Field Elementary investigating allegations against staff member

[00:00:00]News at Field Elementary School in Louisville say they're investigating allegations against a staff member. The principal wrote to parents saying the school's received several calls and emails about a social media post involving that staff member. In the post, the mother of a non-verbal autistic child said she hid a camera in her son's hair concerned about what was happening at school. She claims the footage captured him being verbally and physically abused by the staff member.

[00:00:26]Now, we are not naming him as he has not been charged or disciplined by JCPS. A district spokesperson would not confirm whether he's been reassigned for the investigation. Metro Council member Tammy Hawkins has called a press conference to address student safety at Field tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
