China's economic engagement with Africa has significantly improved living standards through infrastructure development, technology accessibility, and mutual economic benefits, as demonstrated by universal 4G internet coverage in Nigeria, affordable smartphones, and construction booms in countries like Burkina Faso, showing how strategic trade partnerships can create win-win outcomes for both parties.

Africa's Economic Rise: How China's Trade Boosts Living Standards and Tech #AfricaEconomy追加:
Actually, what has happened ever since Africa started having that huge economic interaction with China is that living standards have rocketed upward.
And yet, the the Chinese partners are seeing the economic value that they want as well. Now, ever since that engagement, that interaction with the Chinese came in, to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a single person in Nigeria now that isn't covered by at the very least by a 4G internet network. The the the cost barrier to having nice things has been drastically lowered by the Chinese. Now, you can walk into a shop with $50 and get a cheap Android smartphone. Mhm.
You know, the basic underlying technology is is is not that different, but the Chinese have made it such that everybody has been able to win. And they've they've been able to get something out of it because obviously they're not doing it for free, but we've also won massively, and the the compounding effects in terms of uh life expectancy, in terms of GDP growth, the outcomes are amazing. Now, on a weekly basis, when I drive by the ports, you see these huge uh shipments going coming into going to Burkina Faso, and it's construction equipments, basically.
They're all going to Burkina Faso, and that country is basically witnessing a construction boom, the likes of which it has never witnessed in its entire 60-plus year history before, simply because the barriers to entry for everything are so much lower. They just renegotiated a few gold mining contracts here and there, and the excess money that it's had is using that to invest in its infrastructure, and it's having such a dramatic effect on quality of life in that country. So, really, there actually is no reason why everybody has to suffer, which is why I said this this will sound a bit um utopian, but the the vision of the world that I see really is a vision of the world where everybody gets to have nice things and nobody has to suffer so that the next person can have nice things.
