Women Having MENTAL BREAKDOWNS As The Loneliness Epidemic Hits Them Hard.
Added:Like I am not happy with how my life's going. I don't know how to change it.
The panic and the fear and the loneliness is like something I never thought I would have to deal with ever.
And I'm like so happy for a lot of my friends. But like >> I'm 22 and I feel so lonely [music] in my 20s. I just want to cry because I just want to feel love.
>> I've been thinking about how lonely it is [music] being single in your 20s.
>> Being 30 and single with no kids is such a wild ride.
>> I think adults were well equipped to handle loneliness. Today I just sat and I really really wanted to move through this feeling. But loneliness is like feeling very stuck. It feels like you're never going to not feel this way and it just really hurts.
>> 31 and I still have yet to have a a boyfriend.
And I would say that I'm at a stage in my life where obviously I very much want to be in a relationship. I want to find my person. I want to have a partner to do life with. I don't want to be alone. I >> I love living alone, don't get me wrong.
But don't be fooled, 90% of my nights are literally just me sitting in front of my TV or on my phone or reading. This is the setup. This is my dinner. It's just me and my dog, of course. But if I'm being real, like it does get very lonely sometimes. It would be cool to on occasion have a roommate or like a boyfriend or something. I >> I'm 30 years old. I'm single. I live at home. I spent the last year like running around trying to figure out stuff and I'm back at home. My job is hard.
Uh all my friends are getting married and engaged and I'm not. Life just every day feels the same somehow. Sometimes Sometimes I'm like what the heck am I doing?
>> It's like I have so many wonderful things that I can share with somebody else.
And it seems like whenever I even get the tiniest glimpse of hope. Just the tiniest.
It immediately disappears. What's meant for me will find me. I truly believe that.
But it's really hard to continue to stay hopeful and positive when just nothing works out.
Like nothing.
And I'm not going to settle.
>> I literally do everything by myself. I mean, of course, I have friends and stuff, but like day-to-day things, I don't live close to my family, so I do literally everything by myself.
I am very independent. There are days where I kind of just sit there and I'm like, "Wow, I'm lonely."
>> I'm not going to settle. I don't want to lower my standards or accept less than I deserve because I would rather be alone, but my god, it's so draining. Dating is draining. I just can't keep doing it. So it At what point do you just >> [snorts] >> accept being single forever? I don't >> Okay, being 32 and single and on dating apps.
>> [laughter] >> I just love life.
I love it.
I love life. I love it so much.
>> I'm feeling the loneliness today. This is one of those down days, one of those hard days when you've given up dating, there is nobody, you know, and you know you got to do this.
But I feel a little bit like I'm faltering, you know.
I hate being lonely. I hate it. I It's not that I don't love myself. It's not that I can't figure out ways to preoccupy myself. I have my music, I have my singing. I'm going to start learning guitar. I I enjoy playing piano.
You know, but there are just times where no matter what I do, no matter how many songs I sing, no matter how many Tik Toks I make, you know, no matter how how much I distract myself the emptiness just kind of eats me.
I'm tired.
I'm tired. I'm I'm exhausted.
I'm mad.
I have so much anxiety. I can't can't even function as a human being anymore.
Why? Why am never good enough?
Why? Why am I right here in this parking lot wondering what did I do wrong this time? What was it?
Why they all leave?
Why am never pretty enough, funny enough, smart enough?
Why am never worth it?
And they don't tell you what's wrong.
They just leave.
And I'm tired.
>> I was talking to my friend yesterday and I think we figured out why women can't date most of the men in this generation.
Men like to say that women are chasing the top 10% of guys based on looks, height, dick size, money. It's nothing to do with these things. It's because most masculine men who are confident and assertive are not kind, caring, or sensitive or emotionally intelligent.
The most attractive and manly guys I've come across can be quite cold and rude and lacking in empathy. And then the men who have evolved to be kind, caring, and emotionally intelligent, and empathetic, they are now overly feminine. They're lacking in the confidence and assertiveness, which is just not attractive to women. Women are hardwired to be attracted to a confident, assertive provider type who would have protected you in the caveman times. So, you got the strong, confident men in their math >> Girl, and you're beautiful, smart, hard-working, and driven, you are most likely single right now. And all the guys are going to get pissed right now, but it's so true. I honestly just think the options are so limited because hear me out. So, like as a girl, you want to find a partner that exceeds you in every single area. So, like you want someone that looks better than you, is smarter than you, is more hard-working, has better like social characteristics. Like you look for a partner that has like better qualities than you, or at least like meets you. And not to be an absolute [ __ ] of a person, but it's like when you're a girl that has all of her [ __ ] together, is looks good, is hard-working, makes a lot of money, it's like where do you go from there? There's so limited options.
And then it's like the guys that are good options that would fit your standards are just [ __ ] because like they have every option in the world. Cuz there's no absolute way I'm marrying someone that makes less money than me, isn't as funny, or like doesn't have as good of people skills. Like there's just no way that that's happening.
>> Like I'm 30, have no boyfriend, and have no kids. So, I wish I could be one of them people that was happy by themselves. Like I could go and join my own company, and read books, and get a hobby, and that's just not me. I enjoy being with people. So, when you have no people to be with, it's really [ __ ] hard. Then I did not think at 16 that this is what my life would be like.
I thought I would be struggling my whole life.
>> [snorts] >> That I would still not have found my group of people, my people. Like I have my best friend, >> [snorts] >> and other friends, but I still feel as pretty [ __ ]
