So, notice that persecution leads up to the time of the end. And then we have here this mention of more trouble at the time of the end. So, let's see what we can what we can discern about this period as we look at some more verses in Daniel's prophecy.
Let's go on over to chapter 12 of Daniel, verse 4. But thou, oh Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. So, this is a very powerful part of the prophecy in Daniel. Daniel is told to seal up the prophecy, the book, the book of Daniel. In particular, we're going to notice there's a couple specific parts of Daniel that are sealed up until the time of the end. So, he's told to seal it up until the time of the end. So, remember, there's trouble that happens at the time of the end. There's persecution that leads up to the time of the end. And now, Daniel is told to seal up his book and certain prophecies until the time of the end. And the Bible says that many will run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased. So God's truth, God's prophecies will be understood more at this time. And there will be also an increase in general knowledge in the world around us. So lots of increases of knowledge and running to and fro in the scriptures to search out truth as well as running to and fro in the world. Lots of travel increasing. So these are some important things. Daniel is told to close up the book, to shut up the words, to seal it until the time of the end. Now, in verse 6 of Daniel 12, there's these beings talking, heavenly beings. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, how long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
In other words, when will the time of the end be? How long until the end? So in verse 7 there's an answer. And I heard the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and swear by him that lives forever and ever that it shall be for a time times and in half. And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, that's the persecution of God's people. All these things shall be finished. So when do we reach the time of the end? It says it will be for a time and times and half a time. And we will reach the end after we get to the close of the time, times and half a time. So that's the time of the end. The time of the end when the book of Daniel should finally be unsealed.
Specific prophecies in the book that Daniel was told to close up and seal, they would be open. Now, are you starting to see the significance of the time of the end? and also the challenges here for the commonly presented rapture paradigm. There are some major challenges for that viewpoint because the Bible is telling us here that the book of Daniel, certain prophecies will be unsealed at the time of the end. And I'm going to show you a couple specific examples in Daniel about the time of the end and sealed prophecies being opened to be understood at the time of the end.
So let's take a look here and see why does this present such a problem for the rapture scenario. Well, if you take the rapture theory and you combine it with scripture that we've just read, then it says we cannot understand Daniel's sealed prophecies until after the seven years of tribulation is over. Do you understand what's going on here? We have the time, times, and halftime is 3.5 times. And this is being stuck down at the very end. And people are saying that this is this is that period of persecution, severe persecution. And then after that according to the understanding Jesus is supposed to come. So how is it that the prophecies are supposed to open up after the tribulation? How is it supposed to happen that the prophecies of Daniel will be unsealed after a tribulation period? This makes utterly no sense to have the prophecies unsealed, the book of Daniel to seal it up until the time of the end. And then here we have um this this 1260 or this time times and half a time that suddenly it's supposed to be right after that that it's unsealed. But according to the rapture teaching that's already the very end. So that's self-defeating. Why why would that be? That can't be the case. So we have Daniel's sealed prophecies that are supposed to be unsealed after this time.
But rapture teachers have it at the very end of final events. Here again on the larger chart that's commonly presented, you will see here the 7-year tribulation period. And they're presenting that three and a half years is the final part of this. But hey, that's where Jesus comes. So, how can we have Daniel's prophecies being unsealed when Jesus comes and finally understood? If they were sealed up until that time, it just doesn't make any sense because we need to understand the truth about the prophecies. Why would you need to understand the truth about the prophecies once Jesus already comes again? You don't need to at that point.
It's a little bit too late to understand the prophetic information and knowledge.
It's a little bit too late to unseal the book of Daniel for that to actually be the case. So perhaps you're starting to see there are some major troubles and problems here with the commonly presented rapture theory and this timeline. It's not accurate. And I'll show you some more points that will clarify this for you even more. So let's take a look here. So furthermore, the vision of Daniel chapter 8 is clearly misunderstood and misapplied. Most evangelical prophecy teachers apply its events to Antiochus Epiphanies, a Greek salucid king who was living before the days of Rome from 175 to 164 BC. And they apply the time prophecy of Daniel 8:14 to that time also. So before Jesus came along, back in the days of the Greek kings when they were dominant before Rome became a big powerful nation or empire, they're applying it to that little time, that intertestamental period between the Old Testament and the New Testament. That is when most people are applying the prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 and the time prophecy. But there are some major textual problems with that. And I'm going to show you why there's a problem. Actually, there's a lot of reasons, but I'll just show you uh some brief connected reason here as to why that is definitely not the case.
So, let's take a look at what the Bible says. In Daniel 8:14, the angel said unto him that it shall be uh unto 2,300 days, then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Now, many people have wondered what does this mean? What does a cleansing mean? And if you take this back to Hebrew sanctuary language, if you are looking in Leviticus 16 for example, there is a cleansing of the sanctuary of all the sins of the people on the day of atonement which was the final service of the year on the Hebrew calendar uh final service there in the sanctuary. So cleansing away all the sins and this was a pretty big pretty important event. In fact, the Hebrews connected it with the idea of judgment.
So, we have here a judgment type event, a cleansing that's taking place. But again, most teachers are saying that this happened way back when that it happened during the interestal period with the Greeks with Antas Epiphanies.
So, what evidence do we have that this is not during the Greek era, but it's actually later in time? I'm going to show you some very important key evidence right here. So, let's take a look. So, in verse 15 and 16, notice that was just Daniel 8:14 and the time period, the time prophecy. Notice now Daniel 8:15 and 16. And it came to pass when I, even I, Daniel, had seen the vision and sought for the meaning. Then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Uli, the river, which called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
So Gabriel, the angel Gabriel, yes, the same Gabriel who announced the birth of John the Baptist and the birth of Jesus.
The same angel Gabriel was called to Daniel here to explain this vision to him to help him understand the vision which includes the time prophecy we just read in verse 14. There's different aspects to the vision that the angel Gabriel explains and he doesn't get into great detail on the time prophecy in this particular chapter and you'll see why here in just a minute. So Gabriel was commissioned to make Daniel understand the vision. He has a vision, a time prophecy of 2,300 evenings and mornings. It says days here. Literally in the in the Hebrew Aramaic, it is actually evenings and mornings, which of course makes a day. And so now we take a look at verse 17. So he came near where I stood, and when he came, I was afraid and fell upon my face. But he said unto me, "Understand, oh son of man, for at the time of the end shall be the vision." Okay, Daniel 8:17 tells us, "At the time of the end shall be the vision." In other words, the prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 and in particular the time prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 because in chapter 8 it mentions actually by name the Greek power and it mentions the meersian power and it happened in the days of Babylon. So you have Babylon, Meersia, Greece that are all mentioned there and another power that comes up and then a lot of activities that happen with the little horn activities taking place and then it tells us about this time prophecy. Well, as Gabriel explains the time prophecy, he says that this refers to the time of the end. Huh. So, according to the prophecy, this time period is referencing events at the time of the end, way down at the end of Earth's history.
That means it has great significance in the gospel era, which actually makes sense if you can see that we're working our way down from Babylon to meet Persia and Greece. And then what comes after Greece? Rome. And there are other activities that take place. And by the time you get to Rome, you're entering the gospel era with Jesus. The birth of Jesus and the crucifixion of Jesus and his resurrection. So, we're looking at last day events, things that would happen in the gospel era at the time of the end. The Bible says it refers to the time of the end. So, people that are saying this is Antiochus all the way back there at the time of the Greeks, intertestamental period, they're missing the prophecy. They're missing the points. The time of the end is very specific period and it's mentioned multiple times in the book of Daniel.
And let's take a look at what happens here in verse 26 to 27. Gabriel explains some things about this vision. He says, "The vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true.
Wherefore shut thou up the vision for it shall be for many days." So the vision of the evening and morning means the 2300 evenings and mornings which is again a reference to the 2300 day time period that prophecy.
So the angel says, "Close up the vision.
Seal up the vision for it shall be for many days." Do you remember what Daniel was told at the end of the book in chapter 12:4 of Daniel? He was told to seal up the book and seal up these prophecies until the time of the end. So we have a very clear reference to that in the end of Daniel and it's connected to the 1260 and we also see that it's connected very clearly to Daniel chapter 8's prophecy that this is to be sealed up until the time of the end. So it has a very clear reference to the very last days of earth's history. This is very significant. We need to understand this.
So it shall be for many days or it refers to many days in the future. Verse 24 says, "And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick certain days. Afterward, I rose up and did the king's business. I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it." So by the end of the vision, did Daniel clearly understand this vision? According to prophecy, no.
He did not clearly understand it. He told his story that he did not quite get it. He he got some things, but he especially did not understand that part about the 2300 evenings and mornings.
That part he was like, "What is this?
Why is it talking about God's sanctuary?
Why is it talking about this um this prince of the host? Why is it talking about him?" So, that's all in Daniel chapter 8. And guess what? Daniel prays about this. He thinks about it, but he doesn't quite understand here. And still 12 years later, we're going to find out.
He's studying time prophecy and he wants to understand. He can't make sense of it. What's going to happen? The Jews were living in in Babylon at the time.
Jerusalem had been ruined by the Babylonian armies. The temple had been ruined. Daniel was thinking, "Is that what he's talking about?" But no, the Bible says this refers to the time of the end. So Daniel's still trying to figure it out. Let's take a look at what happens in chapter nine because uh something very significant happens in chapter 9. It says 12 years later Daniel is praying and and studying Bible time prophecy in the first year of Das king over Calaldia the meersian king. This is in Daniel 9:1.
So we contrast that with Daniel 8:1 the third year of Belshazar of Babylon. So that's how we know the time difference of this 12 years later when you get to chapter 9 and there's another vision here in chapter 9 and guess who shows up again? Gabriel, the same angel shows up again in chapter 9 to explain to Daniel things that he did not understand. So 12 years later, Daniel's studying. Daniel's not quite sure. And so Gabriel came to Daniel. He returns to Daniel. Let's take a look at the verses here. Daniel 9 21-22 it says yay while I was speaking in prayer even the man Gabriel whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning being caused to fly swiftly touched me about the time of the evening ablation that means the evening sacrifice or the evening offering this was generally about 300 p.m. when the evening offering would happen. So Daniel was in prayer at this time. He was seeking the Lord and Gabriel came back to him. And you notice how he says it here in scripture. He says, "Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, the vision." So there's a very clear link between the vision of Daniel chapter 9 and the vision of Daniel chapter 8. Gabriel presented. Gabriel was commissioned to help Daniel understand. Daniel understood many things, but he missed the time prophecy part. He really for sure did not quite get that part. He's like, I don't know. I don't understand it. And so he fainted, of course. He kind of was overwhelmed. So Gabriel is coming back. Gabriel, whom I'd seen in the vision at the beginning, the only other vision in Daniel that Gabriel was actually there to present to Daniel was the vision recorded by Daniel in chapter 8. So Daniel is saying look the Gabriel I saw in the vision of chapter 8 he came back to me in this vision that I'm recording now in chapter 9. Daniel is showing a very clear link between Daniel 8 and 9. Now let's take a look here. It says that he flew swiftly to him and touched him. Verse 22. And he informed me and talked with me and said, "Oh Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding."
Remember God commissioned Gabriel to help Daniel understand the vision. By the end of the chapter, Daniel did not quite understand. He said, "Hey, it has to do with the future." And Daniel fainted and he couldn't handle anymore.
So here we have very clear references that uh Gabriel's now come to finish the job. He's talking to Daniel. He wants to give him understanding. Verse 23 says, "At the beginning of thy supplications, the commandment came forth and I'm come to show thee, for thou art greatly, beloved. Therefore, understand the matter and consider the vision." Now, the Hebrew here or Aramaic here is Mara.
And that's a special reference back to the time prophecy, the prophetic time period of Daniel chapter 8. So Gabriel says, "Daniel, understand the matter.
Consider the matter. I'm come to give you skill in understanding what he did not understand at the end of chapter 8." So you have to see there's a very crystal clear link here between these two chapters and the time prophecies. Now, does Gabriel begin to explain time prophecy? And by the way, when Daniel was praying the entire first part of the chapter, first half of the chapter of Daniel chapter 9, it says Daniel had been studying time prophecy from Jeremiah. And so, he was wondering about the temple in Jerusalem, about the city, about the time prophecy. He was wondering about all those things. And guess what? As Gabriel comes to him, he says, "Consider the matter. Understand the vision." and he begins to explain time prophecy. So the time prophecies here are linked from Daniel chapter 8 and Daniel chapter 9. That is a very important point that the Bible is showing us here. You don't have all the information to understand the time prophecy in Daniel chapter 8. You need more information and chapter 9 gives you the additional information. 70 weeks, that is 490 days slashy years are determined upon your people and upon your holy city to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins. Uh some translations might also reference sin offerings according to some of the later stuff we see in the text. Um it could be translated that way, but to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity. By the way, who is it that reconciles us to God?
That's Jesus, isn't it? Jesus reconciles us to God. So to make reconciliation for iniquity, for sin, for lawlessness, Jesus reconciles us to God the Father.
And it says to bring in everlasting righteousness. By the way, whose righteousness are we saved by?
Jesus's righteousness. The Bible says Christ our righteousness. So Jesus is our righteousness. The Messiah is our savior. And it says to seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy. So it will be sealed up. This vision and prophecy will be sealed up through this according to the prophecy we're going to see here. Uh Jesus is the one who seals it up and he seals it up in his blood. No less. So Jesus seals these things up. Now let's take a look at verse 25. What does Gabriel say to Daniel that he needs to know? He says, "Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah the prince shall be seven weeks and three score in two weeks." So if you add those up, seven weeks plus three score, that's that's uh 60 right there.
Three score is 3 * 20 and then two weeks. So what do we have? Total 69 weeks. That's 483 days. If you break down each week with seven days, you get 483 days. Now, there's a dayyear principle here. I'll show you more on that here in just a minute. Um, but we'll see that there's a dayyear principle and most everybody who studies this prophecy has that understanding no matter what prophetic camp you're in.
So, there are there's a dayyear principle here. So, 483 days in this period and that is 483 years. And we have a commandment to restore and build Jerusalem from that point of time unto Messiah the prince. His arrival would be 483 years. So a certain decree as some Bibles translate it a decree. And it it restores to and rebuilds Jerusalem including the wall being built again and the street being built again. And and these were in troubles times like in Ezra and Nehemiah. So that records the return of the Jews from Babylon to their homeland in Jerusalem. And that happened of course in the days when the Mes and Persians took over. So Messiah the prince is the Christ, the savior that who would come. So here we have this prophecy very clearly laid out and we're going to see how that looks and how that works. Uh just remember that Daniel 8's 2300 dayear vision and Daniel 9's 490 dayear vision are intimately related.
They apply to events in the gospel era surrounding the Messiah Jesus and his great sacrifice and his ministry for us.
So these prophecies point us to events in the time of the end ultimately in the time of the end when these sealed prophecies would be fully understood and opened. We know that from uh Daniel 12:4 and 9-10 as well as Daniel chapter 8 and verses 14-17.
So we have the time of the end sealed prophecies will be fully understood and opened or unsealed to the wise to those who have wisdom.
So what makes more sense than the theory that's commonly presented in the rapture scenario? Let's take a look. If you actually break down this prophecy, the decree, the Persian decree was given in the year 457 BC. It's the 7th year of King Artic Xerxes, Ezra 7:7. There's several decrees in the book of Ezra, one also in Nehemiah, but the one in Ezra 7 is the one that includes the wall and a few other things. And that is a very important prophecy and decree. And when you date the prophecy 483 years, the days representing years, if you count 483 from 457, you will come all the way up to 27 AD. Now, on your calculator, it will say 26. That's because your calculator includes a zero digit between -1 and 1, but there is no zero year on the AD and BC timeline. So, you have to count an extra year. So, it's 27 AD. um do the math with your calculator and remember to add in the extra year to cross the BC line. So the only date given us in the New Testament is Luke is found in Luke 3:es 1-2 and it's the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar. Now if you check that out on the calendars, what does that that year equate to? It's the year 27 AD when Jesus was baptized and began his public ministry as the Messiah. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit at his baptism. And the Bible says the Messiah means anointed one.
Christos or Christ means anointed one.
So Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit at his baptism. He is the anointed one.
The savior of the world. So notice here this prophecy exactly on the day your principle exactly goes from 457 to 27 the year Jesus was baptized and began his public ministry. Now, according to the prophecy in Daniel 9, there are not just 69 weeks, but 70 weeks. So, there's the 70th week, which happens to be a period of seven years. Now, here's the thing.
Most of these folks presenting the seven years of tribulation. They're actually taking this and stealing it right from the prophecy of Daniel chapter 9. But there's not a textual indication to say that we need to rip this week somehow off and out of its context. So in other words, following 69 weeks, you have the 70th week. You start in 457, you go to the end of that period. There's no there's no justification in scripture to rip off that final week from its context. So this idea of seven years tribulation, have you ever found that phrase in the Bible? Did you know you can't find that phrase in the Bible?
Look, just look it up. Just Google it.
Find, ask, where's the seven years of tribulation? The Bible never ever says seven years of tribulation. The Bible talks about tribulation. The Bible talks about great tribulation. The Bible does not talk about a period of seven years of tribulation. It doesn't say that. And it tells us about this one who confirms the covenant for seven years. He confirms the covenant, but in the middle of that week, he he puts an end to sacrifice and offering, and he's cut off. Messiah is cut off, but not for himself. Who was Messiah cut off for, by the way? You and me, right? Jesus died for us. Did Jesus confirm a new covenant in his blood during his ministry?
Absolutely. Jesus introduced the new covenant, the holy covenant. By the way, in Daniel 11, it talks about this prince of the covenant. And it says the prince of the covenant gets cut off and it tells us that it's the holy covenant. So Messiah the prince in chapter this chapter right here um chapter nine Messiah the prince chapter 11 says he's the prince of the covenant and he says he's the prince of the holy covenant. So the covenant here is the holy covenant.
The Messiah confirms with the people of God. That's the truth about this prophecy and people are just ripping it out of context. just taking it out of thin air. Um, they're reading their own things into it. They're not following the prophecy. So, this is a big problem in the rapture scenario because people are ripping it out of context. But wait, that's not the whole thing. There's more to this story. I'll tell you more. You have to see this. So, the seven years are the 70th week. And they actually go from 27 AD just counting very naturally from 457 69 weeks and then the 70th week right here. So from 27 AD to 34 AD.
That's 7 years right there. In the middle of that week, Messiah is cut off but not for himself. He's cut off for you and me on the cross of Calvary. And he's confirming the new covenant in his blood. He teaches his disciples for three and a half years from his baptism to Calvary. For three and a half years, Jesus teaches his disciples. Then after Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus, he ascends back to heaven. And his disciples continue confirming the covenant with the Jewish nation for another 3.5 years. Jesus told them first to go to the Jewish nation and confirm the covenant. But finally they reject it. When the Sanhedrin, the highest level leadership, reject the message of Steven and Steven was stoned and killed in the book of Acts. They rejected the gospel message. So we have a confirmation of three and a half years.
If you look in the book of Acts, then the gospel begins going to the Gentiles.
So gospel to the Gentiles. So we have here Messiah and the new covenant confirmation during that 70th week. By the way, when Jesus died on the cross, the temple curtain was torn in half. And this put an end to the need for sacrifice and offering. You can read about it in Hebrews chapter 10. There's no more need for sacrifice or offering because Jesus is the one sacrifice, the great sacrifice, the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world as John 1:29 says. So the Bible makes it very clear that Jesus is the one who confirms a new covenant in his own blood. And in so doing, he puts an end to the sacrifice and offering of the old covenant because he is the great sacrifice to form the new covenant. It's his blood that makes the new covenant.
This is what the Bible's telling us here. And then it tells us about a power that comes and destroys the temple.
Guess what? The Romans did that in AD.70. They came along and destroyed the the temple. And Jesus prophesied that not a single stone would be left on top of another. The temple would be destroyed. So Jesus clearly explained those things. And this is an exact fulfillment of this prophecy. Exact fulfillment. So people are taking this out of context in the commonly presented rapture theory. This is a problem. So it's not being taught correctly. You need to go and check the Bible on this.
Don't just take my word for it, but check the Bible. Get yourself a screenshot of the chart here and go check it out. So this is the principle that this is fulfilled on. One prophetic day equals one literal year. Numbers 14:34 gives us that after the spies looked at the promised land for 40 days, they denied themselves the chance to enter. And the Lord said, "Well, even 40 days," he says, "Each day for a year shall you bear your iniquities, even 40 years." They spied the land for 40 days, but now they would have to wander for 40 years in the wilderness. Ezekiel 4:6.
Ezekiel was a contemporary of the prophet Daniel. And God said to Ezekiel, "When you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah 40 days. I have appointed thee each day for a year." So 40 days you lay on your side symbolically, the prophet Ezekiel was going to bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. So this is a prophecy of 40 days. And God said to Ezekiel, I've appointed you each day for a year.
So those 40 days of lying on your side are representing a year, symbolic days equaling a literal year. Again, Ezekiel, contemporary of Daniel, this prophet was told this vision. Daniel's visions have this same thing. The 490 days of Daniel 9 are fulfilled on this principle of a day equals a year. One symbolic day in prophecy here is equaling a literal year. This is important. Now, I'll show you a couple things as to why and how this works out. So, let's take a look and again what makes more sense. So, the 2300 day vision that we have looked at in Daniel chapter 8, remember Daniel 8 and 9 are connected. 2300 day vision.
So, we have the first part of it is the 490 that's determined for the Jews.
That's what he says. is cut off for the Jews. In Daniel 9:24, Gabriel explained that. So from 457 all the way up to 34 AD when the gospel went to the Gentiles uh and away from the Jews, we have that first period of time. Messiah Jesus confirmed the covenant during the last seven years of this 70 weeks period. So we have that already clearly given here and established. That's 8034. So now take 2300 and minus 490 days and that will leave you with 1810 days equaling 1810 years. So from 8034 we count forward 1810 years. That brings us to the year 1844.
Now since 8034 you have the gospel era.
The gospel is going to the Jews and Gentiles both. is going to both worlds but primarily gentile um because the Jews as a nation had a chance already.
So this leads us up to 1844 and you might wonder well what what's significant about that year? Well the cleansing of the sanctuary again is connected to the most holy place of the Hebrew sanctuary and that was connected to the day of atonement which was considered a day or time of judgment. So how is this important? Let's take a look at that chart one more time. So the judgment hour of earth history.
Revelation 14 6 and 7. Revelation 14 6 and 7 talks about a judgment. The gospel is going to the world to all nations of the world. And God says the hour of his judgment has come. God's judgment has come. Fear God. And of course keep his commandments. Have the faith of Jesus.
You can find that in verse 12 of Revelation 14. And then following the proclamation of these messages there in Revelation for the end times, for the last days, it tells us, yes, you're living in the judgment hour, the hour has come. And then it says that the Lord returns following this period of proclamation of truth in the last days. So God wants his truth proclaimed in the last days that we're living in the final moments of earth's history. We're living in the judgment hour of Earth's history. So we're in the very last days. This is what the Bible is prophesying for us.
It's very very clear and you could study out more details on this but it's very clear in scripture. So we have this particular and very clear layout of the prophecy Daniel 8 and Daniel 9's prophecy right here showing the ministry of Jesus showing Jesus Messiah in the courtyard showing Jesus uh in the holy place and Jesus in the most holy place.
If you follow the Hebrew sanctuary which reveals the gospel of Jesus who is the lamb who takes away the sins of the world and Jesus is also our high priest.
If you read the book of Hebrews, Hebrews chapter 9 and Hebrews chapter 8:es 1-6 is very clear. All right. So here we have sanctuary language cleansing the sanctuary connected to God's judgment hour before God's throne in the most holy place. representation. This was just a figure for the time representing the reality of heaven. So really Jesus is in heaven for us today. Jesus ministers in the holy place ministry.
Jesus ministers in the most holy place ministry the judgment work before he comes again. Very important points. So how about the 1260 following this? See we have to have the dayyear principle still used here like we used it in Daniel 8 and9. The dayear principle applies for the 1260 days as well. And this this is where it makes a lot more sense. So we have here the 1260day year prophecy 3.5 times 42 months. The years or dates we have connected here is 538 AD and 1798 exactly 1260 years in the middle ages. Now why would that be significant and how does it relate to last day events? Let me explain that.
538 is when the Ostrogothic nation in Europe was plucked up by the roots. So Daniel 7:8 and 20 and verse 24-2 say, "He shall subdue three kings and of course their kingdoms." And that's in Daniel 7:24. So we have this this little horn power that comes up and he persecutes and he reigns during this time. There's a middle ages persecution taking place from 538 to 1798. So this would bring us up to the time of the end. It would begin at this time and there's a deadly wound where the political power is diminished from this particular power. Now you might be wondering, well wait a second, who is this really talking about? I'm glad you asked. I have an entire video on that and I'll link it up at the end. The question is who is the beast? And I go back and explore who is the little horn of Daniel 7. You really need to see that video to get the details here. So, um, I'll link that up at the end. Who is the beast? You'll have to check it out to get the details. There's a couple more videos as well. So, we've got this power here, um, until 1798. But remember, there's a deadly wound that Revelation 13 talks about. Political power is diminished. And then the Bible says that in Revelation 13:3 and:es 11-18 that the deadly wound gets healed and all the world wonders after the beast. So deadly wound at this time and then last days, the very end of time. So you got a little bit of time here. It's building up to a crescendo of last day events and the deadly wound will be fully healed and all the world will wonder after the beast in the very last days, very end of time. And we don't know when Jesus returns. We don't know the day or the hour. So that's an unknown point when Jesus comes again.
But all of this happens before Jesus returns the second time. And this period of time right here is called the time of the end.
The time prophecies will be clearly understood and unsealed during this time of the end. We should understand these things looking back at history. We can understand these time prophecies fulfilled on the dayyear principle that we explore in scripture. So, I also have a video on the time of the end, a video that explains more clearly the concept of the time of the end. I will link that up at the end of this video as well. So, you want to learn about the time of the end, then I have a whole video that covers it. So, I'll link that up. You really need to check these things out and understand what's going on in prophecy.
So, what are some of the problems with the rapture theory? Well, Daniel 8 and9, they actually unlink that prophecy because they use the dayear principle in Daniel chapter 9, but they would take Daniel chapter 8 and they unlink it and they stick it down with Antiochus way back in history instead of understanding that it's in the gospel era. Daniel 8 refers to the time of the end. That's what God said. And Gabriel explained it and Gabriel explained this one and Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus and John the Baptist. Gabriel followed this prophecy all the way through. Gabriel was there in chapter eight. Gabriel was there in chapter 9. Gabriel was there in the New Testament. But these persons presenting this rapture theory, they unlink it and they belittle the Daniel 8 prophecy. And so that is a big problem.
That is a big problem. It's not faithful to scripture to what the text says. So you need to understand that. And then what's another problem? Well, look at this. They use the the one day equals one year principle from the Bible. They use it for Daniel chapter 9 and they get seven years from the seven days or from the week there. But the problem is that they apply this prophecy way down at the end of time to the antichrist instead of to Jesus Christ and the prophecy in the first century where Jesus clearly fulfilled it on Calvary and with his confirmation of the gospel covenant. So they take it out of context even though they do use the dayyear principle here but they take it out of context. They rip it off of its its native context and float this period at the end of time.
Now, another problem here with the rapture theory is that they take the uh in the other time periods, they take one day equaling one day. Instead of one day equaling one year, a symbol and a prophetic literal fulfillment, they just boil it all down and they stick it here within that period to try to make it work. So, they're not consistent.
They're not following the principle of scripture. Here in Daniel chapter 9, they use the day one day equals one-year principle. But on the other time prophecies, they simply say one day equals a day and they try to stick it here into their seven-year scenario at the end of time. This is not a healthy interpretation of the Bible where people are ripping these prophecies apart and they're not consistent. They're not following the cues of scripture. So, this is a very serious matter and you and I need to be aware of it and we need to go back to the Bible and clearly understand these prophecies. And I've got content to help you understand it.
If you want to check those things out, you can see for yourself. Dig into it more. Study this out. Let's be honest with scripture. Let's not go by somebody's popular theory just because it's popular and it's all over the place. Okay? people are doing violence to the text, not staying consistent with the text of scripture. So, next, I explain these prophecies and time prophecies more in other videos, and I'm going to link those up right at the end.
But before I do that, I want to send a reminder out to everyone watching. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Jesus is our savior. No one else can save us except for Jesus. He alone can save us. Jesus alone can bring us back to God the Father. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through him.
So put your trust in Jesus. Put all your trust in him. Not in men, not in churches, not in prophetic scenarios that don't match the Bible, but put your trust in Jesus and follow what his word says. Follow what scripture says. Go back to the Bible. Don't just believe something because it's popular. Guess what? The disciples of Jesus in the first century, they believed a prophetic scenario that was popular and all the Pharisees and rabbis were teaching it, but it wasn't true. They thought Jesus Messiah would conquer the Romans, but that wasn't the case. He came to die on a cross. and they expected the wrong thing because they believed a popular scenario in their time. Jesus had to stand up against popular prophetic teachings that were wrong. He had to teach things that were unpopular. Even Peter rebuked Jesus. They said, "Not so, Lord. You're not going to go to the cross." And Jesus said, "Yes, I'm going.
Get thee behind me, Satan." Jesus rebuked Peter because Peter did not savor the things that were of God, but the things that were of men. And God is telling us today, hey, watch out because there's a lot of false scenarios and theories floating around out there and you and I need to get into the word of God and not be deceived. So, let's get into our Bibles and let's not be deceived. Let's study this stuff carefully. Do not be deceived. Jesus warned four times in Matthew 24, "Do not be deceived. Even the very elect could be deceived." And and Jesus warns us to get into the Bible. Dig into scripture.
Put your trust fully in Jesus and put your trust fully in the word of God.
This is the call of the Lord Jesus. Do you want to do that today? That's what I want to do. Put my trust fully in Jesus and his word. And and so with that in mind, I want to say a brief prayer with you and then I'll put up those videos in the link. Please also hit the like button if you did enjoy this.
