In Clash Royale, the level system creates a significant competitive imbalance where higher-level players have overwhelming advantages over lower-level players, as level 16 cards possess substantially more health and damage than level 1 cards, making it nearly impossible for lower-level players to win even against highly skilled opponents.

What is Wrong with this community?
Added:Welcome back to the second channel, my dudes. And today, I'm just going to be looking at the subreddit because to be honest, the past few days, everyone is just talking about the drama. So, I I'm just like desperate for any in-game discussion or stuff. So, let's just sort by top. And I think this week is probably the best way to do it here. Two sides of the same coin or something. I don't know. So, that is really surprising. The first post is not really related to whatever Twitter drama that is going. This game is dead. It's heading down the same path as Clash Royale. We've released an update that helps out returning players. It won't affect already max players. We've released an update to specifically to [ __ ] over everyone. Great. Now, all right. So, just like to be fair here, a lot of the updates I I don't really play Clash of Clans as much. It's not a game that I really frequently play. Sometimes I play like once every three or four months or whatever. Um, but I do think the updates from Clash Royale are specifically being aimed towards newer players and returning players. So, it's like a catchup thing. It's if the Clash of Clans update, which I heard about some stuff from my dad, like my dad plays Clash of Clans all the day. um like not all the day but like every day.
Thing is he told me about like some they have like some hero journey thing and they gave him a bunch of rewards and it's like it's way less than if he didn't like have a high level on the hero journey already. It's similar similar to the collection level thing in Clash Royale. And also they kind of like gave him 24 hours to use all the rewards which is really stupid because how do you use all these stuff in 24 hours?
Clash of Clans fans protest can effectively influence the dev's decision while Clash Royale fans can do nothing to their favorite game. This is yeah this could be a good point. I think a lot of the times it's like yes the Clash Royale devs listen sometime but it's really rare compared to the Clash Royale to the Clash of Clans devs. Like for example um we've we've asked for um tight trading on ladder to be solved by making it a coin flip a lot of times and it's like why do you even get bothered so much by that um alt did bring a good uh thing on Twitter kind of like a good argument and it's like if he as a viewer is watching a top player and they are tie trading with their friend is going to be boring and he's going to stop watching the stream and that happens multiple times for every stream basically. Can't wait for level 15 17 hero Mega Knight maxed is funny. Um yeah, basically that's kind of like the drama between uh the drama in Clash of Clans right now, I guess.
Boy, what the hell is going on with this game nowadays? What what what's boss doing? Clash Royale players like talking to miners. Yeah, I should have seen that coming. Honestly, should have seen that coming. The thing is, I don't know if it's like the season being boring or that Clash Royale players just have this to focus. It's like all the discussions have been about like this Twitter drama thing. And I think it's like it's fine to be focused on it, but I don't know if it's like it came out just because the season was boring and they were like bored and were like, "Let's just start pulling out some stuff or if it's like because of the expo finish." I don't even know. The Discord suppression is the wild part. Like addressing it directly would have been the way better than the auto mode mute thing which just screams guilty. I think they are probably talking about like the official Crush Royale Discord which they probably automuted the names of the people involved just so it doesn't like get really crazy on their official Discord.
I don't really chat that much there.
Maybe like once a week or something. But yeah, I think that's probably it. Never would have expected SK out of all the people. Um, yeah, SK is like he's someone I used to talk to every now and then. And it's like two years ago there was some allegations, but the thing is they they were like they felt a little bit like whatever and faked or, you know, even like not that serious of a stuff. This time though, it's like really serious and indefensible. I even DM'd him, but he did not respond to me.
Who is SK? Prominent Expo YouTuber that does a lot of analyzing on pro games. I stopped being shocked when you said Expo. Uh I I get we hate Expo, but the thing is this is um so for a Clash Royale deck, this is not really that serious, but when people stereotype certain bad actions with certain characteristics, so for example, if someone said, "Oh, of course he's a predator. He's short." You make it easier for tall people, tall predators to just escape. I know this is like a Clash Royale deck. No one is going to like look at your deck and be like, "Oh, you play Expo. You're a little sus.
You're you're a sussy baka." It's like they're not going to do that. It's like not that serious. It's just like something I thought I would bring up because people don't really realize that. What an odd comment section. How of these are talking about boss as a creator instead of the actual content of the video? Who gives a [ __ ] about other videos that Boss makes? He's covering a topic that is pretty concerning since the content creators and pro players are people that a lot of the fan base, especially kids look up to and make a lot of money for Supercell. It doesn't matter if it's boss or someone else making this video. The video isn't about boss. The fact there are apparently a popular Discord server where miners are constantly being flirted with. Um, yeah, this is this is true. This is true. like um it's it's good on bust for speaking out. I think it's decent. I honestly don't really know a lot of the details because I am not involved in any of these Discord servers. Like I don't join any of the group chats or Discord servers that other Clash Royale players do. I you all know I joined like the YouTube scene in 2024. I was like a little bit late and didn't really get super close with anyone. So I'm just like chilling in my own bubble basically. So, I don't have like that many info. I think if I spoke on it, I wouldn't do it that much of a justice compared to boss for example or other people. Crazy how no one talks about grats in this thread. I almost forgot about this guy. I don't watch his videos anymore. I think it's like part of it is because of the thing expose that happened about him. But yeah, I'd argue that Gratz has more evidence against him than u Muhammad Light, which he's yet yet people don't mention him at all at all. Yeah, like people forget, which is really unfortunate because things like this should not be forgettable. I think it's like for example Gratz um people said he was a Mario Kart YouTuber for like Mario Kart Wii and he had like some allegations and got cancelled completely and when his channel died he just made a Clash Royale channel which I guess good thing the main channel died if those things were true that's good people canceled him but like the Clash Royale community should also be canceling him. I I don't really understand why people here aren't as serious as other communities. Basically, my favorite Ken era was when he would constantly shout out Bratz when topics came to minors. This happens. Yeah, I I remember when he used to do that. That's basically indirectly helping the cause of cancelling him, but yeah, that's great. Happy to see a woman represented in the movie industry.
Oh, what is she? What is she? Oh, the camera woman joke.
Yeah. Well, I guess that's like refresh.
Oh, there's more. That's like refreshing compared to the usual stuff. I I I guess there is like still some in-game discussions. We'll see.
Bro, like firecracker, can you do something, please?
Well, I've never seen something this crazy. She standed there doing nothing for a long time. Oh, yay, Sonic. Um, anyone who hates this is my friend without introduction. What is the hate on this game mode? Like this event, I think it's really cool, but I also get it's annoying. The reason I find it annoying is because of how many wins it it requires. So sometimes it's like 42 wins, right? And that's a lot in a week, even if I win every single game. Maybe maybe I'm like being a little picky, but I usually win maybe 80% of my games or something like that when I'm playing like in non-ranked, so it's not hard for me to fill up. What decks are you running for it? Um I I think the decks don't really matter as much unless you're playing like [ __ ] cycle. Um I hate how how you need to babysit it. Just finished mine yesterday. So, what he means by this is that when you lose, you need to go to the menu and restart again.
I think that's probably what happens.
And I I kind of like get hating that because you would forget and win five games and then you get nothing out of it, but then be like, "Oh, I forgot to start the event again." And it's like unfortunate, but at the same time, I get why they do that. They want you to interact with the event specifically.
So, that makes sense. play merch tactics.
Um, how about No, to be fair, I was I was once on outside like on a bus. I couldn't like focus too much and the event had like 40 minutes left and I was like 20 wins behind or something along the lines of that. I just played Merge Tactics which made it easier. I don't need to focus as much and it also guaranteed I win because I'm at zero trophies in merge tactics and have level 16 cards basically or whatever. So it's like makes it easier. Just play merge.
Merge sucks. I guess it it just depends on whether you like it or not. Who would win a bad player with level 16s or good player with level ones? This is a really interesting topic. Dude, I'm actually surprised I'm finding like actual good topics to talk about. Uh, the player with level with level 16s has literally not never touched the game before. All they know is drag and drop the cards to place it. The player with level ones is the best player in the world. Deck is a mirror matchup. Who wins? I think this is not even close. The level 16 player is going to win. I I think you could just like give a monkey level 16 cards and they would win. You mean a minimum levels because champions minimum level is level nine? Nope. Level once somehow.
How the [ __ ] is that? Like, are we going to lock them to common cards only? You could teach a chimpanzeee that's close to a monkey how to place cards and he would beat the pro player on level one with level 16 recruits deck. I am being serious.
Yeah, I I agree with that. I think it's like here's the thing about Clash Royale. Um, levels matter so much because you don't you have like little control over your cards. So, for example, if I'm playing a shooter game, let's say Brawl Stars, for example, if I have level one and the opponent is level 16, my mechanic skills can carry my ass.
Basically, I could dodge shots, it could land shots, prevent healing, pressure some points. It's going to be difficult because they could just run into you and spam auto aim, but at least it's possible, right? with Clash Royale. The thing is when you play um when you play like a level 16 Mega Knight, what's the most I can do with level one cards? Do you kite him towards the king tower?
He's going to take it out because my towers are really weak.
Spend the mini Pekka and a bunch of stuff on him. I I don't think they would be enough. Like the Mega Knight would probably two or three tap the mini Pekka. I I I yeah it's it's there is 0% that level one wins even if it's smallite versus a toddler.
It's interesting that this is even a topic of conversation but I'm I'm trying to see if someone has something different to say and has like a good reasons for it. You could out mo light with level ones and a meta deck against a little first game newbie with level 16s ran a tough random deck generator and Mo is getting three crowned 100 out of 100 times assuming they have level matching towers and king towers. Light wouldn't even be able to reach the tower with 90% of the cards.
Um interesting talking about like level 16 towers. I think with with level 16 towers, maybe there is like a slight chance that they could do something, but think no. I feel like level one only wins if play level 16 player goes offline almost instantly. And even then, some deck archetypes would would make it impossible to get any damage. This isn't chip damage relative to the tower health.
I I remember Yeah, I remember seeing Tik Toks of a guy who maxed out a new account so he could terrorize beginner arenas and he would win by just afking until the tiebreaker.
Yeah, I can see that. It's like because if they have a level one tower and has 2,000 HP and your level 16 tower has 4,600 HP, they would need to do 200 2,600 HP with level one cards. I think if they play a mini Pekka on the bridge, the tower would kill it without any damage. I I think yeah, it's impossible.
We got more light files. The same thing.
Um, we already talked about it. Is Royal Ghost not supposed to not get electrocuted by Egiant? So, I think he's talking about the soldiers here. And this is funny. This might be trippy for you all, but I I exactly know the reason. Some of you all probably know it because it's like it's not common knowledge, but it's kind of knowledgeable. When the e-wiz is stunning the electro giant, all the reflection damage gets canled and they synced up in a really cool way. So, if you look at the e-wiz, he's synced up with the ghost attack speed almost perfectly, which is why these soldiers are surviving. It's a really cool coincidence. You could play it like you could actually pull it off purposely uh like on purpose if you're good but um I think the the guy was like surprised so he didn't really know about it. Why do some people choose ice spirit over Espirit?
This is an interesting topic because a lot of the times it's different based on the matchup. The one I know the most about is like the Expo for example. Expo decks would probably it's like E Spirit makes graveyard easier and bait easier to counter, but ice spirit makes giant decks easier to counter. And when you put these two into account, it's kind of like the higher you go on ladder, the more bait and graveyard you see and the less speed down you see. So that's why on top ladder, Espirit is better. But if you are in mid ladder and stuck, you probably are better off with ice spirit, for example. New mechanic idea to make hero cards more healthier for the game.
Starting cycles for heroes at the start of the game after a hero is played for at least once. Um um um um so here's the thing. I think this would improve but it doesn't fix the issue and the improvement is very small.
And the problem is also this promotes start handing because if I see a wizard and someone plays it and I see a hero icon, I know he has hero wizard. I'm going all in opposite lane. [ __ ] hero wizard. I cannot push into hero wizard.
Like it's really difficult to push into him. I'm just going to go all in opposite lane. Now your hero card is going to be playable after it is played once. This is the same for every hero card regardless of its cost. Once you cycle the hero, you can use it until the game ends and you don't need to cycle it again. I think that helps with the surprise factor. Something about like things like e drag for example, the EVO is very strong, but the good kind of like the halfass balanced thing about it is that there is no surprise factor because the first time they play it, it's normal, so you know it's coming.
But if you don't know it's coming, you might overextend and just get screwed.
main thing that gets solved with this mechanic is how easy it is to start handing people with heroes. Yes, but that would make start handing people against heroes more more um you know kind of like more likely and more encouraged. That's kind of kind of like what I explained especially with heroes like Mega Man and Giant Balloon. And this is a big problem. This mechanic is going to make the game way healthier and less luck based.
You can acknowledge your opponent cycling their heroes by yellow particles. Yeah. I I don't really I don't really agree that much.
Oh, yeah. That's good timing. You You could practice that timing and pull it off every single time. What's What's interesting is that you see when the Golden Knight is dashing, he's immune.
And it doesn't only work on Sparky shots. You could tank a mini Pekka shot.
I' I've showed that in my champions video. Basically, am I the only one that feels like Evo Mega Knight, Evo Valkyrie, and Evo Executioner can almost stop any push by themselves? Um, I don't know why I added almost, but yeah, these cards, um, they all probably need a nerf. It's like they allow bailouts in a really disgusting way.
Feel like every time I build up a big offensive push, one of those cards comes down and the entire thing disappears.
Evo Meganai jumps all over the place, wipes wipes support troops, and somehow turns defense into a counter push instantly. Evo Vog pulls everything together and melts swarm support units at almost no effort. Evo Xi just sits there throwing axes through your entire push while being ridiculously hard to remove. The problem isn't that they are unbeatable individually. It's that they get so much value with little support.
Sometimes feel like you need to outplay your opponent three times just to break through one evolved card.
Yeah, I I I feel like it's fair.
Everyone feels that way. Am I the only one who thinks water is lowkey hydrating? Let me know if the minority.
Yeah, please up vote. So, Supercell can nerf these cards. So, the thing is I I I think all three needs a nerf, but the number one that needs a nerf, like the number one card of them that needs a nerf is this thing. And it's like it just dude I just [ __ ] hate him. I don't even know what to say. Like the EO needs a nerf. The regular one could maybe use a slight nerf. I I don't even know. It's like sometimes because he splashes the tower when he's not even in range of the tower. It's like really stupidly weird, especially with tornado. The thing I would have to say though, without tornado, he's fine. I I think tornado is like the what enables him to have a problem here.
Also, I I wanted to show this. This is probably the funniest um tweet I've ever seen this week. Can't touch me like that, Mo. I'm 18. I'm not like specifically talking about this caption that makes it funny. I'm talking about this. Look at the emotes spectating like people spectating are spamming. like it genuinely is- because like he hasn't responded to anything in like four or five days. Haven't uploaded any YouTube videos, haven't like made any on Twitter, any responses and stuff, but I think he's still playing and people are just not not going to leave him alone.
Look at like the entire community is spectating this and spamming chicken and minor emotes. And I this is really funny. Not all the emotes you spam just get sent on the screen of the player that's watching. So, for example, if there is 700 people and all 700 of them click this, click a bunch of emotes, the game is only going to show like 30 or 40 emotes. It's not going to show all 700.
So, even though this number is like, oh, it's only 20 emotes, there could be probably more. It could have been like 50 or 60 people watching and spamming this emo these emotes.
It's like people united into just bullying him into a response basically.
