What Happens With These Fish?

[00:00:00]I often get asked, "Dave, what happens to the fish that you shoot?" First things first is getting the arrow out and the fish on ice as quickly as possible. This helps the meat stay nice, fresh, good to eat, and ready to go on a table once clean. On this day specifically, I did not intend to eat my catch, but nothing goes to waste. I found a local construction worker who enjoys fresh fish dinner and made sure him and his family were fed for the night. At the end of the day, these tilapia are invasive here in Florida and getting them out of the water and into hungry hands of people like this young woman here is a great way to help do my part in cleaning Florida's waterways while giving back to my hometown community.
