Walsh reduces a human tragedy to a mere technicality of procedural training and liability management. This clinical focus on protocols sanitizes the violence while ignoring the deeper systemic failures behind the incident.

DUBLIN: Congolese Man Killed By Security Guards!!!Added:
Super crazy news story that's taking over the internet in Ireland over the last number of days. On May 15th last, on Friday, a Cong man named Eves Sakila was allegedly caught shoplifting in Dublin city center in Arnut. For those who don't know, Arnut is a very high-end store. They sell Gucci, Louis Vuitton, those kind of items. And as he was attempting to escape, he actually knocked over an 8-year-old man. And the 8-year-old man broke his leg or hip. And then as the security guards caught him and tried to restrain him, they actually ended up killing him. Okay, so they murdered this guy on the middle of the street in Dublin outside of Arnut. And we actually have the video of it here today. This is a pretty hard watch, guys. So viewer discretion is advised, but I'm going to show you this video and I'm going to give you my opinion about what I think should have happened and what went wrong in this video.
Absolutely sad, you know, to see a man died. RIP to this man. Of course, I'm a Christian. Nobody should be dying. God said, "Thou shalt not kill." And in a first world country, if we're taking it from a legal standpoint, you know, we shouldn't have to kill people to restrain them. But unfortunately, this is what happened here. So, we're going to watch the video first, guys. It's circulating all over X. You can see in this video, I just want to say there's three men that restrain him. Okay? One dude is a black dude with dreadlocks.
Okay? Could be Jamaican or something like that. There's a Middle Eastern man, a heavy set Middle Eastern man, tall, heavy set. And then the third guy that's restraining him is a British man. Okay, it sounds like it from his accent. So, there's no Irish people involved in this attack. Thank God because we know the backlash would be crazy and and what it would look like would look crazy. Okay, but yeah, there's three men involved in actually restraining him here and complete lack of training in restraining people and that's why this guy died.
together.
Yes.
Oh yeah.
Lay down.
I used to work.
Amen.
>> Excuse me. No, don't react after him because if you react to him, you'll leave the security have a problem. So, I think it's best you just wait till the police come and get him.
Okay.
What are you doing?
Wow.
You're welcome.
Yeah.
>> He brought some iron and something.
Oh my god.
>> So pretty tough watch. Okay, that man ended up actually dying at the scene. He became unresponsive and then they brought him to the hospital and he actually died because of that. They should have ran CPR immediately. You know, this is the situation, guys.
Complete lack of training. You have three guys there. It looked like there was a couple more in and out, but there will be a massive trial because of this.
Okay, there's going to be a massive murder trial because they are going to be liable for this. At least three people there. There was a couple of guys working security that were wearing the blue uniform. I've never seen those guys before. or I'm not sure they like, you know, just security on the road or whatever. But this is absolutely insane that this could happen, guys, because obviously complete lack of training from the three lads that was training him.
The black dude with the dreadlocks was holding his legs, which was good. Then you had the big heavy set guy, the Middle Eastern man, who was basically putting all his weight on his back and his neck. The one thing we were taught when we were doing security, I worked security for eight years, so no better man to talk about this. You know, you have to have a license to work security here in Ireland. And one of the things that we were taught in that course and in judo, I did martial arts for three years, were that if you lay somebody flat and you put your weight on top of them, very easy way to kill them. Okay?
And this could have all been prevented if they were given handcuffs. Okay? This is why the police all around the world use handcuffs because they know that if you try and restrain somebody and you're not trained like a black belt in jiu-jitsu, it's extremely tough, guys.
You can actually kill somebody very easily. And unfortunately, this is what ended up happening. I did a video yesterday. I didn't know what the hell actually happened. Uh, this is absolutely crazy, guys. You know, we have three guys here that are completely liable for murder and they're probably going to get a massive prison sentence because although he was committing a crime, you're not allowed to kill somebody. You know, we don't have capital murder in this country, guys. We don't have capital murder. So, we can't actually put people to death in this country. And even if that was the case, like in the Middle East, you know, with Sharia law and stuff, they still like chop off your hand. They don't murder you or kill you or they just lock you up for 40 years. Okay, so like I said, terrible, terrible case, but I hope the community in Dublin talk about this in a way that it could have been prevented as well. You know, we have to give people the tough facts and we have to analyze these things as professionals. And I would say first and foremost, if this guy wasn't shoplifting at Arnuts and he has a history of it as well. He got caught last year in 2025 with perfume.
If he wasn't shoplifting, he wouldn't have got killed, guys. He wouldn't have got murdered. Not that he is to blame for this, of course not. But at the same time, guys, communities have to tell people, "Hey guys, when you commit stupid things and do stupid stuff like shoplifting and you do robbery and you do crazy stuff, you know, you're doing basically violence onto the public as well. He broke an 8-year-old's hip or leg. Bad things are going to happen to you, okay? The universe will not allow you to get away with stuff like that.
Okay, let's talk about it from that standpoint. Secondly, you know, from a practical standpoint, from a logical standpoint, if you are a shoplifting guys, you know, you do run the risk of getting put in prison. And the way that Guardi basically restrain people is not always the best. Okay? Especially people that aren't trained. At least the Guardi are trained somewhat. And for those who don't know, the Guardi have actually had more deaths in custody than in the USA.
Okay? per capita, we actually have like three times as many deaths in custody in police custody because you have a duty of care over that person when you go to restrain somebody whether it's a flipping citizens arrest or you know this is basically a security arresting him. I don't know how much law these guys have on the streets like you know if it goes outside of arnets I think from a legal standpoint it's up to the guard to arrest this guy but you know inside arnets of course they would have been allowed to you know basically arrest this guy easily. Okay, that's their that's their job. I don't know how much power of arrest these guys have, but they should absolutely have handcuffs. I They absolutely they could have prevented this. As soon as you get on top of a guy, put his hands behind his back, and then you put the handcuffs on, you can immediately sit him up and actually stand him up. They're not going anywhere at that point. But when you don't have handcuffs to restrain somebody or whatever, you have a means of restraining the person even with some rope or done, okay, you run the risk of killing the guy because it is extremely easy to kill people. Understand that happened within 10 seconds. Okay?
Asphyxiation where he was lying on his chest and it's very reminiscent of George Floyd. But with George Floyd, he had fentil in his system. So he was struggling to breathe when he was in the back of the police car. If you guys remember the footage, there's a police activity. You can go on their page and check out their footage. It's got like 10 million views where the police actually put him in the back of the car first and foremost. And he was kind of going wild because he couldn't breathe.
He was actually dying from fentinol overdose as well. But also Derek Shavean has a duty of care to him. So when he put him on his chest and put his knee on his neck, he ultimately also aided in that death. So he basically, you know, although he didn't kill him directly, you know, the fentol I believe the coroner said the fentol killed him, he also died because the police officers have a duty of care here. The security should not be doing this. I believe that when we were told working in security, working in a shop, working in Tesco's or Dun or working in Arnets in their case, you don't have a power of arrest. I don't understand, guys. Even if the guy's robbing the store, for me personally, you know, I would just let the guy go if they're outside the shop.
You know, obviously, you have to run after them and take the stuff off them.
And we did that multiple times. I know my friends did that as well. You have to basically take the items off the people that are robbing the store. You don't really have a power of arrest, per se.
You know, you kind of do, of course, they kind of do in a way, but to me, it's just too much a risk. And they told us work in security. If someone's robbing the shop with €50 worth of stuff, don't even bother running after them or trying to restrain them because you can be liable then uh for murder or if assault. If they end up getting hurt in any way, you're liable. So, I hope to see lawyers talk about this. I'd love to see some Irish lawyers talk about this case, but this is going to go to trial and this is going to be a massive trial, guys. You know, like I said, thank God there was no Irish guys restraining him because there'd be a massive backlash, you know, towards Irish people. So, we know that for a fact. There was really no Irish pe people restraining him there at the beginning or on top of him. It was a big Middle Eastern guy, a British guy, and a black dude. So, we have to really reiterate that. So, you know, thank God there's no fl Irish people restraining him cuz you know what it would look like. Terrible, right? People are talking about racism online immediately. I Joseph Ireland's racism sar and a number of NOS's have already pronounced this label as systematic racism. I don't believe that guys. I just think it's improper training.
Terrible training. This could have been absolutely prevented easily. You know, as soon as you got three or four guys on top of a guy, you don't need to put all your weight on top of him. Just, you know, tie his hands up. You know, don't even and sit him up. You know, was he resisting arrest there? Again, that will come out in the trial. I'm just speculating. We actually can't really say what exactly happened here. I put up a video yesterday saying this guy had it coming to him. Well, I don't know, guys.
He already robbed the store a few times.
And like I said, if you do crazy [ __ ] you're robbery, you're hurting people, you're whatever, you know, demolishing property, whatever it is, guys, if you're involved in criminal activity, bad things can happen to you. That's when [ __ ] starts to go downhill. So the best case scenario, don't get involved in criminal activity. Does this guy deserve to die? Absolutely not, guys.
We're all Christian here in Ireland. I believe the main religion in the Congo is Christianity as well. So, you know, this is not good, guys. This is absolutely terrible to see this. And and people are already using this to kind of compare to George Floyd. It's not the same, guys. George Floyd had drugs in his system. It was a whole situation. If you guys go watch the trial on that one, it was crazy. But this one, it'll be interesting to see. He was apparently a homeless man as well. So, he was homeless at the time of this and he needed to get money from this kind of robbery. You suppose that he would rob the shop and then he would go and sell the items to make some money cuz he was homeless. So, super super terrible case.
But let me know your thoughts in the comment section down below, guys. man is he was 35 years old and the Irish network against racism said it's been very concerned that excessive force may have been used against the congalles man who died following alleged shoplifting incident in Dublin last week also a lot of people aren't talking about this as well we have an 80-year-old man that got hit somehow whether he hit security or he was hit by this guy and he's in his 80s and if you break your hip in your 80s or break your leg in your 80s you have like a flipping 50% chance of dying within the next 6 months so extremely extremely big chance that the man that also got hit, the man in his 80s got hit will die as well. So potentially two deaths on the case here, which is a disaster, guys. I'm also very interested on to see what the postmortem examination would actually say because we don't know. Did he have drugs in his system? Did he die from asphixxiation from guys sitting on top of him? That's obviously the most likely. But what exactly happened to this guy? It would be very, very interesting to see because the coroner would actually follow that up pretty quickly. It's been a few days now, so I'm not sure why the coroner hasn't released what exactly happened here. They should have done a post-mortem extremely quickly, like a day or two afterwards, but there is no evidence of them talking about any sort of death or suffocation. It says that the man was held to the ground for almost 5 minutes. And this is the thing, guys, like I said, if they had handcuffs, they could have easily just handcuffed him, sat him upright, and then stood him up, and we would have been good to go. Would have been all happy. Okay, the guy's in jail. Arrest the guy. Of course, he deserves to go to jail for a long time. You hate to see any robbery, but dying in this case, absolutely horrendous, guys. Nobody deserves to die for being a suspect of shoplifting. And he's not really a suspect. I mean, obviously, clearly he was robbing stuff, guys. I mean, they're saying he's suspected to be shoplifting.
No, guys, he absolutely did shoplift.
So, terrible case. Let me know your thoughts, guys. If you want to support me, hit the join link underneath the video. Become a member today for just €3 per month.
