The Hidden Reality Of XRP Repricing And The Ripple DTCC Institutional Connection

[00:00:00]Hey everybody, this is the digital asset investor and we have allout panic in the XRP markets.

[00:00:07]The price is down and everybody's panicking. The only thing I'm panicking about is whether I have have the amount of money to buy more XRP than what so I'm working on that right now. And I plan on making a uh buy here in the next day or two hopefully. Um but uh Dom Quac had pointed out something uh he says the number one question I get these days is why are the markets down despite positive news? He lists several things inflation fears, traders selling the news, all eyes on AI, uh price dictates sentiment, but he finishes here by saying remember sentiment will shift fast once rates peak and another major catalyst occurs. We've got so many things going on. Everybody's freaking out about, "Oh, the DTCC chose Stellar."

[00:01:03]Folks, I've been here through every single up and down that you can even name. And every single time it's all um it's all just shortterm freakouts over nothing. And this is certainly uh a a similar situation. And I'll go through that and the DTCC thing. And I'll show you I'm also going to go over uh what I would call repricing XRP and how I believe that'll happen. And it's not exactly it won't happen the way you're used to, but we're going to get into all that. So enjoy the intro.

[00:02:06]Okay, let's start here because this is Luke Judges who I always like to point out Luke Judges from Ripple who who is middle management at a bank called Ripple and he points out none of these things killed blockchain. I've lived through every single one of these including Mount Gaus. Mount Gaus didn't kill it. Larry Frink calling it an index of money laundering didn't kill it.

[00:02:31]Jamie Diamond says calling it Bitcoin is hyped up fraud didn't kill it. Bitfinex um non Bitcoin ETF applications rejected. Crackdown on ICOs lawsuit against Ripple. Teruna Celsius.

[00:02:44]Um I can't remember what that one was. I can barely see it, but I I recognize the logo. I remember it. Um FTX and SVB.

[00:02:53]None of it killed it. They and nobody was tried to be killed. Did I say that right? Nobody. There was no attempted killing more than the lawsuit against Ripple.

[00:03:06]And that didn't even kill. So that's it's important to keep perspective uh in these things. So let's look. Let's go to the split screen. So yesterday we had the DTCC and Stellar Development Foundation and all of the uh I saw some of the Bitcoin max. Oh, it's they they chose Stellar, folks. You think there's going to be one chain involved in the moving quadrillions of dollars? Come on.

[00:03:34]Plus one add one added thing. Did any of the Bitcoin maxis that thought they were doing a victory lap asked themselves this? Well, how come the DTCC didn't partner with Bitcoin? Oh, my bad. You can't build anything on Bitcoin. The only money Bitcoin gets is the money they talk people into investing, whether it's a country or talk the US into a Bitcoin reserve. That's why Bitcoin is going to be an altcoin. Because the bigger picture of what's going to happen involves things like Stellar, XRP, I could name a few, Hideera.

[00:04:12]I mean, there will be a list of them.

[00:04:14]Cardano, but it'll be a it's even Brad Garlinghouse said it's going to be a multi-chain world. True Son's got it right here. Those who say DTCC chose Stellar XRP is finished are the ones who who think blockchain technology ex consists of just a single playground.

[00:04:32]Think of it like a factory. Stellar is the system that packages and labels the products inside the factory. XRP on the other hand is the massive highway and logistics network that transports those products to ports worldwide in milliseconds. DTCC start starting to tokenize assets on Stellar will only accelerate the asset volume quadrillion quadrillions of dollars flowing onto the digital finance highway. As this volume hits the market, the only bridge asset capable of absorbing that massive liquidity will once again be XRP.

[00:05:05]And then Smoke had pointed this out.

[00:05:08]Multiple blockchain networks. DTCC has told you they're going to link up with multiple blockchain networks. They even told you in the the press release on Stellar. Here's the press release right here from yesterday. DTC uh tokenized service to connect with Stellar public blockchain as DTC advances its multi-chain strategy.

[00:05:34]Scroll down here. This is from Naen Chakar Chakar DTCC managing director. We are we are excited to integrate multiple L1 and L2 networks to ensure interoperability and open access for users of the DTC tokenization service.

[00:05:50]And many forget this not I mean just what day was this? This was two days ago. A6Z had tweeted this out. Looking ahead, forecast for tokenized assets vary a lot more, vary a lot, but they all point in the same direction. Growth and they've got Ripple at getting 9.4 trillion by 2030, 18.9 trillion by 2033 right there.

[00:06:17]Okay, that's this is the largest venture capital firm in the world who is connected all the way to DC DTCC.

[00:06:25]I think they would know. So, all this freaking I can't even count the number of times I've seen freaking out going on about all this. Now, let's get to how your XRP is going to be repriced. I think that when when the we could call it the great XRP repricing occurs, you won't even know it. You're not going to be staring at Coin Market Cap when it happens. That's not how this goes down.

[00:06:49]It goes down the way is saying right here. I want to be clear. I want to clear up a misconception here. Banks won't be purchasing XRP at $589 as a speculative asset. That's a retail misconception. Imagine a bank transferring $10 billion. XRP liquidity will be utilized directly instead of maintaining custo costly no vostro accounts. The system sources $10 billion worth of XRP. They may source it from me or you, but they're going to source it.

[00:07:20]They s the system will source $10 billion worth of XRP. transfers it instantly, settles it into KRW, TRY, JPY, euro or dollars. A higher nominal price is a mathematical necessity to provide deeper liquidity. A higher price guarantees significantly less slippage and drastically lowers transaction costs for financial institutions. This is the core mechanism of ODL, Ripple payments.

[00:07:48]Folks, this has all been planned years ago with governments, Wall Street, major financial institutions.

[00:07:56]It's happening. Ripple's trying to tell you. I mean, they put it in their advertising. It's happening.

[00:11:25]This guy his whole existence is talking his book. I would bet dimes the donuts this guy has been accumulating XRP all through this but has been waiting to start talking about it when the time comes. And and the time that this guy will start talking about it is going to be after legislation when he knows that the infrastructure is going to be going full throttle. And then all of a sudden you're going to hear guys like this talking about it like they're heroes.

[00:11:54]We've been talking about adoption of blockchain into enterprise. Let's call that the S&P 500 for 15 years. 15 years.

[00:12:02]It's never happened. So, one of the reasons it's never happened is because it's not compliant.

[00:12:09]And that's because most of the S&P 500 are issuers under the SEC in debt and equity. So, if something is not adopted and approved by the SEC and the regulator, they don't care what it is.

[00:12:22]They're not going to touch it. However, this act coming through the structure act, Jill Debrandt was just at consensus on stage with Hagerty back in Washington. They say the markups are accelerating with staffers that we may get this cleared before the midterms. If that's true, it won't help the poo poos.

[00:12:42]But what it will help is what whichever chain out there becomes standardized in the S&P 500. So, what you want to do, and I'm trying to do this, and it's not easy, is figure out which of the level ones or level twos or or any chain because it's not going to be Ethereum, I don't think.

[00:13:00]>> You're right.

[00:13:00]>> It doesn't have all the attributes that it needs to be enterprise for contract management, let's say, or um inventory logistics or whatever it is. But there will be one. And the way you'll know it is it will start to be adopted by each sector of the S&P which is 11 sectors.

[00:13:20]So if all of a sudden you see real estate adopt that chain and then another sector adopts the same chain and then a third adopts that chain that chain is probably trading at some massive discount whatever it is or it be new one. I doubt it though but something new because there's always the threat about software being affected by AI. It was it got crushed and all these chains are just software. So, is it possible that AI would write a new chain? I don't know. But it wouldn't matter. The moat would be that it got adopted by so many S&P 500 companies. The minute I figure that one out, that's the next big thing in crypto.

[00:14:02]>> Why Why does a ETF make sense for large institutional allocators?

[00:14:08]>> Yeah, absolutely. And yeah, it was frustrating to always be waiting for the the the world to catch up to the future, you see. Um, but that's just the case of being, you know, in an innovative area.

[00:14:19]Um, why do why do ETFs make sense for large institutional people? Um, there are a bunch of reasons. Uh, one is that they're really cheap. So, you know, our ETF is 20 basis points, 2% per year, and that includes custody, tax, audit, trading, reporting. you have to be a very large institution managing a very lot of money to get that kind of deal with a custodian, right? Um so just on a pure cost basis, uh at this point at these prices, the ETF is often the cheapest way for people to get full institutional quality. Why?

[00:14:59]>> There you have it. Um now this is a technology strategist. Listen to what he says about Ripple. What do you think of the company Ripple and what it is that they're trying to accomplish? So, you got to give full kudos to the grand ambition of Ripple. They're setting out to build a completely nextgen financial settlement system and transition past Wall Street and stock market trades and move to a totally new settlement engine.

[00:15:30]And they want to be that settlement engine. They've got as good a shot as anybody at getting there. And better.

[00:15:36]>> The uh success of Ripple has been absolutely, you know, you look at the last year or so, right? It's kind of incredible the way it's just exploded.

[00:15:45]The transition is going to take time and the early success of Ripple gave them enough currency and boosting power to have them coast for as long as they need to to get to become successful. I don't see how you displace it easily.

[00:16:01]>> Just sit back and watch. And then we had the B BIS concludes project Agora finding token tokenized central banks reserves could make crossber payments faster and safer.

[00:16:14]The New York Fed, the Bank of England, Bank of Japan now move forward revalue test. I think all of those, correct me if I'm wrong, I think all of those have had interaction or partnered with Ripple. But Smoke points out here's uh he says yes Ripple has partnered with several participants in the B BIS project Agora. Here's a few standard chartered BBVA BNY Melon Sumitomo Mitsu Bank Corporation out of Japan MUFG Mitso all running on Ripples's technology while integrating with a BIS project folks. I mean, how many picture? I mean, I can't even count the number of pictures. And my son retired from drawing pictures, but I can't even count the number of pictures that we've drawn over the last eight plus years. Now, we've got TD Bank predicting that the Clarity Act could collapse in 2027 as political chaos explodes. I told you there will be drama.

[00:17:16]Of course, there's going to be drama.

[00:17:18]There was drama before they passed the Genius Act. This is how these guys roll.

[00:17:23]But we've got this too. Here's Tom Emmer.

[00:17:26]>> We've got the Clarity Act. This is not the first iteration of a market structure bill. Uh this is about the fifth iteration. The House has been doing this for seven or eight years that went over to the Senate last summer. I The Senate has had to do some catchup and learning. They marked it up just last week. And I think uh you got to have the uh market structure bill, Maria, because we want that money invested. We want those entrepreneurs, those risktakers coming into our country and being under the supervision of the US government as opposed to setting up shop in the Caribbean or somewhere else.

[00:18:01]>> Yeah, that's right.

[00:18:01]>> Yeah. We want them to be here and you got to give them the rules of the road.

[00:18:05]They got to know who they're dealing with. The C the CFTC, the SEC, the FDIC, the Treasury. who are they responsible to in terms of regulation once those rules are clear. I think our chairman uh uh French Hill from Arkansas says it best. Having the stable coin bill without the clarity bill, the market structure bill is like having a cell phone without the towers. So yes, I the goal is to get it done as soon as possible.
