The Holy Spirit is the fruit of the intimate relationship between God and Jesus, representing the most consoling and meaningful way God relates to humanity. Like a mother who never abandons her children, the Holy Spirit transforms believers into persons who can relate with others in holy and intimate ways, compelling them to love regardless of circumstances and find joy in all things. This spiritual transformation creates a new person who bears the breath of God and discovers what it means to be fully human, created in the image and likeness of God.

>> On the sixth Sunday of Easter, we are so blessed that we celebrate this Sunday, the Mother's Day. We give a round of applause to our mothers. They are also given the proper intentions to pray for them.
And we give a special prayer for them after the communion. And we give them something a gift because we love our mothers.
To make ourselves worthy of this mass, we offer in thanksgiving.
And to ask God to bless us in a special way at this particular day, we admit our shortcomings before the Lord.
We admit that we are not worthy of God's grace. For the many times we failed to love, for the many times we failed to do God's command, we humble ourselves, bow our heads, and ask for God's mercy and pardon.
You were sent to heal the contrite of heart. Lord have mercy.

>> The first reading tells us that the Samaritans reception of the faith and the gift of the Holy Spirit means that salvation is offered to all peoples regardless of race and belief.
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
Peter went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed the Christ to them with one accord. The crowds paid attention to what was said by Philillip when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing.
For unclean spirits crying out in a loud voice came out of many possessed people, and many paralyzed or crippled people were cured.
There was great joy in that city.
Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them.
They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.
The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Shout joyfully to God all the earth.
Sing praise to the glory of his name.
Proclaim his glorious praise. Say to God, "How tremendous are your deeds."
>> Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Let all earth worship and sing.
Praise to you. Sing praise to your name.
Come and see the works of God. his tremendous deeds among the children of faith.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
He has changed the sea into dry land. Through the river they pass unfold.
Therefore, let us rejoice in him.
He rules by his might forever.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Hear now all you who fear God while I declare what he has done for me.
Blessed be God who refused me not my prayer for his kindness.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
In the second reading, Peter encourages the Christians who are misunderstood and persecuted because of their faith.
Suffering with a clear conscience unites the believers with Christ who suffered for the sins of the unjust.
A reading from the first letter of St. Peter.
Beloved, sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts.
Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope.
But do it with gentleness and reverence, keeping your conscience clear, so that when you are maligned, those who defame your good conduct in Christ, may themselves be put to shame.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that be the will of God, than for doing evil.
For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he might lead you to God.
Put to death in the flesh, he was brought to life in the spirit.
The word of the Lord.
>> Thanks be to God. Please stand as we honor the Holy Gospel.
Halleluah.
Halleluah.
Hallelu.
Halleluah.
Hallelujah.
Hallelu.
Whoever loves me will keep my word says the Lord and my father will love him and we will come to him.
>> Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
>> The Lord be with you. and with your spirit.
>> A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
>> Glory to you, O Lord.
Jesus said to his disciples, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments, and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to be with you always."
The spirit of truth whom the world cannot accept because it neither sees nor knows him.
But you know him because he remains with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you in a little while. The world will no longer see me, but you will see me because I live and you will live.
On that day, you will realize that I am in my father and you are in me and I in you.
Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me will be loved by my father and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
The gospel of the Lord.
>> Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.
Mother's Day 1:00 text about the Mother's Day and I I wanted to greet my mother at 8 before I came here because I would like to offer this mass for all mothers. And so when I texted my mother, I was calling her. So text, happy mother's day.
Thank you for all the love and sacrifices. We love you.
And I became emotional because as a young boy when I was grade four, every evening when we get to bed, Lord Always my mother prayed for me to become I never studied in theology.
and and and that's how I I engage with with my mother and the more my mother is getting old 90 years old counting for 100 200 90 so 95 110 10,000 100,000 we are praying 100 years old and you know dear brothers and sisters the more my mother becomes old the more I feel guilty and the more that I visit my mother the more I would like to care for her natural But this comes to me very strongly as I get older that when I see my mother getting older, the more I feel guilty.
And the more I visit my mother, the more I would like to stay with her father.
I believe that you know a mother is someone I cannot do without.
A mother is someone I cannot do without.
I think God created mothers because he could be everywhere.
And I I bet you sisters and brothers that you were saved more than what you know because of the countless prayers of your mothers hidden from your consciousness.
But a mother is always praying for the good and for the best of her children.
And that without our knowing small because of the prayer of a mother.
That's why you know in my theology when I look back at the way I should understand God as hessed. Hessed in the Hebrew Bible when you say God is hassed and in Hebrew Bible they call him Hess God is a mother in the imagery of mercy.
That's the mother.
That's the mother in God. The has said that no matter what happens, God never abandons his people. And so what is better way to understand the gospel than to bring ourselves back to the love of the mother. And so Jesus becomes more meaningful in the way we discover him in the readings because he is sending the Holy Spirit.
And we know that the Holy Spirit is the fruit of the relations between God and Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is the imagery of love between God and Jesus.
So that God would relate to his people in the most intimate and consoling way. That's the only God that becomes intimate and meaningful to people.
And so we come to realize that the value of a mother is someone who really transforms the child or the person that we are because of the intimate and nonabandoning love and the sacrifice of a mother. And that should be the image of the church that Jesus would like to entrust the Holy Spirit in the theology of Bernard Lonergon.
Jesus has given birth of the church because of the Holy Spirit. So that when we belong to the church, we are given birth to a new person that we are.
And that is governed by the way the acts of the apostle should be understood because once they are overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit, their lives never becomes private. Their lives never become private and they proclaim boldly relating even to the Gentiles proclaiming of this fundamental relations of love of God and Jesus in the Holy Spirit.
Ontologically in philosophy they say we are all human beings but you know we become persons by entering into relationships and that gives birth to the person that we are and the only person that we are bears the breath of God.
discovering what it means to be fully human created in the image and likeness of God.
I am two month two days old coming from a renewal course in Nei. I just came from Nami for two months and two weeks course and I I made my my renewal of my 25 years as a priest s very tomb of St. Francis of Aisi and when there were no people already around the tomb so I stayed there and you know Googled the the format for the renewal of of priestly vows and I don't know but people were looking at me there uh embracing the tomb of St. France Aisi and I was reciting my renewal of commitment to become the priest in the example not of St. Arnold Johnson but the example now of St. Francis of Aisi. I don't know but I was so drawn and attracted to the spirituality of St. Francis of Aisi. I was trying to break the person that I become worthy of God in the most difficult way. And that's what I work out in my renewal. And you know after one week when I thought that I practiced the the way of contemplation I was walking down the nei where Castell Gandalfo was located. I visited the the bedroom of Pope Paul II and then when I came back you know imbued with the inspiration of St. Franc. So I was picking all the the uh trusses on the way that that's my prayer. So uh I I saw a bottle then I I I pick it up and then I put in the trust bean and then along the way until I reach my room. The following day there was a police uh because they reported me, the village reported me that there's a foreigner here, a black foreigner, a small foreigner with with a few few hair uh intruding into our private private residence.
And so they were looking for that picture and eventually director of the house found me in the dining room. Is this you, father Aino? Yes. Oh, come there is a policeman looking for you.
And so without knowing about Italian and everything. I cannot speak Italian. So translator. So father uh the policeman was saying you were intruding to the private property of of Italian citizens by using the trust bin. You cannot do that father.
And so it is a violation to clean the road with trusses and put into the private bins of the Italians. that is no no. And I will explain to them I was just drawn by the commitment to see the environment clean and the spirit blowing uh spontaneously by putting things in order. And then the owner withdrew the the complaint because of that power of the contemplation the creation spirituality espoused by St. Francis of Aisi.
And so sisters and brothers when the Holy Spirit comes and given as a gift where you're imbued with that gift of Jesus that God never abandons people. What a beautiful person that God create in us when we are possessed by the Holy Spirit.
The first fruit of that in the gospel in the reading is that the legitimate fruit of the Holy Spirit is the capacity to relate with others in the most holy and intimate way.
And second is that when we are possessed by the Holy Spirit, then we're impelled to love no matter what it takes.
We cannot be private.
And the third manifestation or the image of the Holy Spirit is that we find joy in whatever things we do. And so at this point in time when I reflect on the on the love of the mother when I know that the Holy Spirit is possessed by a loving mother.
What becomes a secret to a mother is that a mother wills always what is good for the other. A mother cannot deny herself but to will what is good for her children.
And at this point in time in my life when I get older, this becomes even more clearer, even more clear that when I am drawn by the commitment to do good as a person and I learned that people remember me or people remember you not because of your profession, not Because of what is contained in your pocket, not because of what you know, not because of what you build, but people will remember you and even immortalize you by the act of love that every single day you share with other people. That's a commitment that will transform the church and transform the world to create persons with a spirit of God's image and likeness in every one of us. Amen.
>> Please stand.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ's only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontious Pilot, was crucified, died, and was buried. He ascended into hell. On the third day, he rose again from the dead. He ascended into he and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of s, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
>> Amen.

Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore you. May the same spirit graciously make holy these gifts we have brought to you for consecration that they may become for us the body and blood of your son, our Lord Jesus Christ. At whose command we celebrate the sacred mysteries.
For on the night he was betrayed, he himself took bread. Then giving thanks, he said the blessing, broke the bread, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take this all of you and eat of it. For this is my body which will be given up for you.
In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and giving you thanks, he said the blessing and gave the chalice to his disciples, saying, "Take this all of you and drink from it.
For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
Do this in memory of me.
