So, sounds like half of you guys already have a slush wallet, which means hopefully by the end of this talk, the other half will also download the wallet. All right, so I'm Bower. I'm the product lead for wallets and payments at Mitsen Labs. And today, I'm going to spend some time talking to you, sharing with you what the Slush team has been building on top of all the really cool financial and payment primitives and tools that are everyone has been talking about all morning.

[00:01:18]And yeah, let's do this. Okay. So, first before we go deeper, kind of want just talk about like, you know, what why we build the way we do and what we're trying to solve, right? The problem is actually quite simple. Everyone here kind of knows it, which is most people who try crypto actually never end up coming back or they don't stay. And it's like it's very complicated, right? You get a wallet, okay, check. Now, you have to actually load the wallet, whether that's through a bridge towards like buying on an off-ramp, doing a swap, etc. Every step is very complicated. And then you still have to think about okay where do I actually put my money what type of like allocation of asset do I need to actually make this work it's very complicated even for me like took me a long time to feel comfortable and in the middle of all that journey a lot of people just kind of drop off and that's obviously not what we want right as we have seen all morning and you'll continue here later today we at miss have a strong belief that crypto is going to be a step change improvement for payment and finance and that's not going to happen if no one knows how to use it obviously agents is one thing But we also want us the bio based humans here to also profit right okay so that's why we build slush the way we do making it super easy for you to actually access and use suite and at the same time we are the browser to the ecosystem and we're also a money app which really boils down down to three very simple things hold grow and spend we want you to be able to acquire hold your assets easily we want you to be able to invest and grow them and ultimately we want you to be able spend them and leverage them for your own benefit.

[00:02:53]Okay, so starting with holding aka funding your wallet. So honestly, we just created many ways in super easy for you to get in and get out, right?

[00:03:00]Earlier we heard about ZK login where you can use something like your Gmail or your Facebook to get a self-custody wallet within seconds and immediately the way Slush is built that you can have many ways to fund your wallet and we make it easy for you to both buy and sell. So there is no concept of money.

[00:03:16]So you don't have to worry. And here we have an example of a feature that just went live today, which is now you're able to buy sweet dollar natively within the wallet and you can use v various instant payment options like Apple Pay, Google Pay or AC.

[00:03:34]Awesome. And I just want to take a quick beat here on why we're talking about USC so much. We're all very excited, right?

[00:03:39]Because USC is really a really good ethos for what we're trying to do here, which is you don't want your money to stay idle. You don't want your money to not work for you, right? And as we have learned earlier today, USC is a perfect example of a stable coin that's not sitting silent. It's not sitting quiet.

[00:03:55]USC automatically by default actually is earning yield off of their treasury and that yield is being injected back to the ecosystem bringing benefits to the builders and also to the user that are transacting with it.

[00:04:09]Okay. However, if you want more than just a default, this is where slush strategies come in, right? We want you to put your money to work. So, kind of like what I mentioned right now to actually invest in DeFi. Now, if you're a DJ who knows what you're doing, obviously you can create a lot of opportunities for yourself, but most people are not going to understand that.

[00:04:28]You have to pick the protocol, pick the right ratio of asset, understanding what's the difference between an LP, a vault, whatever it is, and different chains, etc. So we collapse all of that complexity into a one-click inapp thing called we call strategy. So here again you can see the example using USC which is also live as of today. You pick the asset you care about and then you click the strategy right if you want something safer maybe more um more stable you can pick a native staking you can pick a lending pool or if you want to have higher yield you can go for a vault as an example. And again, we make it super easy. If you don't have the right asset that you want to invest in at the moment, no worries. We will auto zap for you at no cost. And when you withdraw, same thing. You can withdraw in the same type of tokens or you can withdraw stable coins also no cost. So you can see we basically wrap the entire complexity into a inapp experience and you never have to leave the app. You invest, you see your portfolio, we you and then you withdraw.

[00:05:28]Okay. So, I spent a couple minutes talking about funding your wallet, holding, and also growing your asset.

[00:05:34]However, as a money app, obviously, money isn't real unless you can actually spend it and then benefit from it, right? Which is why today I'm very excited to announce for the very first time.

[00:06:01]Okay, so I won't have too much time to go into a lot of details, but just to share a few key points with you. Again, we care a lot about making your money work for you. You should be able to spend without selling your DeFi investments. So, here's what happens, right?

[00:06:16]Um you can choose how you want to basically pay it off when you spend your asset that powers the card is still is still earning yield for you. Um, taking a step back, many of you guys know right now when you want to actually, you know, earn or sorry, spend the money you have made in crypto, first you have to convert to a stable coin, then you have to send it to maybe something like an exchange to off-ramp it, fund your bank account, and then pay, right? This process very arduous and oftent times you have to generate tons of financial reports. In this case, right, you no longer have to do that. You can actually directly spend just tap and go anywhere where cards are accepted using your sweet assets.

[00:06:54]And of course, um, just want to call that out because it's very where I'm very excited what this means for me personally, too. 130 million merchants will be covered across 150 different countries.

[00:07:06]Okay. So, how do we do this, right? So, it really comes down to you will be able to repay on your terms. Obviously, when you tap a card, now you have a balance that you have to settle. And you can choose to be simple. Just say, "Okay, yeah, do I just pay it off, use my US3, whatever, right?" You can also say actually I want to pay it off using the invested amount in my D5 balance. Or you can say I don't want to pay it off right now. Let me actually borrow against my investments and then pay it off this way. Right? So you can see it's going to be super easy. You don't have to do any pre-planning. You don't have to move money around. Uh we basically give you all as an option that you basically configure inside your wallet. Um and yeah, no transfer, no complexity.

[00:07:48]Okay.
