Turning edible glitter cookies into my full-time job

[00:00:00]My inspiration to start baking was actually because of a pregnancy craving that I developed in one of my pregnancies. I became very, very obsessed with chocolate chip cookies and not a cookie on earth was [music] satisfying the craving. My goal was to just get in the kitchen and create the best chocolate chip cookie so I could kind of silence my sweet tooth. And then as time went on, I got really encouraged by friends and family to [music] start a business. I had started putting edible glitter on a lot of my cookies [music] and treats for my kids. I wanted to do something that was just a little bit more fun and enchanting. When the time came to choose a name for the business, I already knew that I wanted something that was going to be glittery themed. I feel like personally, [music] I am a sassy person, but I'm very like sweet.

[00:00:48]So, I feel like Glitter Smack and like the whole vibe of it is just [music] like this sassy There's a logo on it.

[00:00:54]It's like it's a fairy. It's like a fairy in like the logo. So, it's like she's like this sassy, fun [music] fairy that's like sparkly and I I think that sometimes I kind of see myself like that a little bit. Like I'm not sparkly right now, but that's just kind of my vibe. I call this the Glitter Smack Classic because this is the cookie that clearly [music] started everything. It's just a browned butter chocolate chip cookie and it has [music] dark chocolate chunks, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and a Hershey square flicked into the top that melts. So, when you [music] take a bite, you're getting like three different chocolates and the dough and the sea salt on it. It's insane.
