[00:00:02]This is a metal rod, which is hollow. I have one magnet and one non-magnet near but I do not know which is which. All right? So, you got to decide later which is magnet and guess, okay? [00:00:50]They will generate opposing flux. This opposing flux will oppose will generate upward force on this magnet when it fall down. And this upward force balances the weight of this magnet. So, what happen next is that when upward force balances the weight, the object will reach terminal velocity. Terminal velocity means what? Means it cannot accelerate anymore. They will just move at constant maximum speed. That's why they take longer time to reach the floor.
